Steel landed in such a way that you couldn't tell that he had landed. Standing straight up, he pulled his Volto mask out from his jacket. He carefully put it on, without changing the position of the scarf around his face. He did not have a reason for putting the mask back on, other than that he enjoyed the sense of what it represented. He searched the area and found 1 pearl under a teacup, and 2 on a ledge near the fork in the wall. After making sure he hadn't missed anything, he left the mouse hole.

Etrius groaned.
He had been searching the entire house, and he still couldn't find any pearls. He even got a look at Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters. Ugly ducklings, the lot of them. He did manage to find all but one pearl. He sat down on a spool of thread to think. Maybe he just needed to look in an easier place. Then he thought of the pearl laying right next to the cat. It looked suspicious, and he would defend himself if push comes to shove, and besides, one less pearl to worry about. He jumped off the spool, and took off.

When Steel got out of the mouse hole, he jumped on top of a ball of yarn and rolled it over to an end table. He jumped on, and proceeded to grab two pearls from both it and the window sill. He looked outside at the sky. It was quickly growing dark and the stars were starting to come out. "So each of those is another world." Steel said to himself.

The crash-landing stranger had made his impact into the ring and fallen soon after. Unknown to him, he had at least assisted in defeating a few strangers before his untimely blackout from the receding heartless. With a quickening heart pace, he fled to the stranger's aid with Shapur covering him with much force and strength. A flare note had caught wind of his running and began to chase after him, bouncing and honking fireballs at him. Quickening his pace, he eventually stopped on his left foot and did a quick pivoting turn, charging at the heartless with a powerful rush. With momentum imbued into force, the flare note was hit rapidly until disappearing, being the last heartless in his peripheral vision. "Heal!" he cried out, using the last of his MP to heal the fainted man.

With all heartless gone, Dumbo was still running around in panic. "Dumbo, they're gone! you can stop running!" Timothy called out. He was unfortunately unheard, and the baby elephant's ears flopped around, causing him to trip and stumble into the Rubber ball. What happened after was all, but pretty. Once Dumbo had hit that ball, the elephants came crashing down, toppling over one another and scaring the audience out of the tent. Elephants crashed and banged into each other, creating a toppling effect that destroyed nearly all the circus equipments, but left the ten and shrunken party unscathed. In the clearing smoke, Trainers had arrived to clear the elephants back into their Kennel, and the ringmaster came out in a fury of rage. "My circus!" he yelled out in rage, glaring at the path of destruction. He turned to Dumbo and turned red in anger. the little elephant in all it's dizziness began to shyly wave his broken flag."You! If I had not already sent you mama away, I would have you put down!" He yelled ruthlessly. "I cannot afford to lose anymore elephants, but you'll be lucky if I don't make you a clown after this! RELENA!!" He called out.
A small blonde girl wearing a small black dress, came running out into the ring. "Y-yes ringmaster?" she asked timidly.
"Get this pachyderm out of my sight!" he walked away yelling infuriatingly. "Think of the cost! Who wants to go to a circus that practically kills you, think of the damages..." His voice faded into the distance leaving a crying Dumbo, the little blonde girl, timothy, and a depleted party of keybladers standing around the broken rubble.

Once everyone had climbed aboard, Jake made his way to stand on the Wombat's head. He tapped it lightly with his foot to signal that he wanted to go higher. "This is squad leader Jake speaking, please keep all hands and personal, tightly secure to the Wombat at all times." He tapped the head once more to be lowered to their level. "Rumor has it that his hideaway is near an abandoned mine, which may very well be true as it is also west. "Just so you know who we're looking for, here's a picture of the fellow we need to apprehend." Jake reached into his pocket and held up a picture of the kidnapper.
"Adorable, isn't he," he mentioned sarcastically. "As for the boy, I don't exactly have a photo, but if you've seen 1 blond haired Australian boy, you've seen em all, am I right?" Once again the party was silent at his remarks. "Ah, what do a bunch o' Yanks know anyway?"He looked over the ears of the wombat. "You get me, right?" The wombat blinked and twitched it's nose a few times. "Ah, what does a wombat know anyway? Let's just get moving, Hya!" Grabbing the fur like a horses reigns, he mushed the wombat into racing west.

~MISSION START~ III. Track McLeach

Meanwhile, at McLeach's hideaway

McLeach was sitting across Cody in his very rustic abode. He was eying the boy, while simultaneously sharpening his knives. "Well boy, let's see if we can do something to refresh that rusty old memory of yours. Is she on Satan's Ridge?" the Hunter threw a knife at the map, which sat across from Cody. "Or Nightmare Canyon??" He throw another knife. "Whadda you think Joanna?" he smiled evilly. The large lizard nodded and cackled in a rasp. "Yeah, that's it... right smack dab in the middle at Croc Falls!" That time, he threw the knife exceptionally hard, causing the blade to go all the way through. "Am I gettin' warm??"

