Karina followed Mulan's lead and bowed as the emperor approached before taking a step back while he spoke to Mulan. A frown crossed Karina's face as the emperor when on about all she had done wrong. Karina so desperately wanted to run up and punch him in the face telling him how he was wrong about what he was saying. It was something she always.wished she could do to her father, punch him. Her words never got through to him, so it she could only have done something more. Her thought stopped however when the emperors tone changes. He thanked Mulan for saving China. And how she would bring honor to her entire family. Then Shang began to speak, everyone was so interested in that part of it but Karina could care less.

Karina walked past Glen down the steps "Why don't you see for yourself." She said in an angry tone that she was famous for. Little did most,people know was that her anger was just a mask. She used anger to prevent people from seeing her sadness she was really feeling. Her longing to be worth while, to be like Mulan. Karina reached the bottom of the steps. She wasn't sure what now, perhaps it was time to return to the land of departure. She stood at the bottom of the steps lost the only reason she went their was to get away from the east kg the group. Karina didn't want to be around them at the moment.

 

"Come on sir! Just be honest with her! You can do it." Flora encouraged.
"Whoa, watch it soldier," Shang insisted. Some of the others had begun to grow relentless not truly caring anything that happened outside their main objective. Mulan noticed such after her small flirtatious moment. She grew serious once more and looked to the emperor if he knew anything. "Your majesty, I was wondering if you knew the whereabouts of something called a 'Keyhole.' My friends have been looking for it."
The emperor raised an eyebrow. "Keyhole, you say? Wouldn't your family guardian know about that?"
Mulan was stunned. How did he know about Mushu, and furthermore, how come Mushu didn't tell her anything.
"Don't be so surprised. It is part of the imperial duty to trace many of China's ancestral heritage. That includes spirits and guardians alike, isn't that right Mushu?" Sliding out from behind Mulan, Mushu gave a weak smile and began to come up with an excuse. "Oh, well... yeah. But after all the logistical stuff and uh... spiritual timing and uh... you know, just guardian stuff it really couldn't be helped.
"You know all this time?!" Mulan burst out.
"Well of course I knew, girl! What kind of dragon doesn't know about the world he's roamed for years and years! I only kept it from YOU because we needed they help. And knowing you, you woulda just gone and blabbed your little girly mouth and missed out on one hell of a friendship making, honor restoring, hun slaying adventure."
Mulan did not look amused. "Mushu... tell them where it is now," she sternly ordered.
"Alright, alright. Try and do one thing right and the world hates your for it." The small dragon cleared his throat. "The keyhole is located in the heart of China, also known as the heart of the people. And where are the most people in China?" Mushu presented his hands onto the crowd.
"The imperial square?" Shang asked.
"Uh-huh. One giant keyhole underneath all them Chinese folks."

Yzma held tightly as her machine went violently out of control. Erratically twitching, it flung her back and forth, while springs and cogs bounced out it. Kuzco watched as she went back and forth, his eyes closely following as if it were a tennis match.
"WAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" She yelled, being spun around until the machine's innards could take no more and forcively ejected her, followed by a single potion she hadn't launched. Everyone watch as she came crashing back down, along with the delicate vile that broke on top of her as she landed. A giant, pruple puff of smoke formed as a deep evil laugh began to surface.
"Hehehehehe. HAHAHAHAHA!" A fierce shadow could be seen inside the smoke, with hollow eyes and sharp fangs growing ever larger and larger, not knowing what monstrous creature Yzma had turned into. They would only wait for seconds as the smoke cleared to reveal Yzma had transformed herself into a small grey cat, that stood no higher than a foot. Maybe a foot and a half...

"Meow..." the cat uttered. Kuzco covered his llama lips to prevent himself from bursting out load. "Hah! Now you've got to tell us where the potions are because your just an itty bitty cat now. Who's an itty bitty kitty? You are! You are!" Kuzco continued to mock her, now that she knew how it felt. Yzma merely growled and began to fling her sharp claws at him.
"I'll never tell you where the antidote is! Even if I-" She paused mid-rant. "Is that my voice?" She hacked from her now high pitched squirrel sounding voice, hoping it did not come with the form. "Is that MY VOICE?" The held her throat in disbelief, but realized there were more important matters at hand. "Oh well..."

 

Karina waited impatiently for the keyhole to be locked. As soon as that happened they could get out of this place. Go somewhere that wouldn't hit her so close to home. It was a bad choice to come here, if she stayed any longer her emotions might start interfering, and she preferred for it to simply appear she didn't have emotions. Without emotions she didn't have to talk of her home because no one knew anything was wrong with her home and she could finally get it out of her mind... Well most of it. She never wanted to forget her brother but everyone and everything else she wanted to get rid of. Karina stiffened up as she turned to the group and yelled up. "Just hurry it up!" In a rather angry tone.

