Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Etrius shook his head when Kross said he was hungry. He was about was to tell him that they needed to keep going when Luna passed by. Etrius had meant to catch up with her a long time ago. Ironically, the disturbance Etrius had felt came from Luna's room. Etrius pondered that fact for a second, then threw it away. It can wait. He had came from a mission, sparred and nearly killed Kross, and flew off the handle at Karina.
"Go and eat Kross." Etrius said, "Don't let me starve you with my dark energy and my temper." With that, Etrius followed Luna out the door. He called out, "Hey Luna! Wait up a sec!"

 

He grabbed himself some bacon and somehow managed to make a single slice of cake. Probably the Moogle Synthesizer that was nearby or something. He entered the hall and sat next to Karina, across from a very awkward Beuce and Ananta. "Happy Birthday me." He whispered as he began to eat in silence.

 

Shaking her head, she shoved a fork into the cake. "It's yours, besides, I'm sure there's something else I can eat in there somewhere..." she began to think. Although she was always hungry, as soon as a mission starts that hunger disappears. Must be adrenaline or something. But just to be sure, she made a mental note to always bring a snack with her. Wouldn't want to nearly die of hunger out in the field, you know.

A strange feeling creeped up on her as she noticed quite a few of their team mates had joined them. Shaking her head, she folded her arms on the table and buried her face into them. She felt a little embarrassed for what she had just said, but she couldn't help but be a sucker for flowers. Especially oddly colored ones. With great smells. Holding the flower again, she twirled it and looked over across the table and saw Karina and Eon sit.

"So, I see Eon has himself a lady friend now, huh?" she spoke.

 

Hearing Etrius, Luna stopped for a moment and continued to walk. "What is it?" She asked Etrius as she kept walking. Luna started walking faster. "Do you mind leaving me alone for awhile? I have some things I wanna think through by myself." With those last words, Luna walked away from Etrius.

 

Eon looked over to Karina who he could tell was uncomfortable with the entire situation. Ananta didn't make it any easier, stating accusations that he knew she would not be happy with. If it were Kel or Etrius, she would have yelled instantly, so why not this time. He was one to defend his friends and that is just what he would do. "Ananta! She is not my "lady friend." Her name is Karina and is a friend. Don't profile people and just assume things." His voice raised in tone indicating anger. He looked at Karina, "if you want to leave, I understand. I won't hold it against you. Ananta sometimes has a bad habit of talking before she thinks." He offered to her, implying he would go with her if that is what she so desired.

 

Etrius saw Luna walk away by herself. She had done this to him previously, but Etrius didn't know why. He needed to know.
"Luna," Etrius began continuing to follow her, "Whatever is wrong, you need to tell us. Everyone here, we've all experienced the same things! Whether it being our parents being slain, our world swallowed up, or hopeless separation, we're all working for the same goal! And if you can't tell anyone else, you can trust me." Etrius caught up finally, and stopped in front of Luna a few feet away before going on. "No one can do anything alone. Not really anyway. So please, whatever it is, tell me what's wrong. As your friend, I want to know."

 

That struck a nerve. What Eon said was just not what she wanted to hear. Couldn't they tell how sarcastic she was? Maybe Beuce and his actions were rubbing off onto her, but Eon could have gone with the joke. Or at least put it less bluntly. "So you say I talk before I think, hm?" she stood up. Her hands slammed on the table. Crackers and cheese flipped out and cake was jumping into the air and flipping over. Suffice to say, she slammed the table fairly hard. "She is a lady and she is a friend of yours, does that not make sense?" she had fire in her eyes as she glared down Eon. "Karina is a very nice lady, I can tell by just looking at her, but if she needs a CHILD to do her talking then she needs confidence." she rose her hand pretty high now. "And Eon, this is for you!" she swung her hand down hard towards his face. A resounding slap echoed through the halls. Probably, who knows what the author for Eon may do.

 

Hearing the screams from the other room, Flora's eyes widened. "One sec Cat!" She dashed out into the main room just in time to hear Ananta's comment about Karina needing confidence.

"Hey!" She said to Ananta, waltzing up to her and grabbing her wrist so she couldn't slap Eon, but retreated when Karina did the same. She then saw Karina walk off and attempted to stop her, but she was gone.

"That's not nice!" Flora said to Ananta, "I know Karina isn't the best person to be around, but leave her alone. You have no idea WHY she's like that! Even then, it beats being someone as abusive and sarcastic as your sorry butt!"

 

Kross glanced up to Etrius as the male voiced to let Kross go and eat something. Sheepishly, he rubbed his arm and smiled nervously."Thanks Etrius! Come on down soon too, okay?"He said, after all even a power house like Etrius needed to eat. Hurriedly, he went tot he kitchen, passing by Karina on his way to the dining room. He gave her a brief regard before deciding on salad and sat down, putting the vegetables on his plate and grinning at the others, some of them looked a little ruffled, but he wanted to alleviate the mood."Hey guys"He greeted."We don't get a chance to eat together like this, let's enjoy it."