"Don't you realize a bird that size is worth a fortune?? I'll split the money with you fifty-fifty, you can't get a better offer than that boy."
"You won't have any money after the rangers get through with you."
Just as he turned angry and was about to strike the boy, some one came in through the door. A very tall woman with wavy brown hair, green eyes, and blue garb came trailing in, past the smoke outside.
"Please tell me you found it and I can cut the brat loose?"
The woman shook her head. "She's quite the evasive ol' bird" she replied.
"Rrr... I need time to think! Put him in the back so I can get my act together" he barked.
Aside from debating his command, she shrugged. "Whatever moves this along..." She took out her lance and shove Cody with it.
"Come on now..." she said, nudging him.

Aden slashed through a couple of Shadows at once, only to strike the belly of one of the bigger Heartless in the follow-through and to bounce right off. The Heartless didn't give him time to recover from the knockback, immediately charging him. Aden quickly dodge-rolled out of the way and struck its back. Then he shot a Blizzard at a charging Soldier and took a minute to catch his breath. "See any end to these guys?" he called to Raisor and Eon.

Base leaped to his feet with frenzied-fury; he surveyed the area for more Heartless and was relieved not to find any. But what had happened to the circus? It was all in ruins! Who were these people around him as well? There were two other people about his size and a mouse in a grenadier outfit just about as tall. These were just the people closest to him on the ground. When he looked up he saw, towering over the lot of them like the mighty Skyscrapers of Theate, a raving Circus Maestro, a little blond girl that was not so little compared to Base but who was much shorter than the mustachioed and red-faced Ring Leader. He had to be middle-aged, but the female ward, though it was hard to tell because she was perceptibly hundreds of feet taller than he was at this point, she couldn't have been older than a than the preteen range. 11-14 was all he could guess. He looked a little lower an saw the grey elephant he had noticed running around earlier; it was at this moment that Base realized just how visibly bigger the elephantine ears were compared to the rest of its body, let alone its head.

He turned to the person standing over him (or at least, in the shimmering blue and yellow suit of armor he looked like a person) and looked him dead in the glossy golden visor. He searched for a pair of eyes underneath but saw only his own reflection glaring back at him. Disheartened by the failed attempt to identify the stranger as a live human being, he attempted the next course of action. This certain socialization was one that he dreaded above all other things: talking to people he didn't know and/or didn't know he could trust.

"Ummm... what happened?" He figured he'd go for something simple and something that would be of use to him to ask anyway. Then he gave it a second thought; shouldn't he introduce himself first before being so informal? No. He would play his cards close to his chest for now. He'd tell these people his name was Lucy Pennyworth at this point if he was ushered into any trace hint of distrusting anyone.

After a little bit a searching, Kel managed to find three pearls. All of which were left completely unguarded. That made his job easy though, especially since he never knew what to expect in this place. Might as well head back to Cinderella's room. Holding every pearl that he'd collected carefully, he made his way back to where they were all meeting.

When the picture was shown Yana made a point to memorize the face to the best of her ability. Though really, it didn't seem like there would be many humans out in these parts so locating them shouldn't be too hard, especially once they get to the correct area. Until then nothing to do until the ride stopped. And wonder what was a yank.

"I'll let you know the answer to that question when I do see the end of them," Raisor replied to Aden, cutting down a few more heartless while he was at it. He didn't mind fighting, but it kept bothering him that all of these people in these worlds could, for some reason or another, just call up heartless whenever they want. If they wanted to fight, couldn't they just do it themselves so he could be them up?

Aden groaned and returned to the battle. He fired a Blizzard at a Soldier and a couple of Shadows, then smashed the Heartless to pieces. Another Shadow melted into the ground and crept towards him, but Aden stabbed his Keyblade into the Heartless. "Peasants," he grumbled. "...Huh. Never thought I'd actually say that."

"My my," Raisor grinned at Aden with a comical smile, "are you actually talking down to heartless? I'm surprised. I guess maybe there's a side of you that I'm not aware of?"
Raisor knocked back a few more heartless, then burned a couple with his fire spell. Magic wasn't his strong suit, but it also let him smoke a few heartless and not waste energy swinging his keyblade around.

Luna looked high and low for the remaining pearls but no dice so far. "Where's that damn two pearls?!" Luna started to get frustrated at the hunt for the last two pearls. As she was running to find the pearls, she tripped on something. "What in the world?!" Luna looked at what she tripped over. "The pearls!" Luna smiled as she grabbed the pearls. "Time to head back!" She started to sprint back to Cinderella's room.

Etrius was hiding in the shadows, underneath a small drawer, looking at the cat. Fat oaf. It was obvious that the cat had set a trap, and it had given that fact away when it smiled in its "sleep". Etrius knew that the others had had not returned, so he needed to do this the old-fashion way. Etrius summoned his Keyblade, ran and grabbed the last pearl, and slashed at the animal's nose.

Luna felt a dark aura awaking from slumber. "What the-?!" Luna stopped in her tracks and started to walk toward the aura. She soon felt Etrius' aura near the dark aura. He better not think of fighting that cat by himself!Luna started to run toward both auras.

