Luna summoned her keyblade and spoke to the rest of the keybladers that were to go after Cinderella. "Guys, try to summon your key-gliders! If all of us manage to get our key-gliders then we can catch up to Cinderella!" Luna threw her keyblade and a key-glider had appeared before her. She jumped onto her glider and grabbed her satchel. She rode off toward Cinderella's carriage.

Beuce was ready as ever to get a mission in. "Yeah! Let's do this! I've been waitin' forever to get in a mission. Even equipped my new fancy keyblade for it." He said, summoning sweet memories. "Might not look like much, but the effect is badass. Plus i had to kill the freaking dark lord of hundred acre woods to get this. Do you know what it's like to go up against Chistopher Robin? Seeing as you aren't dead, that's probably a no." He said to everyone in his group. Anyway, enough chitchat! He was enveloped in a bright flash of light as he transformed the keyblade into it's glider form. He was ready to do this. However, he was a little close to the ground...What? He looked down at his glider. The glider changed depending on the keychain equipped to it, but was always more or less the same concept. For example, sweet memories had given him a small wooden bicycle, meant for a child. It was entirely made of wood, even the wheels. Beuce was about twice the size that it was intended for. "...Well then..."

No going back now. He placed his feet against the pedals and began turning them with all his might. He raced off after the girl he was meant to be protecting. Racing faster and faster, going faster than one would have believed it possible to go on a bicycle. He began gaining on a carriage. Inside were two NPCs deemed not important enough to be given names. They looked to the side and saw something vaguely resembling this staring them down:

"Overtaken by a strawberry?!" one of the passengers called out.
    "What does that even mean?"
    "I DON'T KNOW! I WAS MAKING A REFERENCE!"
    "A what?"
    "AAAAAGGH!"
The conversation ended with the first passenger, who had been the driver, losing his sanity in confusion and steering sharply to the side and crashing into a wall, which for some odd reason caused the carriage to catch fire and the sounds of glass breaking was heard, despite there being none nearby.
"Well that happened." Beuce said to himself before looking back in front of him and resuming his intense face and unimaginable biking speed.

"Demon?" Base was brushed by a fleeing reveler shrieking what he asked at the top of their lungs. He was surely dumbstruck when Krowley called him to look for the cause of the grand royal exodus, since he had no idea where to start, given the confusion. All the same, he felt honored to be included in the masked personage's group, as more than a few of the newer people to him seemed to regard him as some sort of leader, which he had guessed loosely back on the previous world. "As much as I like the new weaponry, I think I might need something that'll cover me entirely." Base said to himself as he struggled with the decision to change to his Unbound keyblade or stick with the Ferris Gear. In the end he opted to not switch, wanting to try out the colorful circus keyblade he'd acquired first after the original Kingdom Key. "Where to start?" He asked his group.

"Ananta is mine." Only able to mutter these words, she turned towards the screams behind her. Guests at the ball were running in a panic, trying to escape from whatever was in there. She kept hearing 'Monster!' from many of the people. Among the rag tag group around her, she watched as one yelled out orders for others to follow. Turning back, having not heard her own name or even something that was remotely close to what she looked like, she turned in time to see Cinderella gone and Vanitas flying away.

"Anyone who wasn't called, follow after Cinderella!" Ananta called out. The light in her was strong, the darkness in Vanitas was just as strong. She felt like these were connected and somehow, Cinderella was in trouble.

Gritting her teeth, Ananta leaned down to the ground and held her jewel necklace in her hands. Kissing it, she began to pray. "Great stone of those passed, give me the speed to chase the darkness away." Glowing in her hand, a yellow energy poured over her. "Sixty seconds, starting now." she muttered to herself. Holding onto her keyblade in her left hand, she rushed towards where Cinderella had gone off to. Dust kicked up as she ran. "Fifty-nine, fifty-eight, fifty-seven, fifty-six...." she counted to herself. She wanted this enchantment to not be wasted.