 

Kitty Yzma growled as Cat inched closer with unlabeled vial contents. As diabolically delectable as this all was, Kuzco put down his plotting hooves in favor of showing a little kindness. The same kindness the three birds had shown him earlier, he would ignore his own wants and needs in favor of the right thing. Stepping forward, he wished to speak, but hesitated. Taking in a deep breath, he tried again. "Look, Yzma... this has been pretty rough on both of us. But if you tell me where the human vial is, I'll use it to turn you back to normal too. Deal?" He held out his hoof to a confused Yzma. "You would do that? After I tried to get rid of you?"
Kuzco humbly nodded.
Thinking for a moment, Yzma gave her answer. "Tell you what Kuzco. After deliberation I've decided that I'm still going to kill you. and here's how." With an evil smirk, she began to pace with her paws and go on. In unison, her vivid imagination showed her step by step plan as she explained. "I have locked away 2 human vials, which will fully return any human to their original state. The first vial, intended as a back up, I will pretend to give to you only to swipe away, blow a raspberry at you, and SMASH IT WITH A HAMMAH!
The second, I will drink. And once I return to my beautiful self, hehehe, I'll SMASH YOU WITH A HAMMAH!"
Her imagination ended as she cackled. "It's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! BWAHAHAAHAHA!!" In mid-laughter, Yzma was squashed by a large Kronk who had somehow ended up from falling through the floor, to falling from the ceiling.
"Wow... Who would've thought that tunnel slide would lead me all the way back up there?" Kronk looked around the room. "Uhh, what happened to Yzma?"
Kuzco blinked and tilted his head to Kronk's posterior, where Yzma remained mute and motionless.
For once, Kuzco was the one with the prolonged expression. "Uhhhh....." How could he bring that up delicately?
"Well, uh, before she get's back, I thought it was only fair, that you know she keeps the human antidotes in that cupboard." He pointed to an easily accessible cupboard with the words "Human Vials" in black marker.
"Wow, how did we not see that coming in?" Kuzco asked. As he walked up to the cabinet, Yzma arose from behind Kronk and charged ahead in a furious rage. Less than halfway to clawing at the llama, Panchito, Jose and Donald dogpiled on top of her from above.
"Wow, who would've thought that tunnel slide would lead us all the way back up there?" Panchito asked in a daze.
"Hah! I know, right?!" Kronk ecstatically yelled back.
Kuzco continued on with high intentions, still intending to return them both back to normal. "Relax Yzma, I know you're mad, and I still intend on getting us both back to normal. There's good somewhere in you."
"I'LL KILL YOU!" She muffled from beneath Donald.
"Well, we can always rehabilitate you or... something, I guess. I plan on being a better emperor, just you wait. Soon as I get both of these-" Kuzco stopped talking as he opened the cupboard. There was only one potion inside. Gasping for air beneath the duck, Yzma clawed her way out and smirked. You see Kuzco, no matter what you choose, I win. There's only enough potion in each vial for one transformation. Turn me back to normal, and... well if it hasn't been made clear already; I'LL KILL YOU! Turn yourself back to normal, and you will live with the torment of allowing another person to suffer as- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Kuzco had already drank the potion as Yzma was trying to guilt trip him. A flash of light flickered on his llama features, evaporating them all, and revealing him on all fours in human form once again. Looking at his human hands, the emperor quickly brushed himself off and stood upright.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, I figure since you're really good with this science stuff, you could just make an antidote or whatever if you want to be human again."
"That'll take me months!!"
""Well, that'll give you plenty of time to think about what a nasty you've been. Kronk buddy, you can look after her, right?"
Kronk revealed the most adorable smile as he picked up little Yzma and rubbed his face against her fur.
"Let go of me, you big monkey!"
"Aww, I'll take extra go care of her! Junior Chipmunk's honor!" Kronk tightly held Yzma and saluted.
"At ease buddy, just keep her out of trouble." He patted Kronk on the back and sent him off.
"Mark me words Kuzco, I will have my- HACK!" Kronk hugged her tightly once more before exiting the secret lab.
"Re... venge..." Yzma uttered out. She could barely make words anymore from being repeatedly crushed.
The three banditos got up and looked at the emperor.
"Hey hey, senor llama is now senor emperor! Congratulations amigo."

Beuce has sealed the world's keyhole, but that still left the exit out of this world a mystery. None of them used corridors of darkness, and the way Alice escaped was by waking up. The four of them weren't asleep, so what were there options? Unless of course they really were asleep? Krowley thought back to when he first entered the world, he recalled a flashing plain of grass before spiraling down the rabbit hole. If they were asleep, would they wake up in Alice's true world, or the Land of departure? He turned to the others to see what they would think. "I... I think we need to wake up..."

 

"Fine by me." Karina mumbled under her breath unsure why Glen thought she wanted to talk anyways. Was it not clear she didn't want to talk by the fact that she was avoiding the group? But then again Karina wasn't sure there wasn't something wrong inside Glens mind because apparently he thought it was a good idea to cast magic and make everyone float in the middle of the square. Karina sighed and rolled her eyes at him as she crossed her arms in disapproval. This was no time for petty magic tricks or to draw attention to their magic abilities.
