Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Base, in the face of abstract, could nothing better than to suggest the illogical. "I know what,the rabbit said." That was another thing: the talking part hadn't startled him as much as the waistcoat and Livingston. He was quite sure he had never seen a rabbit with a waistcoat poet, nor a pocketwatch to take out from one. "The food here has odd properties, so food may be what has unsettled this person." He indicated towards the house. "It may also be what may settle or resettle this person, if we are to believe this is a person at all; as opposed to it being a monster of any kind." His eyes went over to the garden. "For starters, I say we try the carrots."

It was not long before Base returned to the group with green-stemmed, crispy carrots in hand. "Worst case scenario, we send a lizard down the chimney." Unfortunately, Base didn't know why he said such a ridiculous thing, just that it seemed to fit.

 

As Ananta was taking out the last guard, Steel walked toward the open window. He looked outside to see if this was the right window: Which indeed it was. He mischievously smiled as he calculated the exact distance in his head. Ananta spoke and Steel realized her voice was laced with pain. He turned around and saw her bleeding side. "You Should at least get that wrapped up first." He said to her. "...Oh, and you also might not wanna take the same exit as me." He chuckled as he climbed upon the window sill. "I was serious when I told Kuzco I would jump." ...And so he did. As he plummeted toward the ground with his cape swirling behind him he began to dodge the various decorations that were strewn about the sides of the palace. He flipped spun and kicked off the walls to avoid the obstacles that hurtled toward him at a break neck pace. After a brief while, he began to prepare for his landing. When he reached the bottom: his metal boots collided with the concrete in a shattering Thud that could be heard at the palace doors... which he was 100 feet away from. He stood straight and dusted himself off at the bottom of the steps that had taken so long to climb. He looked down at his feet to see the concrete broken into many small pieces. "That should be enough showing off for now." He speculated. "I'll wait for them at the edge of the forest." So he began to walk in that direction.

 

The head soldier had come out and told everyone to shape up. Hopefully Ping was out of trouble, otherwise she and Karina's actions would be in vain.

They started singing about the Huns attacking, and Flora joined in on the training. It was a good way to get herself shaped up and prepared. It was only about three minutes, but she felt great and a bit stronger, ready to take on anything.

Suddenly, monsters.

"Well, there goes the song."
"So what do you guys say we take these guys out?"

Flora smiled at Karina. "I agree." Then she threw herself and started attacking. She sliced up and down, not stopping for anything. Flora wouldn't be totally useless anymore.

 

Raisor watched as the group kept on fighting. He figured they'd probably be at it till night, but then a loud, commanding voice yelled at all of them. They formed into a line, and Raisor walked back in as well, just behind Mulan, which really just put him at the back of the line.
As the captain of the army walked over to them, Raisor took a glance at him. The guy held himself highly, walking with pride, and stared at each of the soldiers. Raisor knew he was making sure each of them were in line. As soon as he finished, he went back in front of them and began talking about how they would each train hard.
"If only they knew what we went through," Raisor mumbled under his breath, making sure no one else heard him. He was sure that most of these guys, if not all, would panic the moment a heartless showed up.
Then, just as he thought it, another soldier came yelling about monsters. Raisor looked up toward the soldier and noticed heartless appearing behind him.
"Dang, is that supposed to be irony, karma, or just plain bad luck?" He didn't bother to figure it out as Karina and Flora went forward already, attacking all of the heartless. He figured he shouldn't leave all of the fun for them and went in with his own keyblade. He passed the Three Stooges and kind of figured that they wouldn't do much to help.

 

Etrius watched the group silently. He was bored with the entire mission and therefor never really participated. After all the guards were taken out, Etrius got off the wall he was leaning and asked the entire group, "Now that we're all quite done here, can we go and figure why Kuzco would do something like this? I'll save my energy for the real reason to fight."

 

Eon was breathing heavy from all the fighting. His legs hit the ground next to Ananta who was bleeding badly. 'Ana, are you okay?" He asked knowing the answer already. He cast cure hoping it would heal her some. "We need to go... before more guards show up. Come on." He said. He didn't want to rush her to much, but it was evident that more guards would come and defeat them if they didn't move quickly. A nice talk to Kuzco seemed fitting enough. He began to head off in that direction with the others.

 

Looking at Eon with his concerned, she nodded. "Thanks for the cure, but I think I need a seamstress to fix my clothes now." she chuckled. She hurt a little, but the cure did make her injury stop bleeding. Though it was still sore. Ananta began to walk down the long staircase, noticing a considerably small amount of guards outside now. Wondering where they all were, she had a realization. "Wait, if we defeated all those guards in there, that means this place is defenseless? What kind of emperor would do something as dumb as that!" she joked, seeing that everyone might need a good life considering all that happened. Catching up to Eon, she pulled him a bit close. "Now, I don't want you doing that again, okay?" she said in a caring yet concerned tone. "You and Steel both do this, but he is older and therefore can control it better, you are young so I don't want you hurting yourself."

