Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Raisor listened as Mushu told them about their plan to go against Shan-Yu. A small part of him felt like they should tell others, since there was no way someone like this Shan-Yu fellow would go anywhere alone, but he also wanted to go himself. If this guy was really as bad as they say, maybe Raisor could get a challenge out of him. So far he's fought a pumpkin carriage, a rat, and a deer. He was ready to fight someone for real, and this guy was supposed to be a great swordsmen or whatever. Raisor wanted to test himself against someone who knew what they were doing in a fight, instead of a random enemy that came from darkness, or acting on animal instincts.
"Well, if we know where he is, let's go in there now and knock him down. I'm ready to get this over with." Raisor walked ahead of the group and out the village, looking forward to what was waiting for them.
He finally felt like he was getting back his fighting spirit. Maybe all he needed was someone to push him, or make him fight hard enough. He kind of wished he could go against this guy alone, but the only thing that he knew would keep that from happening is the fact that they already met some heartless, so he was sure Shan-Yu was going to have some connection to darkness.

 

While Mushu went ahead and explained their next course of action. Kel couldn't help but think about the current situation a little more. Sure a shady figure was pretty suspicious, especially in this current situation. Why would a leader risk sneaking around the enemy base, it would make more sense to send a scout or something. Besides, if he was really all that powerful as they made him out to be, he could've just attacked them right then. Something didn't feel right, but he couldn't just stand there and be indecisive. Instead he made his way towards the cave.

 

"Hopeless? Please Mushu, you'd be lost and or eaten without any of us here." Flora grumbled as she followed.

"Wait... Why's Shan-Yu in a cave? Alone of all things? Shouldn't he have sent a scout? Mushu I swear, if you get us busted I'm making Dragon Soup for dinner tonight." She sighed and stopped, then wiped her brow. All this walking was getting tiresome. She turned to look back at Karina, who was sticking back. Flora waited until she could be seen then gave Karina a friendly wave that would say 'Hello!'. Once that was done, Flora continued on her way, afraid she'd get a Keyblade to the head.

 

Steel was about to take Etrius up on his offer when Panchito, Donald, and Jose jumped out of the bushes. Steel was completely silent as Kuzco did a monologue about how much the party talked. He briefly smiled as Kuzco was thrown in a sac and kicked. He summoned his keyblade and wondered about how he could do this. He had Learned the spell to summon the three of them a long time ago, but he had never used it... Which is likely why the didn't recognize him. However, that didn't mean he had no spell... What would happen if he tried to summon them now? Would they just move to a slightly different position? Would some strange space/time distortion occur causing two sets of the caballeros to exist at once? Or would the presence of the three merely proceed to boost His critical hit rate... as he attacked them. Steel Smirked at the thought.
It was then that panchito began to shoot at him. He blocked each of the bullets as they came, spun his keyblade in front of hiself to deflect a few more, and sliced the last one in two. As this strategy was determinant upon his speed stat, he was pretty sure it wasn't god-modding. Donald aimed a fire spell at his side. He held out his hand and cast his own fire spell, which blast through donalds and went for Jose. Jose, however, used his magic umbrella to deflect the spell. It was then that a horrible realization dawned upon Steel. "The Magus Sisters!" He exclaimed within his mind. "Except... their boys... and birds.... Magus Caballeros?" Whatever, the point was that the Delta attack would be dangerous. He addressed the group.
"We need to split our focus so that at least on of us is attacking each." He said to them. "Try to focus as much power as possible on Donald and Panchito." He then charged at Panchito with several rapid thrust.

 

Cat saw Eon pull at her sleeve and smiled at him, though she knew Kuzco hadn't had a change of heart. When the llama told them to essentially shut up and walk, she was about to chew him out. Before she was able, however, they encountered three anthropomorphic birds -- apparently named Panchito, Jose and Donald. They asked for Kuzco and mentioned that they were working for Yzma, which means that Kronk was supposed to kill Kuzco earlier. The green one, Jose, startled him with an umbrella and shoved him into the bag. Cat would be laughing if she didn't need to keep a straight face. She grinned slightly and after their apparent battle cry, her grin grew and she summoned her Keyblade. "¿Quieres luchar? Bueno, es tu funeral." She couldn't help but show off. She'd learned her fair share of Spanish at school, and if they were going to try and intimidate them, she figured it'd be best to show that they weren't pushovers. Donald cast a thunder spell, and she jumped out of the way of an incoming bolt. She ran in a line, waiting for the spell to finish, and heard Steel mention that they should focus on taking out Donald and Panchito. She figured magic would cause the most trouble in this fight, so she ran around behind Donald and cast Fire. He shouted and turned to her, now really upset, and she got ready to run again.