"It's nice to meet you Ananta. He replied as they continued to wait. Steel merely continued tapping his fingers in what seemed to be a ceremonial tune to him as multiple of his allies began chaotically running about in their attempts to contain the threat that apparently lay both behind and before them. The only thing that changed about his demeanor was that his eyes gave off a blank stare; Vanitas had completely blown him off. "You would think people with Latin names would listen to each other." He thought. Then he remembered that he had not told anyone his real name. So he put that thought aside with plans to come back to it later. "Good luck." He said to Ananta as she ran off to protect Cinderella. When Karina started yelling about not having to follow Krowley's orders, he wanted to use his full power right there; It was such an idiotic accusation that he wanted to pummel her and bring her to the Professor for his experiments. He hadn't really tried to make her do anything; He mumbled something about asking them to make the effort and then said what they could do if they wished to oblige. Obviously, she didn't. "Lazy, self centered." He whispered under his breath. When Kel made his marvelous joke about fainting, Steel once more smiled beneath his mask like scarf; though this time it was somewhat genuine. He thought it was funny; Faint one time when you're new with the power and they mark you a failure for life. Even more funny considering he kind of
-was- a failure for life. "But I faint with such wondrous style!" he said with sarcasm before he ran up the stairs after Krowley. As he did he summoned his keyblade and switched the keyblade to his newer one. It offered stronger capabilities and as he soon found out, had a form more to his liking. It was thinner, more lightweight, yet still strong. it could help the speed of his blows. "This is my kinda sword." He said as he ran on.

    Steel received 17 EXP.

Halting in his tracks, Krowley was forced to turn and stop Karina and Kel from drifting off. Base and Steel seemed willing, but if he wanted to keep everyone in line, he would need their assistance. Not just to defeat some unknown monster, but to keep them away from Vanitas. "He's baiting you!" he shouted out to the two. It seemed to have caught their attention as they were still within earshot.

"Think about it... If Vanitas wanted a fight, he would have taken us all down right here and now, but he didn't! He's been narrowly avoiding us at every turn. I-It's as if he wants to guide us to success or failure! And we can't help but follow him for the safety of others. If we all follow him, it's a fifty, fifty chance of my theory being right. But if we don't stop whatever threat is here, do you know what the odds will be?" he paused to give them a miniscule chance of answering. But to be honest, it was more rhetorical, than anything. "Still fifty, fifty...and there are nearly ten strangers who are willing to risk their lives too see if I'm right." He paused once more to see if the logic would sink in as he caught his breath from an adrenaline fueled heart. His heart was still heavy at the sudden decisions he had to make. His whole life he had been following orders and doing what others asked him of. Since his journey into the past, he had been taking charge more often and was still unfamiliar with it. But comfort or not, he needed to keep everyone withing good reach to lend a helping hand.

"We have more to lose if we don't fight. He'll be there when we're done, I can promise you that... As to whether you get your shot at him, I don't know. I want him to pay as much as anyone, but we both need to sort out our priorities..." He began to go once again tot he ballroom, but slowed down in acceleration. He wasn't in any place to make people's decisions for them. Heck, he was surprised he got this much subordination already! And with that in mind, he let out a short sigh and spoke out again. This time more reasonably. "Do what you need to do. But don't do them for your own personal reasons. Do them for the right ones..." He had said what he needed to, and once again made a dash to the door. Whether they responded was there call, but he had to let their hearts lead them.

    Krowley received 22 EXP.

"A marvelous and Insightful speech." Steel said to Krowley as he ran next him. The two were headed to the ballroom as it was the most likely place for the monster to be. His logic was following the fact that it was the biggest room and all the guest seemed to notice the threat at once. He didn't need to guide Krowley; the path to the ballroom was very linear. So he decided to spend the little time they had to ask a question. "It was great and all, but.... aren't you mad at him? Because of Vanitas, you're friend left, right? He's one of the bad guys now. So I have to ask, How can you stand it?" Steel Honestly didn't expect an answer; he would probably get something like: "How do you know about that?!" But he had to ask because he didn't know Krowley yet and for him the fastest way to learn about someone was to look at the darkness in their hearts. That is, so long as it was an answer offered up willingly and not taken by force. He awaited The answer to his question, hoping he heard the right one.

