Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

These creature bore the same symbol as the knight from before, signaling to her that they were of the same side. So an ambush? Okay then, bring it. Summoning her weapon she realized it was mouse-sized like her - a rather convenient feature she must say - and pointed it at the nearest thing, a bird above her. They didn't seem smart enough to talk so no point in a warning she figured so instead she merely smiled.

Yana jumped, grabbing the bird's tail so it would fall to her level. As it was falling she climbed it, jumping off of the thing's head before spinning and falling down at it with momentum enough to kill it. It disappeared with a strange sound, a glowing heart released from it. That was something interesting enough to note down before she moved to the next bird, jumping towards the boxing glove of its when it went in for a punch, bouncing off of it and towards the thing's head where she struck it down. After it vanished like the first she took this chance to tally up the enemies.

Two down, fifty-three to go.

 

Eon was slightly agitated at the fact this detective was just so uninterested in this case. Ignoring them to play a disguise, fidgeting with some bullets, pointing out their Blend effects, this just made the blood boil. Eon wouldn't snap though. He was stronger than that. He had to be or else he would face a punishment worse then death, back home that would be the case. He wasn't sure if the same laws applied to all worlds.

Finally the explanation for the girl came up. It was however in a very crude matter. Not caring for her mother's death, not being interested in a kidnapping of her father, no. None of that. The only interest this rat had was the thief himself having a link to the villain he had already been locating. Eon had it. He couldn't take this sort of treatment anymore. He stood up and walked to the detective. "You are so inconsiderate!" And a slap went across the mouse's face with his hand. "I have never met such a being with a lack of heart in him. No sympathy for this girl at all. You are a wretch." Eon walked past the girl and Dawson and slammed the door behind him. "I need some air."

 

Etrius let out a playful laugh. It seemed that this young man had as much athletic ability as he. Etrius stood up, dusted off his hands, and said, "Nothing like a good exercise to calm the nerves before an oncoming storm. After all, it is Heartless that we're up against, right?" He walked toward the other mouse hole.

 

"I'll check around the mouse trap." Kel said. He quickly made his way back through the mouse hole and back to the mouse trap. "Now if I were some fabric, where would I be." If only he'd explored the area sooner, then this would be easy. Oh well, he'll be exploring it now .

 

Steel was pleased that he had made Etrius happy. When he heard Kel's comment about searching around the mouse trap, he figured that he had better search higher ground. "The more ground we cover, the more of a chance we have to find the dress meterials faster." He thought. He turned around and started climbing to the higher places in the mouse hole. He used the forks to launch himself higher, and used upside down teacups, miniature barrels, and even a matchbox as platforms. "It's mot that hard once you know what you're doing." He then reached the end of his path; a large drop at the end of the platform he was standing on. Steel hesitated, analyzing to see if there was a way he could get back up if he jumped down. The drop didn't frighten him; it was small compared to some of the jumps he had made in the past. However, he didn't wish to become trapped. He saw a fork at the bottom of the gap and decided to jump in. He landed with his knees bent in a crouch. His long cape like scarf billowing from the breeze of his jump and fluttering down around him as he rose from his position, making him appear as though he were being consumed by a churning cloud of darkness.

As he scanned his surroundings he noticed another mouse hole accessible from the top of what appeared to be an overturned washtub. He tried to jump up to the edge of the washtub, as well as the other one that was nearby, but he could not reach. He tried using the fork to catapult himself over to the washtubs, but the distance was too far, and that didn't work either. He decided to use the fork to catapult back up to the high platform and analyze the situation. He continuously looked over all that was down in the gap. He was starting to give up on getting to the mouse hole. Then he saw the weirdest solution to his problem. "What the heck is cheese doing in a spider web?" He practically yelled. Whatever it would still provide the platform he needed. He merely hit the web with his Keyblade and one of the blocks of cheese flew off and landed in the exact spot he needed it to. "Screw science!" He muttered to himself as he headed out.

Once he was outside he found himself back in the room with the mouse trap. This time on top of a piece furniture that would have been unreachable otherwise. He looked around and saw no pink thread. He did however find a white button. He could only carry so many objects bigger than him, so he decided to leave it for now and look for other places to search. He would then alert the others about where to find the white button. It didn't take him long to notice a ruler on top of the wardrobe. It was sticking out in a very suspicious way. He decided to search for a way there. Seeing a few of the others in the room, he called down to them.

 

Without waiting on or checking for her party members Yana noted a few dogs in the area closing in on her. Their swirling eyes were almost hypnotic as she stared into them, waiting on them to make the first move. When one finally did it came from behind and in the form of a simple tackle. Hearing it in-coming Yana jumped, dodging off to the side. Having missed it made itself vulnerable, landing face first in the dirt. Amusing.

Giving a slight laugh she pointed her blade towards it and a few surrounding ones, opting to trying out her new spell rather than striking it down. "Gravity!" A black sphere appeared, covering the five dogs and hiding them out of sight. After crushing them into oblivion it vanished much like they did, leaving behind an impressed Yana. Even while not being a magic user she very much liked this and decided to try it out again in the future. Until then, on to the next lot.

