Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Etrius was hurt by Luna's retort, but his face remained intact. "Ok then.." Etrius said after Jaq's last comment, "Since everyone is detrimined to shut me up, I'm going to find the pearls myself." His voice was lined with a hurt yet a sarcastic tone. He started to jog to the mouse hole, not planning on hearing anyone else.

 

"I'll go after him." Steel told the others. Without waiting for anyone to object, he sped after Etrius. Steel tended to have problems with whom he addresed as "friend". Or to put it another way, he had almost no friends in his eyes. But he thought of Etrius as a friend, even if it had only been a little while since they had met. So he decided he would be the one to make sure he was okay.

 

Raisor was impressed. It was only by luck, but Eon managed to find Ratigan pretty quickly, and that meant they could take the guy without any trouble, but then a thought came to him.
"I know we were far, but why are you breathing so hard? Please tell me there aren't any...unusual things that Ratigan was packing with him?" He looked at Eon, hoping he wouldn't answer what Raisor was thinking.

 

With the drills frozen in time they made easier targets. She was easily able to rush through them, slashing a few before ending up on the other side as she waited for the spell to wear off. Once it did her attacks were shown as they were beaten around before vanishing. That dropped the drills numbers down into the single digits. In fact, the birds were also few in numbers and with no dogs remaining. They would all soon be gone.

 

Raisor replied to Aden's comment, and summoned up his keyblade, "Well, I wouldn't say they hate us. More like we just have really bad luck. Still, at least it's not a forest fire this time."
He got ready to kill some heartless, although they had to be careful that Basil, Dawson, and Olivia weren't caught by them.

 

It didn't take Steel to long to catch up to Etrius; He was the fastest along with Kel. When he zoomed up to Etrius he remained 100% calm. "Don't let them get to you. She's just stuck in the past right now. It's not easy for her to talk about it." Before Etrius could interject any form of doubt Steel continued. "We're the new guys, in case you haven't noticed, they haven't warmed up to me yet either. Think about it, unless I directly address them, I might as well not exist. Don't worry, they'll warm up to us.

 

Eon caught his breath. "I'll fill you guys in on the details later. The heartless have caught up and we need to take care of them." He gripped his keyblade and charged at the heartless. He swung at them until they popped out little green orbs that magically made him feel healthier as well as drop small yellow diamonds which gave him money. How this was so, he didn't want to argue. Maybe the developers thought it smart. Wit, that's breaking the fourth wall. Eon told his poster to stop doing that and let him fight. Eon continued on making sure none of the heartless would get close to Dawson, Basil, or Olivia.

 

Etrius looked back at Steel. He knew that Steel was only trying to be nice, but it wasn't really helping, knowing that he was still new among the others. "Yeah well, Luna could've been nicer! And besides, I was only trying to help. The more we know, the faster this is going to end." Etrius' tone had grown cold, regretful. "I know you might see me as a friend, but you're not helping. So stop." Etrius hated to rain on someone's parade, but he needed time to think.

 

"Yeah, I don't think we'll be saving you any specimens," Raisor replied as he slashed and diced his own set of heartless, making sure they didn't get anywhere near the three mice. He went for the big ones and attacked, but as soon as his keyblade hit the heartless it bounced right off.
"Ok than, guess we'll just have to see how that back of yours is."
Raisor took a leap and flipped behind the heartless, giving a large swing to the enemy. Sure enough, it disappeared in a dark smoke.
"Ha, knew it." He went around killing as many of the heartless as he could.

 

Luna closed her eyes as she visualized her past. I don't want to think about my past but everywhere I go it keeps coming back to haunt me!! This anger and pain, it's giving you strength to take over my body isn't it? Try all you want, it won't activate the curse to your freedom. Luna started to walk out of the room with that thought in her head. She closed her eyes once more and started to feel the auras that have passed by here. After 3 minutes, she located Etrius and Steel's aura. "Found you guys." She started to follow the scent of the aura given off. Even though some people share some of the pains I do, they have no idea how much pain I have welled up inside after these 4 years. Luna continued to follow the aura while searching for the pearls.

 

Shapur called on his keyblade and narrowed his eyes at the enemies. "You honor me with this battle. Now I shall send you to oblivion." He held his blade with both hands and glared at the enemies. "Krowley. I have your back, can I trust you to have mine?" He said in a stern, almost commanding voice. Once Krowley responded, he would strike the nearest heartless with his blade, wanting to end the battle before it even began.

 

Kel stood back for a bit as everyone else left in search of the pearls. From what he could gather, things about the past were being brought up and causing problems. While he had no problem with any of them keeping their own secrets to themselves, if this was going to happened often, then maybe they should just talk about. Something to solve this problem would be fine by him. Too bad it couldn't be done now. Removing himself from his thought, he ran down the mouse hole in order to catch up to the others/

 

Etrius had slid, swung and jumped around the insides of the mouse hole. When he found the whole leading to the living room, right off the bat, he saw one pearl on top of the nightstand. Etrius took a running start and leaped on one of the knobs, swinging off of them like an acrobat. Forget the mouse hole at the top, this was a faster route, not to mention dangerous. But all Etrius cared about was finishing the mission. He landed at the top with ease and grabbed the pearl. But as soon as he stuffed the pearl in his cloak, the shining of another pearl sparkled from the couch. Etrius smiled. He jumped straight off the dresser and rolled when he hit the ground. He heaved himself to the top, thus bagging the pearl. Killing two birds with one stone, huh? Sounds legit.

 

Continuing the onslaught of moles, Yana attacked them without mercy. Their numbers were nearly depleted now and by the time she began to turn her attention to the birds once more only two moles remained.

 

Luna kept roaming around the mouse hole following Etrius' and Steel's aura. Along her way she found two pearls needed for Cinderella's dress. She collected the pearls and continued on the aura trail. "Shouldn't be too long 'til i find those two."Luna said as she yet again found another pearl. That's pearl number 3! After a few minutes passed by she saw Etrius jump pass her. "Etrius?!"Luna immediately jumped after him. She had jumped two levels in on jump and landed on the platform running after Etrius. "Etrius!"Luna called out to Etrius as she was running. ((OOC: Who's gonna keep count of the pearls the Castle of Dreams group finds until we hit 40?))

 

Steel Didn't hold Etrius actions against him; he was just upset and it's kinda hard to buy the whole "don't worry act from a guy who could only worry about one thing in the first place. He grabbed a pearl from nearby, then ran to the main room. Where he saw Etrius and Luna, jumping around the room, and a big fat Cat with a pearl in it's grasp. "Wow. That is a very thinly veiled murder attempt." He said to himself.

 

Etrius stopped and turned. His frowned at the sight of Luna, a bit unhappy with seeing her. "Hi." He said quietly, "What do you want? You don't want me to go search?" Etrius crossed his arms.
"Cuz I am definitely pissed off on how I was treated earlier."
