Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Luna scowled as she clenched her fists. "Listen! I'm sorry, alright!! I had no reason to yell at you like I did before!"Her tone had turned with anger. She unclenched her fists and sat down calming herself down. "I just really can't talk about those creatures that feed off of negativity. I just can't!!" A sharp pain went through Luna's right shoulder. I totally forgot about this injury. Just live with the pain, Luna. Just as you have been these past 3 years.She started to walk off the pain and grabbed a pearl put of her satchel. "I'm sorry. Not to change subjects but, how many pearls have you found?" Luna's tone softened a bit as she tried calming down.

 

Etrius was quiet during Luna's outburst. He saw her shoulder still wasn't well. He knew she wasn't in good shape. Suddenly, another image entered his mind, this time it was Luna in her Beserk state. Etrius had never seen what this woman was capable of. He then understood. He shook his head and replied, "I had found 2 pearls on both the couch and the nightstand, and I think I see one on that high self." Etrius pointed in the direction of the next pearl.

 

Steel saw Etrius and Luna stop to talk to each other. He noticed Luna's pain and remembered that he had bought a potion specifically for her. He decided he should give it to her before they get attacked by the cat, whom Steel guessed was the Lucifer that Jaq had mentioned (as Roosefee). He sped around to them as quickly as he could, removing the potion from his bag as he came to a screeching halt next to them. He held it out to Luna and Said "I brought this for you."

 

"I'm perfectly fine."Luna stood up responding to Steel's offer. Luna saw the pearl Etrius was pointing at. "There's more than one up there. I think I can get it." Luna took a couple steps back and ran towards shelf jumping at the right moment landing on the shelf. "Got it!" Luna grabbed the pearls. "Aargh!" Her shoulder injury struck through once more. Luna dropped the pearls and started to roll off the shelf. "The pearls!"

 

Etrius saw what happened and leaped up and collected the pearls that Luna had dropped. "Shouldn't stress you arm. It'll only get worse." He replied. He said to Steel, "Give her the potion, otherwise she'll end up killing herself. " Etrius looked around to see if there were more pearls nearby.

 

After collecting a couple of pearls along the way, Kel had finally managed to actually see his group. From the looks of things they all had found some pearls. The only downside he could see was that Luna was down holding her injury. When he got to them, he handed Luna a potion. "Here you are."

 

"Seriously guys, I'm perfectly fine so let's just carry on okay?"Luna stood up and put the pearls she had in her satchel being careful not to break her father's box and its contents. "Let's see how much we have so far. Sounds good?" Luna asked as she kept walking grabbing her shoulder a little bit. I won't let something minor as this faze me.

 

"If you say so." Kel said. Right now it wouldn't be much of a problem, but it may be a hindrance later. Still no need to worry about it now. "I got three how about you guys?" Kel asked. Hopefully they had at least broken ten pearls.

 

Luna took out the pearls she had in her satchel. " I have two pearls and I know Etrius has 2 as well." She did some math in her head for a moment. "So far we have 7 pearls and with the two pearls we just collected we have 9 pearls. Steel, how many pearls do you have?" She turned toward Steel and asked her question.

 

Etrius was taking a good look at the cat while listening to the conversation. 40-9=31 pearls remaining. Very good. He did a double take on the cat. It had what looked an evil grin. No person or animal can smile in their sleep. Something was off about the animal. Etrius turned away to see another glittering. But this one was moving. Strange. Pearls don't move. The glittering was at the top of the dresser, meaning Etrius would have to get there via the mouse holes. He told the others, "There's one up there! But it's....moving?"

 

Steel believed that Luna's actions were ridiculous and Hypocritical, why chase after a goal such as hers without the help of others? But he decided not to say anything about it. "It could be a problem later," he thought. "But I can give her the potion then." He responded to her question by saying: "I've only found one. That makes ten, 30 more to go."