 

Luna fell silent for a brief moment. "Get out of my way, Etrius" Luna said with an angry expression on her face. "For your information, I've done a couple difficult things by myself. If you think I'm weak, then you got another thing coming!" Luna walked past Etrius storming out of the area. I've made it this far without trusting people. There's no way I'm changing my ways now! Luna kept walking with an angry look on her face.

 

Etrius sighed as Luna stormed passed him.
"I never thought you were weak Luna. From the moment I met you, I told you to never put yourself down." Etrius called to her. "It just seems that you have a hard time relying on others." Etrius closed his eyes, and held out his hand. "Which is why you have forced my notion to ask as to why there was a disturbance from your room." He opened his eyes again, blood red, and he summoned the Bond of Flame in a blaze of fire. He wouldn't go into a battle stance unless she made the first move.
"I don't want to hurt the people I trust Luna, but I'm having a hard time trusting you. After all.." His skin tinted a dark shade and dark smoke poured off his shoulders. "Even if I had secrets, better to tell others then desert them!"

 

Needless to say things turned sour after Ananta's little comment. First Eon spoke out for Karina's behalf, a noble but pointless effort considering who he was speaking out for, then Ananta slapped him in retaliation. While he did expect Karina to somewhat fly off the handle, he was remotely glad to see her walk off. That was when Flora showed up and entered the fray. Boy this was getting annoying. "Alright enough!" Finally making his presence known, he stood up from his seat. "Look, fighting over what happened won't solve a thing. Clearly Ananta sarcastic comment was misunderstood, but dragging it any long isn't any better. Now I don't care what you guys do, but just stop arguing. Geez." With that he left. To him that incident was pointless and pointless argument were a quick way to get on his nerves. Since he left the two ladies in Beuce's and Eon's care, not caring how that turned out for them, he decided to find Karina. While he knew she wouldn't be in her room crying her eyes out, he wouldn't put it past her to start punching walls. Which could be a problem eventually.

 

Ananta's raised voice was a trigger for Eon indeed. Back "home", that would usually imply that you were going into the chamber of darkness or one of the many testing chambers for experiments. The physical abuse was nothing, being that he was thick skinned, even so, Karina stopped the hand in its tracks. Eon glared at Antanta then turned away. "Another birthday surrounded by fear." He said as he ran off to go find Karina, hoping he could run into her.

 

Luna kept walking as he kept talking. "Some secrets are meant to be deserted aren't they?" She smirked as she asked Etrius. "Besides, why would you trust someone like me?" She chuckled a bit to herself as she continued to walk. Grabbing her necklace, she stopped for a minute before continuing her stroll. "As to the disturbance in my room, I suggest minding your own business." With that she made sure that she wasn't in range of Etrius with his keyblade in hand.

 

Etrius' eyes narrowed. He took off suddenly and stood again in front of Luna. He took a battle stance.
"The reason I trust you Luna," Etrius said, "Is because I consider you my friend. And even if you desert us, I will bring you back and make you explain, even if my own power begins to consume me. I would do the same for Steel and Kel. I bet you would also do the same for your own family." His eyes turned yellow for a minute. "If you just asked Yen Sid or even Krowley for your help, whatever it was, we wouldn't be having this conversation." He closed his eyes in disappointment at the thought. "Well, can't be helped now." He reopened his eyes, red again. "You forced my hand."

 

Luna stepped back a bit. "What do you think you're doing?" Luna saw the keyblade in his hand and remained calm once more. She walked past him once more with her arms crossed. "Whatever I do has a reason behind it. No matter what you say or what you do, my decisions and choices are not yours to make." She stormed away from Etrius once more, summoning her keyblade casting Blizzard on the ground quickly without being noticed. I have no time to waste......my heart is on it's countdown to darkness. I will ask for help when I need it!! Luna scowled as she thought to herself.

 

Ananta bared her teeth at anybody that got near her. Her other hand pulled off the table as she walked towards a lonely table far away. On the previous table, you could see dents where her hands had pounded into them. Walked towards the lonely table, she couldn't help but feel depressed again. She bit her lip in frustration, a trickle of blood peeked out as she lifted her foot and kicked the table into the wall. It hit with a resounding clang and fell down. You could easily tell that Ananta was either very angry or very depressed. Possibly a mixture of both.

Instead of staying behind, she stomped outside towards what seemed to be some sort of outlook with a view of the night sky. Stopping right outside the door, she made a tall jump onto the building and then continued to jump off of it onto the roof. Sitting down, she pulled her legs to her chest and sat there alone. There's no way anybody could reach her now.

 

Etrius' patience finally ran out. Luna had completely disregarded him and his teammates. He was actually bluffing about the hurting her part, but this was too far. He looked at his Keyblade Armor Activator and punched a fist at it, activating manually for the first time.

As a bright enveloped Etrius, he felt his anger of betrayal grow. It became too much. After his Armor finished forming completely around his body, It took a dark tint. He then took off again towards Luna, just as she cast the Blizzard spell. This time he was ready for the spell. He threw his Keyblade across the ice, jumped on it, and began skating on it. As the ice trap ended, Etrius breakrolled, caught his Keyblade in hand, and charged at Luna, growling under his helmet.