 

Glen ceased fighting the moment the captain stepped out, much to his dislike. He didn't join in on the singing, partially because of his lack of knowledge on the lyrics of the song, but mostly because of the fact that it seemed, to put it simply, very...weird. What kind of soldiers started singing while they were at war? The world just kept seeming to get weirder and weirder with each passing moment.

It was then that someone yelled out monsters, and as they did so he saw several heartless appeared. Glen couldn't help but show a savage grin as he summoned his keyblade in hand. "Now there's something i'm familiar with!" he exclaimed as he rushed forward and swung at one of them.

 

Cat remained fairly silent; she'd already thrown her two cents in, though she couldn't help but give Etrius a look since he hadn't done much, if anything, to help them out during that little brawl. She saw that Steel was gone from the room and assumed that he'd exited the palace ahead of them. Either way, he'd be back with them soon enough. As everyone started walking out, she followed close behind, grabbing at her forearm. She looked down and noticed that the white sleeve of her jacket was a bit torn, along with the skin underneath; it wasn't too bad of a scrape -- the worst thing was going to be the discomfort -- and she continued to move forward.

 

Kel probably would've continued to fight if it wasn't for the general calling a cease to all of it. At least now he knew who was in charge of this whole army, which was a good thing if he could control the chaos. Maybe this whole army thing wouldn't be so boring after all. Hearing the commander walk around and give his opinions about them, Kel couldn't help but chuckle. While he would give him pale, he was definitely not spineless not pathetic. If only there was some was to prove myself. Even though that was sarcasm, but the sudden appearance of heartless made his point. "Let's get this over with." Summoning his keyblade, he charged towards the heartless.

 

Etrius watched as Kronk sneaked away. He immediately wondered what was in the sack and where it was going. He then suddenly remembered that Kuzco left to do something..Etrius' eyes started to narrow. Could Kronk have killed Kuzco? No. The guy seemed too....happy-go-lucky, not to mention absent-minded. He then suddenly remembered the old woman, Ymza. From what Etrius could suspect, Yzma might've worked for Kuzco. Had he layed her off her own job, whatever it was?
If that was the case, Yzma might've been so pissed, she might've ordered Kronk to do her dirty work.

He tapped Cat on the shoulder and said, "We have a suspcious stowaway with a heavy burlap sack. Maybe related to where Kuzco went, but im not making any assumptions till we investigate."

 

Steel watched from a tree as kronk ran by. "There they go." He said to himself. After Kronk went far enough ahead, He jumped down and began to follow. "The others will catch up in no time." He thought.

 

She first heard somebody making their own theme music. To her surprise, it was Kronk. And he had a large sack? Curious, she stepped towards where he was going. Ahead, she saw Steel following Kronk. Turning to Etrius, she nodded in agreement. "We should follow him, maybe find out what's going on?" she winced a bit, the gash in her side was annoying, but it didn't impede her walking skills at all. She'll be able to remove her hand in no time.

 

As they walked along, they saw Kronk trying to sneak around with some sort of sack slung over his shoulder. It almost seemed like he was humming some sort of theme song as he went, and it seemed pretty adorkable at first, but when he mentioned having to "take him out of town" and "finish the job," she got a bit suspicious. Etrius tapped on her shoulder and pointed out that there might be a correlation with Kuzco, and she silently acknowledged the possibility. It might've been a stretch given his status as emperor, but after having seen Yzma's temper -- even if it was only for a brief moment -- she figured Kronk might be too good to the wrong crowd.

Ananta chimed in, mentioning that they should follow him, and Cat nodded, still holding her arm. As he went across the bridge and towards the village, she did her best to be subtle about staying close behind him, continuing to go over their, er, unique predicament in her head.

 

Glen parried a kick from one of the soldier heartless. Soldier heartless weren't particularly tough on their own, he knew, but when they were in large numbers they became formiddable foes. Swinging his keyblade horizontally at the heartless, the heartless was dispatched in one fell blow. He turned to notice that others seemed to be fighting hard, so there was absolutely no way that he was going to slow down. Couldn't let himself be shown up by the others, after all. He leaped over to another soldier heartless and engaged in combat with it.

 

Eon followed behind the group, trailing Kronk. The mountains seemed to go on and on. It amazed him that people actually managed to scale these and live on them. It was a feat for sure. The main city in its self was a large accomplishment to such a primitive culture. He carried on making sure Kronk did not notice him.

 

Luna watched as Alice shrink down to normal size. As she walked down to the bottom floor, she looked at the peculiar vegetables and put it down gently. "Never thought I'd say this but, I'd better watch what I eat now." Luna shrugged at the sound of saying that sentence. She never liked the thought of changing the way she looks because she only thought about herself on the inside. Luna walked outside and sighed to herself quietly as she waited for Krowley, Base, and Alice to come outside.