 

Etrius kept climbing, jumping off the ends of punched in forks, and finally coming out at the top of the dresser. It was one of the blue creatures, and it was carrying two pearls. It looked like a rat, with the exception of its ears and limbs, the limbs reduced to thin lines, the ears being lightning shaped. It twiched madly at being disturbed. Etrius stood his ground taking a battle stance, but he did not not summon his Keyblade. What should he do, attack, or just stand and wait?

 

Steel realized that Etrius was gone and realized he must have gone looking for the pearls he had mentioned. "I'm going after Etrius." he told Kel and Luna. He then departed for the mouse hole. On his way over he noticed four pearls underneath the wardrobe. He walked over, gathered them up, and continued after Etrius.

 

For 5 minutes, Etrius nor the mysterious creature moved. What the hell was that thing? Did it work with the Heartless? Or did it hide a deeper truth? Etrius cocked his head with wary curiosity as he looked into the creatures eyes. Etrius' vision suddenly flashed, and the muscular masked boy appeared in place of the creature. Etrius stepped back in shock. Then, the boy said one word, "Unversed." And the vision disappeared just in time for more creatures to appear. Etrius retook his battle stance. He was surrounded.

 

After Kross had cast his time based spell, he quickly went to work attacking the Heartless that were frozen in time, they were going to feel it when the effects wore off anyway. He strafed back and held his keyblade. Though there were pulses of pain on his back, he'd walk it off. For now, he had to concentrate on the battle at hand. His allies were fighting, so why shouldn't he? He looked at them."Watch your step!"He said, raising his keyblade up. The air grew heavy as lightning came from the sky and struck the heartless around him, causing them to vibrate violently before popping into darkness."Thunder!"He shouted the spell, feeling his own hair raise a bit from the close contact of nature's most powerful weapon.

 

An attack was launched at a nearby bird but her blade did not make contact. When she looked she noticed it had been from the work of a spell. The thunder attack cascaded into the being before hers could, eliminating the beast. A rather neat thing, that spell. Though it would have been nice for it to take care of something she was not already handling. She had to wonder, however, how hard it was to control that spell. Sure one could target a certain area but thunder was a living thing itself.

So it slid.

With those thoughts out of the way Yana turned her attention to an in-coming bird and, without turning to face it, she lifted her keyblade and pointed it to the side. Another fire spell was used to take it out of the picture and then a gravity spell for a different bird.

They were down instantly thanks to the effective spells, though magic was hardly her thing, despite how impressed she was by it. Her body was just too tired to perform too many spells. In fact it was surprising she got that many out. There would be no more now though, as she panted and closed her eyes, taking a short moment to rest while standing. The remaining enemies made enough noise for her to feel safe doing this, however she would not risk more than a few moments with her guard down.

 

When Steel caught up to Etrius he was surrounded by the blue creatures. "Ugh." He griped aloud. "These vermin." A look of clear disgust on his face. Unsure of exactly what he should do, he knelt down, shot over a monster which was holding a pearl, grabbed it and joining Etrius in the center. "So how is your day?" He asked.

 

Luna saw Etrius running towards the unversed. Soon after she saw Steel run after him. "You gotta be kidding me!" Luna scowled as she clenched her fists. "Kel! Let's go, now!!" Luna summoned her keyblade and ran towards Etrius and Steel. Once she reached those twos she ran towards the unversed keyblade in hand. "Etrius! Steel! Outta of my way now!!" Luna had a fiery look in her eyes that would trigger her berserk state yet it didn't for some reason.

 

"NO." Etrius said stopping Luna. He motioned the others to lower their blades. He turned back to that "Unversed." Seeing that it's pearls were stolen, it twitched, but did not attack. it suddenly disappears, the welcoming committee along with it. 2 pearls less to worry about. Etrius turned to Luna, eyes completely red. "Someone better tell me what's going on." Etrius said, his voice low but dangerous, "Because I just saw the very person I wish to rip apart."
Etrius was not happy. Not one bit.
