Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Etrius nodded in understanding.
"I see. I'm sorry Luna, for whatever damage I did." Etrius said. He turned his head and looked at her. "Even thought it's still none of my business, but I really want to know what was that disturbance. Luna, just what was that power that I felt?"
He turned his head back and closed his eyes. "You don't need to tell me if it's really that bad.."
He added hastily.

Luna continued to look at the sky as she closed her eyes. "The disturbance from earlier is none of your concern." She opened her eyes as she turned around. She started to walk back. "I'm gonna head back. I need to change the bandages on my shoulder." As she spoke, her stomach growled a bit. She sighed as she continued walking. "I might as well grab something to eat." She whispered to herself as she made her way back inside.

Etrius was sorely disappointed that Luna didn't say anything. But then again, it would've bee unwise to push her. Since his concentration had been completely broken and he was wide awake, he too felt his stomach growl angrily. All the fighting must have put a lot of strain on his body, and he was feeling a bit weak. He stood up slowly, and walked to the Guild Hall.

 

With there being nothing for him to in the training ground, Kel turned and left. Not before saying one last thing to Eon. "You sure got your work cut out for ya." With that being said, he left. Now what was he going to do to kill time. It was obvious, at least to him, that Karina was going to need some time alone to herself. Which after that fight with Ananta, makes perfect sense. With a shrug of his shoulders he headed back to the cafeteria. He wasn't necessarily hungry, but it wasn't like he had anything better too do.

 

Luna entered the kitchen and saw Flora, Cat, and Kross. "Hi. Is there any food left? I'm kinda starving." Luna looked at all three as she asked her question. "I haven't eaten anything since I got back from the Dwarf Woodlands." Luna scratched her head hoping there was some food left.

 

Steel stared blankly at Ananta. "...And what, pray tell, do you want me to do?" He didn't quite understand where this was going. Why did everyone want his help today anyway?

 

Cat heard more footsteps from behind. "Hi. Is there any food left? I'm kinda starving." It was another girl she'd yet to meet, and when she turned she also saw thatKel kid from before. She smiled and grabbed another set of plates. "Sure. I made plenty for a reason. Say, I don't think I've really met either of you yet. The name's Cat." She served another dish for the girl and put it down on the table. If nothing else, some friendly faces were calming after what she'd just seen.

Luna extended out her hand to shake hands with Cat. "Nice to meet you Cat! The name's Luna. Luna Kiatespira at your service!" Luna smiled a bit as she introduced herself. She sat down at the table and clasped her hands together as she closed her eyes. Marks on her wrist dimmly lit as the marks shown to be cresent moons. The marks faded as she opened her eyes and had begun to eat.

 

"I...I'm not sure myself...it's just, whatever was happening felt...evil, inside me." Ananta spoke. Truth be told, she couldn't figure it out herself. But since Steel seemed to be pretty "at one" with some kind of dark, she thought maybe he'd have some idea of what to do. "I mean, you have some kind of dark in you or whatever and this is dark right now..." she held her crystal up. "Maybe you'd have some kind of idea to get rid of this darkness clouding my crystal?"

 

Kross smiled as Cat offered him something to eat, he sat down and took some rolls, and then some salad."I think I will, thanks Flora, I had a salad earlier so this shouldn't affect me too much.."He said, glancing up as another came in, she looked familiar, wasn't she the person he helped heal when she was in that fight? He waved over to her."Nice to meet you Luna, or re-meet you anyway, I'm Kross Connery. Yes, there's plenty of food, go on and help yourself!"He said, seeing Kel return. He gave a wave at the boy, inviting him to come over too, as if what had happened earlier was just a memory.

 

Etrius soon arrived in the Kitchen behind Luna, hood lowered, letting his black-and-red messy hair out and adjusting his wide-rimmed glasses accordingly. He muttered a "Hi" to Cat and gave Kross a slight nod. Etrius grabbed a golden delicious apple, crunched it in his mouth, and pulled out his Tarot deck.
"Anyone know our current situation with Krowley and how we deal with the Heartless?" He asked to everyone.

 

Kel gave Kross a quick nod before sitting with all of them. Currently he was being like he always was, quiet and barely paying attention to what anyone was saying. Even if that was the case he merely shrugged at Etrius's question. Considering the how he was preoccupied with the whole Karina, Ananta thing, where Krowley was wasn't a top priority for him.

 

Luna finished her meal as she listened to Etrius' question. She stood up with her plate and silverware in her hands. "All we can do is just be patient." Luna looked at the ground for a minute as she stood there. "For now, we wait until it's time to make the next move." Luna started walking into the kitchen and began cleaning her dishes. What the next move is? I have no clue but for my next move, searching for my brother or finding any clues about his whereabouts should be smart. Luna continued to wash her dishes as she was deep in thought.

 

Kross was silent at Etrius's question, the man had a good point, Krowley and the Heartless could not be left alone, there was too much at risk for that. He paused in his eating and set his elbows down on the table, folding his arms infront of him as he chose his words carefully, he didn't want to sound like he was speculating."I had the same concerns, Etrius."He told him."So..I visited Master Yen Sid. I thought that Master Xahenort had something to do with this but Master Yen Sid corrected that. He said that his apprentice, Vanitas had betrayed Master Xahenort."He paused a beat."For a new Master..I don't know the connection between this new Master and the Heartless, but I can say that whoever this master is, he's powerful, possibly enough to create the Heartless."He said, rubbing his cheek and looked at them."At least that's what I think."

 

Steel paused as he thought about Ananta's predicament. He could think of several possibilities, but none of them seemed to work quite right within his mind. He continued to think over the situation and had a realization. "I see... so that's how it is." He thought to himself. "Give me some time to think it over." He said aloud. "I can't be sure of anything at the moment." His eyes switching between her and Glen. "Sorry you two, but I can't solve all the worlds' problems at once; especially without information."

Ananta nodded. She knew that he couldn't do everythin, but it was worth a try. Slinking back, away from the two, Ananta sat against the wall and stared at the crystal. The dark tint it had acquired was indeed still strong, but it had subsided just slightly. Gripping it, she began to go over what had all just happened. From the outburst in the kitchen top her fighting Karina, she couldn't help but feel depressed again. Everything had gone pretty downhill since she got back from the last world. Sighing, she knew something she had to do now.

 

Luna finished washing and drying off her dishes. She walked out of the kitchen and turned toward Cat. "Thank you for the meal. May I ask you a favor, Cat?" Luna pointed toward her right shoulder. "My right shoulder is a bit wounded and I kinda need to change the bandages. Can you help me change the bandages?" She looked at Cat once more for her answer.

There was an uncomfortable silence in the room. Steel could sense that the two were momentarily thinking through their problems. He considered for a moment what it had been Ananta was asking of him. He could also sense that she was going to leave in a moment. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a shining white orb; a S.E.E.D. He breathed in it's scent to make sure it was of the variety he sought. Purity was something that would most definitely help her in this situation. Satisfied it was what he sought, he walked up to Ananta, crouched down, and stretched out the orb to her. "I don't know what decisions you will have to make, or problems you will have to face; but you should take this with you. It will serve as a..." He hesitated in search of a term that was accurate, but not quite the full of things. "...Good luck charm, of sorts."

((OOC: Just wanted to get things rolling again, even if only at a minor pace. Had wanted to post this a while back, but never got to it. The entire purpose is just for a little bit more character development before we move on.))
