Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Stratos listened as Glen responded to his question and realized that Glen was kind of new here as well. Well that certainly made Stratos feel...less out odd about coming in so late. Turns out their were still people who were showing up out of the blue like himself. It was then that the both of them had heard Steel's yelling out to them. Stratos decided it'd be a good idea not to keep the man waiting any longer and so, after Glen had, Stratos started running up to where Steel was.

 

Etrius was shocked at Karina's snapping, considering she was talking to Eon so politely. Now, considering Etrius' current stress of finding the disturbance, and realizing that his powers have started to short out, and considering Kross's reaction toward when Etrius had first asked about Karina. Plus, it didn't seem like this girl was polite, yet she was polite to Eon?? Of all people.....
Whatever had Etrius thought completely reeled and blanked. His pupils suddenly vanished and his eyes boiled red. He suddenly pushed open the door wide above Karina's grasp. But he didn't attack her, he only glared. He then spoke, but he sounded different.
"First off, I never did anything to you, so you have no reason to be pissy." Etrius said. He didn't raise his voice, but his voice sounded too smooth, loathing even. "Second off, I am not your enemy nor your friend. I'm here to help save the worlds from being swallowed up, so we need to work together on this. Third off, even though you nor Eon felt any disturbance, I DID, and it was coming from here. It doesn't feel like a Heartless, but it isn't good either. Even if you hadn't felt it, at least cooperate." He then turned, left the room, and slammed the door, giving Karina nor Eon a chance to speak. As he looked back at Kross, Etrius' eyes were normal again. He took a deep breath, and said, "Lets keep looking."

 

Kross was surprised when Etrius opened the door to reveal Karina and Eon. He couldn't meet Karina's gaze, even when she saw the two. Her less-than-thawed welcome was frosty, but expected. He looked up abd saw Etrius, poised to strike but thankfully restrained himself. He hurried and grabbed on Etrius's arm, trying to pull him away."Etrius, forget about it, let's just go!"He shouted out, worried for the worst, he was powerless to stop the raging man. As Etrius finally relented, storming out of the room and Kross looked at the two, then lowered his head."I'm sorry, we'll leave."He said and turned, quickly going to Etrius and frowned at him."..Etrius, that wasn't necessary."He said.

 

Eventually Kel had left his room and started walking through the halls. During his walk, noticed Etrius and Kross leaving a room. From what he could tell, something had irritated Etrius. Curiosity overcame him as he went to the door himself. What I he saw in the room was something he wasn't expecting. "I see you ditched the girl for a little boy." Kel said, referring to how Flora had stayed close to Karina for part of thier trip the Land of Dragon.

 

"..Etrius, that wasn't necessary." Kross said. Etrius considered replying something, but nothing came, so he decided not to talk. he began to walk to the next room.
"I see you ditched the girl for a little boy."
Etrius groaned. He turned to see Kel walking up to him and Kross. Etrius had already been more-than-exasperated with Karina, the last thing he needed was more stress to build up. He instead chose to question Kel's motive rather than telling him to back off.
"What exactly is that supposed to mean?" Etrius asked, his voice tart.

 

Eon glared at Etrius the entire time he spoke. If he weren't a better person, a Keyblade would be up his stomach within moments. That person was just an irritation. Between innuendos and simple disturbances, he couldn't just keep things to himself that were meant not to be spoken whatsoever. "I really don't like that guy... sigh... yeah, lets go. If you get hungry, we can eat together."

 

Steel examined his surroundings as he waited for Stratos and Glen. He didn't really have much else to do. He observed the three thrones that the room centered around and wondered who they were for; clearly one was for the abducted Eraqus. This turned his mind to wondering about other things, things that he pondered in silence.

 

"Oh yeah." Cat couldn't help but smile. "I know how to make the best pasta you'll ever taste." She headed over to the kitchen, trying her best not to eavesdrop on any of the ongoing conversations. She pulled out a pot and set some water on the stove to boil. "So, uh. Anything you wanna talk about?" She tried her best to keep the conversation going, but it was still a bit... awkward.

 

Glen finally caught up to Steel, and came to a halt just a short distance away from the thrones themselves. He began searching around the room, examining the thrones themselves and even the walls. "If you're wondering what I'm doing" Glen called over his shoulder to Steel as he searched, "I'm trying to find something that Blaze might have dropped, something he may have unintentionally left behind" he explained. After a few more moments of searching, he realized there wasn't anything to be found there. "I mean, I don't know about you, but I'm curious to see this future he spoke about, maybe he forgot something that can get us there right?" Glen said, somewhat cheerfully.

 

"Nope. Nothing too particular that stands out..." Flora said. But... "Uh, what was your home like, if you don't mind me asking?"