Flora twirled her Keyblade and tossed it, summoning her Glider. "Alright! Let's go!" She said, jumping on and following Luna. "Come on guys, don't get left behind! We got a mission to do!" She giggled and kept going. She wasn't gonna slow down for anything, especially since she had already hindered progress at the Outback.

Karina halted at the sound of Krowley's voice. She didn't turn around though, just stood there to think. Am I really just falling straight into a trap set out for us? Am I just being irrational right now, doing this only because I was told to do something else? And what about the people in there, how many will die from my decision?" All these questions came from three words that Krowley said. "He's baiting you." These three simple words made Karina's mind fill with the thoughts she suppressed when she acted on impulse. And these impulsive moves is what tended to get her in trouble cause she never truly thought over her actions. She acted on emotions, emotions that tended to be dark and un-trusting.

Her brothers warning echoed through her head. "If you keep going on like this you will get yourself killed. I can't let that happen to you!" Karinas brother yelled at her as he followed her into the woods one late night. It was a mere week before she had left her world to help at the land of departure. "These emotions are going to get you into trouble one day. I beg of you let them go, I want to see the cheerful eager young girl that was my little sister not this." "That girl is gone." Karina said in a monotone voice as she pulled away from her brother and ran off into the woods.

Karina focused back in on Krowleys talking part way through his little speech. She just caught his statistics on something. Something about a fifty- fifty chance. People could die from this choice here and now. Could she live knowing that? She didn't think she could. Karina slowly turned around, her eye diverted from the rest of the group, too embarrassed to make eye contact with anyone at the moment. "Y-your right..." She mumbled. She cleared her throat then spoke again louder. "I am not willing to take that chance. The odds are not on either sides favour which makes it all that worse."

Karina glanced at Kel for a second before listening to the end of Krowley's speech. "Vanitas. You better watch your back. I am coming for you. Not now but soon I will be there to bring you to your knees." Karina whispered. But the last comment got her thinking again. She thought she was doing what she was doing for the right reasons. Vanitas was an evil man, he had kidnapped a young woman, he had to pay didn't he? He had done wrong to other worlds too and this one. He needed to be put to a stop. But was she doing it for the sake of the people living here or because her pride was wounded when she failed her mission thanks to him and his friends. She wanted to save the people didn't she? Would that not be done by eliminating the immediate threat then going back to deal with the stronger but less immediate threat that waited for them after?

Karina had made up her mind. "He's right." She said to Kel. She then turned to see that Krowley was already leaving. He was a good 20 feet ahead of her now so she would have to sprint to catch up, but that wasn't a big deal. A little extra work out never hurt anyone. She wasn't going to be left behind on this mission or allow herself to drag down her team. With Keyblade in hand she sprinted off to catch up to Krowley hoping that Kel would follow. No one should be left behind either. He was on her team, regardless whether she knew him or not, whether she liked him or not, he was a team mate at the moment. If there was anything she had learned so far from the time she had spent away from home is that you always should rely on your team, they need you like you need them. Judgement could wait for a later time, a fight was a fight. There are no friends just allies. People you could trust, and she knew these fellow keyblade wielders where people she could trust to have her back in battle no matter what. Even if she hated them they still seemed to be willing to help her in combat. A concept that seemed so foreign to someone who had no friends or allies on'y family or enemies.

Hearing Krowleys words, Kel stopped in his place and went into thought. While he had no set grudge against Vanitas in any way, the fact that he was trying to keep someone else from running off just might play right into his hands. It was just like what had happened back on his home. His intention were completely peaceful and look what happened. He swore that he wouldn't let something like that happen again and he meant it. Kel gave Karina a quick nod before heading off. He felt confident that the ones going could handle themselves, beside it would have his chance to shine soon enough. Whether it be now defending the people or at some later time.

As he got back to the others, he looked to Krowley and said. "Well then, these beast aren't going to take themselves out are they." It was his way of saying that he was ready for whatever may face them. Unlike what those words used to mean, he now had the strength to back them up.