 

Etrius caught up with Steel with little effort, and landed right next to him, standing on his knees. A bit off, he saw a small sash of white linen cloth. He pointed and said, "Over there. That is one item right there. Do you want me to go get it?"

 

Steel shook his head in response to Etrius. "It's within Kel's reach, let him get it. I'm going to find the pink thread, so you should take the white button back to Cinderella's room. I'll meet up with you later." He shouted down to Kel and informed him of the nearby dress materiel. He turned back to the mouse hole, and sought a way higher up.

 

Hearing Steel's shouting, he turned in the direction he told him and saw the dress material. Perfect, that makes one. He wasted no time going over and retrieving it. Better that this back to Jaq. He thought as he ran back into the mouse hole and towards Cinderella's room.

 

Kross heard the panicked gasp of the male mouse and he immediately glanced around. The creatures of the dark appeared, their symbols hauntingly familiar to him."This is the third world I've been to..is there any world they have not attacked?"He said, setting down the bags turned, his back in the direction of Yana's in case she needed someone to watch her back. He hated exposing himself like this, but he barely had a choice. It was now or never. He was not going to let this place sink into the burning darkness. Light surrounded his right hand and the light speared off, shattering to reveal his primary weapon, the Keyblade Twitterpated. He held it behind him, standing with legs straight, feet pointed outwards and a palm out. Then he threw himself into the fray, slashing any heartless that his keyblade could reach, trying to inflict as much damage on their numbers as he could.

 

Steel used the fork to launch himself back up to high ground. By backtracking he realized there was an alternate path across from the one he had taken. He followed it to a drop, where he jumped down and landed next to a mouse hole. He considered that since this was the other side of the wall, it must be what he was looking for. He walked through the mouse hole and instantly found himself on top of the wardrobe. "I didn't expect it to take so short a time." He thought. Steel could now see that the ruler he had seen formed a makeshift bridge to a shelf on the wall. Across the slight gap he found what he was looking for; a spool of pink thread. He walked over to the ruler and carefully edged along it. He then jumped across and landed on the shelf. Once the pink thread was his, Steel no longer saw a need for caution. He jumped from the shelf, again landing perfectly like a strange cloud.

 

When Steel landed, he calmly proceeded to the mouse hole that would lead him back to Cinderella's room. As he walked, he pondered many things. What had happened at the Land of Departure? Where were the others? What was the purpose of hampering with time? There were other, personal, questions to. So many that a normal persons head would be in much pain. Not Steel though. He had been made for large amounts speculation...

 

Noticing the other two handling their own fairly well Yana grinned. It was nice knowing those she got stuck with weren't useless dolts, however one was fighting on her own. Could she even trust them to have her back? Sure she said it would be foolish to give strangers your trust but there was a warrior's code to protect those you fought with, and even if she didn't like them...

Just then she noticed a drill lunging at Karina and even if the other girl noticed it Yana's reflexes kicked in to help. She aimed her blade at it and a flame started forming at its tip. It shot, the recoil shaking Yana some but she remained steady. The fire exploded on impact and took the drill down. After seeing it go she returned to the ones around her, noticing that Kross was fighting near by. So at least he was reliable, it seemed. As a way of saying thanks she cleared out two near-by birds, using the same methods as before.

They had finally found their target; Dumbo. What now? From what the mouse was saying, they didn't have much time to get him ready. Shapur wasn't very good at cheering people up; he wasn't expected to back home. The only type of love he had was tough love, kicking someone in the pants for their own good. He wasn't very sure how effective that would be here.

 

Well, that certainly wasn't something Raisor was expecting. He watched as Eon left the room, and whistled under his breath.
"Wasn't expecting that, that's for sure. You must have gotten under his skin pretty badly to make him so upset. Even still, it doesn't matter if we're from here or not, we're here now, and that's all that matters. All we want to do is help out the girl and get back to where we need to be so we can work on our own problems."
He waited for Basil to reply, seeing how he would take the slap first.

 

Luna looked around for any sign of the white lace or the pink fabric. She looked through one of the mouse holes and found the white lace. "There it is!" She whispered to herself. She stepped out of the mouse hole and proceeded towards the lace with caution.Just a little closer...... Almost there......got it!! She took the white lace and put it in her satchel. She ran back into the mouse hole and started to look for the pink fabric. "Where's the fabric?" She looked around a little more and saw outside a mouse hole. Luna peeped her head out the hole a bit. She saw what appeared to be a hallway. "Bingo!" She ran towards the fabric and picked it up. "Done! I'd better get back to Jaq and the others." With that, Luna started to head her way back to the mouse hole.

 

Steel could sense that the others were gathering back at Cinderella's room. It hadn't been that long since they set out to look for the dress materials, and he was glad that they had gathered them so quickly. "Now all that's left is to finish the dress." He thought. He was glad she would be able to attend the ball. He had a dream once, and he didn't want to see anyone else's crushed.