 

Kross watched Etrius in silence, his eyes furrowed with concern, this was one of many reasons that he could not tutor Etrius on using the darkness. It defied everything he stood for, he was scared of the darkness, plus Etrius's temper, he didn't want to lose Etrius in the darkness but he wanted no part in teaching him how to control it. As he made conversation with Kel, Kross's eyes wandered to Karina's room, was she still angry over him disappearing? He felt his stomach tighten up and then rumble. He blinked and looked ahead."Oh..! I haven't eaten anything since I got back here.."He trailed off, putting a hand to his stomach.

 

Karina was very angry with everyone it seemed. Deep down though, Eon could tell she didn't really mean the things she said. It was just a cover to block out the blackness that tainted her true self. The tough guy act would eventually get the best of her, and when that time came, she needed a friend beside her. Eon would strive to be the friend. He didn't really know Kel so he choose to try and avoid him just for now. Eventually they may come together and things might be different between them.
He left alongside Karina to the Dining area. He thought about spoiling himself a little when it came to food. He had just turned 13 after all. "Perhaps something sugary... like chocolate cake..." he muttered to himself.

 

Tossing and turning in her bed, Luna, in the hands of dreams, saw something rather strange in her dreams. Luna was floating in a what seemed to be an abyss of darkness slowly coming toward her. "Luna....." A bright white light emerged from the shadows and made it's way toward Luna. "Luna........Luunnna.......you gotta wake up..." Luna started to open her eyes as she was blinded by the light. "W- Who's there?" Luna called out to the light. "Luna, you must hurry! Time is slowly descending and you must free her!" The darkness crept in behind the light as it spoke. "What do you mean "free" her? What's going on? Who are you?" Luna tried to reach out toward the light but it crept back into the shadows slowly. "All will be reveal when the time is right but you must free her heart and immerse her back into the light before it is too late." The light was slowly fading away into the shadows. Luna continued to reach out toward the light. "Wait! Who's heart are you talking about!?!?" Luna shouted toward the light. "The heart of the dark warmongress! You must free the dark warmongress' heart!!!" The light faded away as Luna continued to reach toward it. "Come back!! Don't go!!" In the next moment , Luna woke up in her room, sitting up straight with her arm reaching out toward nothing. "Come back!!" Luna sat there for a brief moment before grabbing her head into her hands. She sat pondering what kind of dream or nightmare perhaps that was that had appeared before her. "Just what the hell is going on!?"
Luna put on her shoes as she made her way toward the door. She reached for the doorknob as she took another step toward the door. She stopped in her tracks as she grabbed her shoulder. "The more I think about it, the pain continues to grow............Snow White, forgive me for startling you. I never meant for that to happen...." Luna reminisced the events that occurred in the Dwarf Woodlands. She looked at her hands and slowly turned them into fists. "I let my anger get the best of me and let the warmongress' heart show. I won't let that happen again....." She quietly whispered the remaining part of her sentence, "I swear on my title of Princess of Celestial City". She turned the doorknob and started to head outside heading toward the mountain path of the area.

 

With a simple shrug, he followed behind Karina and Eon. He'd gotten his fun for the day and had little intention of teasing, nor spreading this around like some little school girl. If anyone else wanted to joke about this, they could see it and do it for themselves. Upon getting to the kitchen he grabbed himself something simple, a sandwich to be exact, and sat down along with Karina and Eon.

 

"Oh. Well, uh, it isn't all that interesting to be honest." The question had caught her off guard for sure, but she didn't particularly feel like talking about home anyway. "It's just a boring city full of skyscrapers." She saw the water boiling and poured the fettuccine into the pot. Her stomach growled and she sighed, both from the nostalgia and from the hunger.

 

Steel had an epiphany. He might just have had something to help Glen. "Well..." He stopped. Was this allowed? While it was true the order's rules didn't apply to him, but it likely did apply to Glen. Finding the original timeline Blaze was from could have consequences, even if they didn't actually go there. He decided he would gather more information before he made any contributions. "...Allow me to analyze that matter further for the time being; i'll get back to you on it later." He turned to face him. "I wonder though; where did Master Eraqus disappear to? Was he taken by the same beings who spirited away his apprentices?" The chain of events thus far was frustratingly vague. "I wonder, what new information the next worlds hold for us..."

 

Beuce mentally wiped a bead of sweat. She actually believed the Saint Beuce thing. No one ever believes the Saint Beuce thing. Judging from the look in her eyes, it was fairly obvious she wanted the cake. But i mean come on, it's cake! He couldn't just not eat some of it. "Care to lady and the tramp this piece of cake?" He said, chuckling. He might have been joking, but then again...maybe not.