Base looked first to Karina and Steel as Krowley spoke considering why Vanitas had acted as the masked boy had; Base had to assume Krowley knew who the masked boy was, and that the masked boy was Vanitas. From what Krowley surmised, Base presumed this other masked figure, the darker one, was more odious and manipulative than Base was accustomed to dealing with; even for a boy from a well-populated city. So far, everyone else, including Kel and himself, had been silent as Krowley continued to point out what Base supposed should have been obvious to anyone not coming late to the party, because even he felt like he could wrap his young mind around what Krowley expounded upon. “Makes sense to me.” Base managed to fit in during a pause after Krowley had said “willing to risk their lives to see if I’m right.” “I don’t know if I’m already in that count, but consider me indebted to the cause in whatever way I can be of use.” Base continued, but Krowley continued to speak, no doubt trying to finish the full thought. What the final words said before the blue suited young man darted off for the ballroom doors one last time struck Base deeply; at last, he found someone who understand what was worth fighting for, and Base felt more willing to fight by Krowley’s side more than ever.

Swiftly, Base caught up to Krowley and another boy, Steel, as the latter asked questions that made nearly no sense to Base, but likely because it involved someone he was not yet acquainted with more than anything else. “You have the blade of Sebastian Noble, Krowley.” Base gave the two others a curt nod as they ran, once the other accompaniment had finished asking questions. Base knew he was waxing poetic and maybe now was not the time for fancy words, but he could not help it. He had faced much worse, cataclysmic events before even arriving in Pachyderm Parade so he was accustomed to the danger, but this… this felt like it was so much bigger than anything Base had previously been a part of. This entire fiasco spoke of repercussions that went on for how long Base didn’t exactly know, all he did know was that this was something much bigger than him. “There are still a lot of things I don’t really know. If I make it out of this alive, someone’s going to have to catch me up.” He chuckled lightly. “Who knows, I might just open up with my own story.” His Keyblade still in hand, Base concentrated on the door leading onwards; the door he felt would lead to many more doors later on. The questions was that he asked himself was: how many will I be opening and where will they all lead? Base turned to Steel. “I hope you’re ready.” He huffed and breathed as harshly as possible; the recent strains and tribulations had certainly increased his athleticism, which was nearly non-existent all throughout his previous life. All so many changes, and all so many changes for the better still.

    Base received 26 EXP.

It was quite the powerful speech that the man said. Eon knew nothing of him or even his side until now. He was clearly on their side and confirmed Vanitas's allegiance. Eon grinned widely and charged at the door into the ball room. They needed to stop Vanitas and help get the keyblade masters back to the World of Departure, Vanitas would be their clue if they could get him to talk.

Krowley pressed on with a loyal group he could now count on. Wether they chose to be befriended or not. The group of five was also very well balanced in terms of fighting style. Karina and Kel were strong, with a lot to offer offensively. From what he could see, he noticed that Steel was quick, already ahead of him on their way to the room. Base, whom he only encountered recently, was a good and reliable mage. Despite his lanky apparel, Krowley went the defensive route. Back in his academy, several people thought he was more suitable through speed or magic training, but he insisted that he wanted to go the route that best protected people.

As the group approached the ballroom, Krowley gave a quick scan around. The last of the people passed him by atop the final staircase and the room was now empty, only being able to hear the echoes of their footsteps along the marble floor. where was this creature? All he could hear was the band playing. As the violin continued it's soft sound, he paused a few steps in front of the center of the room, to give a quick 360 turn around to see what they were referring to. Was the enemy invisible? Had it already left yet at Vanitas' command?

While these thoughts roamed his head, another disturbing thought entered his mind. He had just seen all the guest leave past him on their way to the room. The grand Duke had even shouted that for the guards to make sure everyone was out. If that was the case., why was there still music? Surely the band was gone...
"Where's the music coming from?" he hesitantly asked. He jerked his head upward in time to see that the violin was now cut off. A second of peace was heard before a trumpet, drums, and violin floated from above the royal viewpoint above. The instruments had emerged from the royal seating area just below where the keyhole was sealed.