 

Soon after tugging on Cat, Eon was dragged away by Ananta... again. She appeared to be very motherly around him and Eon wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that. He lost one mothers, would he really be able to accept her in that kind of way with the risk of danger inflicting them every waking moment. He didn't want to think about it any more. If it got to the point of true worry or annoyance, he'd mention something.

Kuzco was thrown into a bag. That seems to be a popular thing to do with him. The opponents that did this however gave Eon shock. The 3 Caballeroes. Eon usually was the one to summon them in every battle they have taken place in where it was necessary. Maybe they would recognize him. Eon released himself from Ananta's grip. "Jose, Donald, Panchito: Don't you guys recognize me? Please stop what you are doing!" He yelled as he blocked the bullets being fired at him. He wouldn't fight back. They were his friends and the last thing he wanted was to hurt his friends.

 

Ananta stopped in her tracks when she saw the three...birds? Grab Kuzco and put him in a bag. They all seemed to be full of energy, at least, but they're trying to steal Kuzco for whatever they're trying to do. She summoned her keyblade in a firey manner and she stood ready. One bird shot bullets at the group. She dodged a bit, blocking the ones she couldn't dodge. Watching each of them, she saw Steel rush for the gun toting bird. The other one in blue clothing was readying some sort of magic. Knowing that, whatever it was, she couldn't let it get them. Rushing towards the duck, she got close enough to swing at him and spin around, trying to slash him more.

 

Etrius came flying in past Eon with a Sliding Dash. He had heard the victory call. And they had captured Kuzco. Normally, Etrius would not give a crap and would rather see Kuzco be hauled off, but He had a mission. He rammed Donald and Jose in a cloud of darkness.
"No one will be bagging this llama. If anyone is going to to be beating on his skull later, it's gonna be me!" Etrius growled.
Etrius did a Poison Edge on Donald, causing him to stumble, splitting him from Jose a little farther. Divide and conquer. That was his strategy.

 

Cat saw Ananta take a slash at Donald, which seemed to divert his attention, so she ran up to him and decided to take her own shot at carving the bird. She gripped her Keyblade tight and held it beside her as she approached him; when she was close enough, she swung it horizontally and used the momentum from her swing to bring it back up and slash down for a combo. She heard bullets being fired and tried her best to stay out of Panchito's way, knowing that Steel, who was undoubtedly more experienced, was taking care of him. Donald was getting restless and used his staff as a blunt weapon. He swung at her, but she deflected his blow and he stumbled back a bit. Cat took the opportunity and jumped in the air, bringing her Keyblade up above her head. Before she could land, Jose protected Donald with his umbrella and she bounced right off. She landed flat on her back but did her best to get back on her feet quickly. She was starting to feel a bit tired, but she wasn't going to give up so easily. Donald cast Blizzard in her direction, and she sidestepped out of the line of fire -- or ice, in this case. She was going to try and stay on the defensive until she felt a little less winded. Her breathing got heavier, but she still managed to evade the spells Donald sent her way.

Suddenly, Etrius surrounded the white and green caballeros in a dark cloud and shouted his retort to the battling birds. She grinned again and took the chance to hit Panchito with another ball of fire.

 

As the others fought off Donald and Jose, Steel and Panchito were dueling. Every time Panchito shot at him, he would block or deflect the fire. In return, every time Steel could get close enough to slash at him, Panchito would jump farther away. Steel wished he could use his own handgun: It would make this game of cat and mouse much simpler. He was extremely grateful when a fireball took his opponent by surprise, giving him a quick opportunity to slash at him, sending Panchito sprawling back. With a nod toward Cat, he used the opportunity to cast stop in the general vicinity of Donald and Jose, hoping to slow them down while they couldn't counter. He then turned his attention back to Panchito. "Shall we dance?"

 

"So we capture the big bad guy, get recognition for it, Ping gets honour or whatever, and we get to leave? Sounds good to me" Glen said. He followed behind the group, hoping that he could at last fight someone he saw as worthwhile. He needed a way to test his strength, and what better way than to take on what was supposedly the strongest guy in that world? Glen certainly couldn't think of one.

As they headed towards a cave, an idea sprung into his mind. "Are you sure that it's actually him in the cave? I mean, have you ever even seen the guy Mushu?" he asked, continuing to walk and keep up with the rest of the party.