Steel turned around to see Etrius running across the floor towards Lucifer. He didn't really see what happened when he got there, but he was smart enough to guess from the cats reaction. "I guess that must have been the last pearl." he said. Grateful that he now had the high jump ability, Steel used it and his natural speed to jump the gap, and land behind Etrius. He turned around, summoned his keyblade, and prepared to fight.

((OOC- I know high jump doesn't effect things like this, but earlier Steel was having trouble reaching a higher platform. That was before he learned high jump, so to prevent confusion between the two post, I just used high jump as an excuse.))

Kel was the last one to arrive and what he saw didn't leave him happy at all. Both Etrius and Steel were about to challenge the cat. Can't this wait until later. That was when he noticed the pearl Lucifer had. Guess not. Calling forth his keyblade, he stealthy made his way around the cat and waited for it to make the first move.

Eon ran to a group of heartless sliding underneath a few benches to swing at them from underneath. Being small had its advantages sometimes. A few slashes later they burst into a thick smoke of purple mist. Eon got a smell of the fumes being emitted from the disappearing creatures. It smelled of anger, misery, fear, and the most overwhelming factor, nothingness. He began to cough a little from it. The weirdest part about it was, he liked it. His pupils shrank and a grin came across his face. He cast Aero as a way to push himself higher into the air. He came rushing down to maximize his velocity at the large group of fat heartless.

He struck them down and as he hit the ground, he spun in a circle with his keyblade out, swiping at the feet of the other heartless, knocking them down. He grabbed a heartless by the neck and continued to smack it until it vaporized. His head turned to Basil. He began to charge at them with full force. He was only a few steps away and before he could do anything, he instantly stopped. His hands shook as he dropped his keyblade. "What am I doing..."

Enraged Lucifer fluffed of his nose with his paw and growled at the tiny Etrius. Raising his paw, the cat was interrupted by a yarn ball to the head. Several more balls of yarn were being thrown overhead in the direction of an upper dresser. It was Jaq! The little mouse had found his way into the wardrobe room and was repeatedly firing arsenal to try and get the others to escape. "Flurry, flurry!" Scratching away the balls, Lucifer eyed Jaq with intense rage and tackled the dresser. The poor mouse lost his balance and was toppled off the high plane, and right onto the cat's soft left paw. He licked his lips carnivorously, holding Jaq only by his tail and edging him ever to closely towards his wide open mouth.

"Show's over," Krowley replied sadly. The circus was in ruin, and a lot of noise could be heard outside by both elephant and human alike. He sighed in discontent and sympathized for the poor elephant. While he couldn't remember his own parents, he certainly knew humiliation well enough. And what's more, being yelled at and punished for an act that wasn't on his own accord. Looking back at the new arrival, he noticed the mild mannered atmosphere around him. Light, but with a keyblade, it was safe to assume he was on their side. So long as the wielder had no mask, Krowley was fine with it. He had seen enough masked faces...

"What a calamity! A disastrous show that wasn't caused by a clown..." Timothy had made his way along the tattered carpet that Dumbo walked across earlier.
"They'll end up making the poor little guy a clown if he's lucky! I gotta go check up on him!" He began to rush out into the elephant kennel's when the little blonde girl from before was seen walking out. She rubbed her arm in sadness, but attempted to hide it at the sight of the little mouse. She knelt down as close as she could to Timothy's level, crouching to get within speaking distance. "Aww, you saw that too, huh?"
"Saw it? I ended up gettin' a front row seat to that debauchery! "
She tilted her head as if she couldn't understand. "If you want to see your friend, he's back in the kennel's. He could really use some cheering up."
"Say no more Relly, timothy mouse is on the job. That is to say, the job don't pay, but it's for a friend! Not that he's some kinda charity case but- you know what, I'm gonna go check up on him now..." In slight embarrassment, he walked on both hind legs at a quickened pace out of sight of the main stage.
Relena stood up and watched the little mouse off. "Wish I had some one like that..." she said sadly to herself. Turning, while walking, she became stunned at the site of the 3 small figures. Odd, since it would be hard to spot them out, but with the debris off the circus equipment everywhere, it was somewhat easy to spot the moving targets.

Amazed, she walked forward to gain a closer look at the phenomenon. Within a meter's range, she discovered their human like appearance. "Wow.. tiny people!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Can you guys speak? Huh?" She spoke to them as if they were the mouse, or any other intangible animal.

Steel saw Lucifer move to eat Jaq. "Nature." He snorted. He quickly jumped up to Lucifer's paw, summoned his keyblade, and slashed his nose again. Then he grabbed Jaq and took him down to the others. "We just love making this guy mad, huh?" It wasn't really a question. They had a mission to accomplish, after all.

"It...it slipped out," Aden confessed, his ears burning. He quickly changed the subject. "There are only a few Heartless left. We should be done in no time, then we can catch back up to Basil and Olivia and John."

Focused on cutting down Heartless, he hadn't noticed Eon's freak-out.