The instruments haunted the group as it began to circle them while still playing their lamented tune. An explosion of darkness appeared in front of the ballroom doors, causing them to shut, virtually trapping them inside. The explosion cleared to reveal a large symphony instructing unversed. It resembled a marching band instructor and even had it's own baton to control the instruments. Darkness began to surround it as it chaotically waved the baton around, beckoning the instruments to his side.

    Meanwhile, in the forest...

The group decreased down to eight, as they glided alongside Cinderella back home. Slowly, her dress and the pumpkin were beginning to revert back to their previous forms, before the fairy godmother worked her magic. With four in the front and four in the back, they were safely securing her withing a circular radius, covering north, east, south, west, and the four direction in between.

Alongside the carriage, came another that passed at an alarming rate.Cinderella tried to hide her face in recognizing that it belonged to Lady Tremaine. As the carriage caught up alongside it, Lady Tremaine and her daughter could be seen in a slow peripheral vision. Her stepmother had a wicked smile on her face, which never meant anything good. She looked straight ahead across from her daughters, not even acknowledging the odd sight of the keygliders beside her. As her daughters bickered bout the prince, she simply smiled as the carriage pulled a full throttle forward, passing the group.

Cinderella sighed, but to make matters worse, another encounter occurred. As the group passed the first half of the forest, a magical barrier forged itself, causing Raisor, Eon, Beuce, and Shapur to crash into it, while the other four were still gliding Cinderella on the other side. The group of four was now locked into a forest zone with nothing they could do about it, and to make matters worse, a dark eruption sprung from the ground as an unversed showed itself...

Raisor kept going forward on his keyblade glider, trying to keep the masked boy from getting in their way. As they tried to enlarge the distance between the masked boy and them, he saw another carriage pass by. Inside it was an old lady, who Raisor found somewhat disgusting, since he could easily tell she was one of those people that thought she was above others and could do anything she wanted, and two other ugly girls, and this time he meant that one literally. They passed right by and just after a barrier formed right in front of them.

He tried to stop, but He, Eon, and two others ended up slamming into the barrier. It had formed so suddenly that they didn't have time to react. He got off his keyblade glider and noticed the other four taking the girl around, while the other three inside the barrier steadied themselves as well. Just then a new enemy appeared before them; a giant, thorny pumpkin, with a strange insignia on it that Raisor had never seen before. He knew it wasn't going to be easy, but he formed his keyblade and got ready for a fight.

Eon ran forward. He knew some of the others were left behind but now wasn't the time to look back. He had to keep moving forward into the fight ahead. At least Raisor and Glen were with him on the charge. As he ran, he witnessed the change of everything around him. Riches turned into dust, life turned into death, beauty turned into disgust: the world was reverting to what Eon believed to be its original state. Magic must have aided in this.

It then came to the point where he and three others smacked face first into a magical barrier. As he thought, magic was responsible. He hated magic to death. It was the reason for his birthplace, for why his parents were forced into the Asylum. Then the next threat came, an Unversed sprout from the ground like a pumpkin. Another boss fight was ahead of them. Luckily, Raisor was with them, he knew Raisor was one of the strongest people he had seen. This fight was surely in their hands. The other two he knew nothing about and had to put blind faith in them. Surely they could be trusted if they had Keyblades.

One question though, what is an Unversed? Eon was so used to fighting the Heartless he had never seen such an enemy. He even recalled beings called Nobodies back in his days locked up but Unversed were never mentioned. He prayed they were weaker than the Heartless threat.

He needed to introduce himself to the others. "Hey, the name is Eon, I am a Guardian of the Keyblade. Lets work together to defeat this enemy quickly and catch up to the others." He said with confidence. Hopefully they took him seriously. He was 12 after all.