 

Beuce casually approached the small house, looking around at the place. Despite the protests of the two, the first thing Beuce did was plop down in a chair and help himself to the table's contents. A slice of the cake was his first order of business. It didn't make him grow, but it was pleasant on the taste buds. "Sweet."But after taking a sip of the tea he was served, his expression changed to that of a disappointed one. "Aw. No sugar. not sweet..." He sighed, then turned his attention to the hatter and hare. Odd pair they were. Apparently gay marriage wasn't illegal in wonderland. However that was none of his concern. "Okay, we're looking for a white rabbit for some reason. Some deranged cat with fur that hurt my eyes sent us here...kind of. Know anything about this rabbit?" He asked the duo straightforwardly in his usual cocky and nonchalant voice.

To be honest, all the pink was getting to him. He wanted to minimize their time in that world. Despite its similarity to red (his favorite color), Beuce hated pink. For the sole reason that it reminded him nothing of the hunt. Now what the hunt was or why he needed to be reminded of it was a complete mystery to the fellow, just that pink reminded him nothing of it and that was displeasing. He leaned back in his chair, waiting for an answer. Not much he could do without one.

 

Cat was about ready to collapse. She tripped over a rock and tried her best to recover quickly. When she got up, however, she didn't hear Donald yelling out spells -- or even just yelling in general. They'd been frozen, and though she couldn't exactly tell who'd done it, she was grateful. She ran as fast as she could towards Donald and whacked him clean on the head before pulling the oddly-shaped staff from his hand. She moved a few feet away and threw it down into the river below, hoping that his lack of a conduit would hinder his ability to use spells against the whole group. With that done, she went back to her original position and took a breather.

 

Etrius rolled away from some shots done by Panchito, and tripped Jose with his Keyblade. He continued releasing darkness, his eyes red and animalistic. His skin had already taken a darkish tint, preforming Sliding Dashes and Poison Edges again and again, switching targets again and again. An occasional Fire or Thunder spell would hit him, but Etrius could care less as he recycled anger and exhilaration.
He noticed that Cat had taken a break, and rushed over to check her out.
"You a'ight?" Etrius asked, his voice noticeably different. "If you need a potion, I have a spare that you may use."

 

Cat looked over and saw Etrius, whose whole appearance seemed to be... darker. He offered her a potion and she nodded. "Yeah, I'd appreciate it." Before he could give it to her, however, the spell wore off and Donald, angry that his wand was gone, began casting more Thunder spells. Cat hopped to the side to avoid a bolt and held her Keyblade up to defend against what she was too tired to dodge. "That damn duck's timing, I swear..." At this rate, she wouldn't last much longer.

 

Ananta looked and watched Etrius beginning to grow rather dark...which started to scare her. She didn't want another team mate to start using darkness and lose his mind just about. Standing back, she watched Donald become unfrozen, getting angry and casting Thunder at everyone. Holding her ground and blocking a bolt of Thunder, she swung her keyblade towards Donald and rushed towards him. At the top of her lungs, she screamed, "FREEZE!" towards Donald, shooting a blast of Blizzard towards the duck. Her intentions were to freeze him and give him a few whacks before he was able to unfreeze.

She did just that, watching as he stopped in the midst of a Thunder spell. Twirling her keyblade in place, she then struck Donald in the head. This was the blow she thought would finally knock the duck out and allow her to focus on the others.

 

In the entrance of the cave, the first thing Glen noticed was that it was a little dark. He didn't like it. He wasn't afraid of the dark in the slightest, but it meant that if Shan Yu was in the cave, then he could probably get the jump on them. He needed to make sure everyone grouped up, for safety's sake. Glen turned around as he walked. He was about to go over and ask Karina to group up a little more, but he stopped as he noticed a small shape whizzing past Karina's feet. Karina jumped a little but made no sound, but if the others saw what it was would they react the same way or make a noise giving them away?

He decided he would grab the mouse and set it moving in a different path. He quietly knelt down on the ground. He then attempted to scoop up the small mouse in his hands, which he succeeded in. "Hey there little guy, easy does it" he said quietly. Suddenly an intense pain shot through his hands; the mouse had bitten him. He dropped it on the ground as he cursed loudly, removing all possibility of entering the cave quietly. "IT BIT ME!" he yelled out. He summoned his keyblade and stabbed at the ground, but the mouse was quicker than it looked, dodging the strike easily. He stabbed again at it, but once more the mouse dodged. He changed his tactic, swinging his keyblade like you would a golf club, and he hit the mouse sending it flying out of the cave at high speed. "Bloody rodent" he muttered, as he turned around and continued walking as though nothing had happened.