Beuce smacked into the barrier rather un-gracefully. His face was pressed up against the invisible wall for those ahead to see as he gradually slid down, missing the other carriage go by. "Ow." He said simply. He was glad he'd boosted his defense, or else that would've been even less pleasant. He steadied himself to his feet and turned around to see their new opponent. It was a large pumpkin-like creature, covered in thorns. "Wouldn't wanna get stuck by him..." He said to himself, shortly before the child introduced himself. He turned his head to the one referring to himself as "the guardian of the keyblade." He had to admit, it was a cool title. And he probably picked it due to his ungodly defense stat.

"Hey kid, nice to make your acquaintance." Beuce said with a bow. He didn't even know what acquaintance meant, but he saw it on tv somewhere and always wanted to do it. "The name's Beuce. People call me the Crimson Scourge." He said, making up a title on the spot. No one really called him that, but it would be cool if they did. so he decided to try it out and see how it caught on. It was only now he noticed he didn't know what kind of enemy they were facing. So naturally doing what one would when in search of information, he googled it. "Let's see...take picture...search by image...click result..." He muttered under his breath to himself. "Ah! There we go. It's called the cursed coach apparently. 'least that's what it's wiki page says." In any case, they were going to have to fight it. Beuce didn't take it too seriously, as he never did. He summoned Ferris Gear in hopes Krowley had let him equip it between missions and prepared himself to face down the enemy.

Steel knew Krowley had not answered his question, but he decided to give him awhile to mull it over; even if it was more important then the Musical Menace twice his size staring down at him and the others. He decided to guard to ensure that it would do little damage to him. "If Tyson were here, he would kick your but a whole lot more than six feet under." It wasn't hard for the circling instruments to remind him of his red eyed friend; Tyson loved Music.

Luna went in front of Cinderella's carriage. "Since we have no time for introductions, the name's Luna Kiatespira! Two of you, go on one side of the carriage and one goes on the other side. One of you guys guard the back of the carriage!" She looked at the other three who were to guard Cinderella's carriage. She looked frontwards once more.

    ~MISSION START~

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The group of four pressed on in efforts to get Cinderella home in time. With each sidewinder, the carriage's original pumpkin form began to give shape. Cinderella too, was also reverting back to her tattered dress. While Luna made her commands, the carriage had finally hitten it's breaking point, to where the wheels had evaporated. The carriage had thankfully reached the residence in time though.

As the pumpkin broke into distorted pieces of broken vegetable, Cinderella had stepped out seconds early to avoid it collapsing on her. The dream was now over, and the returned forms of her dress had confirmed it. The pink rags she was left in had returned, and to make matters worse, she spotted her stepmother's carriage out front. Her family was already home.

The young woman gave a gulp and swallowed her pride. Perhaps they hadn't known of her earlier venture. Maybe she wasn't in trouble. Regardless, she was going to have to face them anyways. With a heavy heart, she passed the four and nodded her head. She had no idea of Vanitas and the precautions they took, but they helped her get their and back, and for that, she was grateful. "I-I'm sorry. I just forgot about everything... even the time. But it was so wonderful. and he was so handsome, and when we danced-" Cinderella was now simply reflecting on all the good that happened tonight instead of the bad. "I'm sure the prince himself couldn't have been more... more..." she gave a small chuckle. "Oh well, it's over," she looked down to her feet and realized that the glass slippers she wore were still intact. Well, at least one of them, since the other had been left back at the castle. "Thank you.. For all you've done," she finished off.

She stepped through her front door, and returned to her routine life leaving the group outside. What were they to do now? As if on queue, twinkles of light began to surround them, meaning the Fairy Godmother was to make her appearance. And soon enough, their she appeared, out of thin air.

Kel looked at the strange enemy in front of them. It was unique to say the least, especially with all the instruments floating around it. It was for that exact reason that he didn't rush in and attack like he normally would, instead he place his keyblade in front of him in a defense position. He figured that that would be good enough for now. His eyes carefully scanned the enemy, looking for any future problem, weak points or anything like that. If he's learn anything from fighting the Guard Armor back in Nottingham, multiple part to an enemy could be a real problem, especially when they defend the main body.
