Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Kross trailed behind, he had a lot on his mind anyway, it wasn't just this mission, it was the one in the Outback. As bad as he felt about 'leaving', he couldn't help what happened. One moment, he was helping to fight the Heartless, the next minute he was flung into space. He glanced up as Eon offered to help him warm up. He blinked twice, but smiled bright. The offer was nice. "It's okay Eon! I'll get used to it. Besides, Karina gave it to you, you should keep it."He said, politely refusing the gesture.

Their trip was going well, until a pack of wild wolves came. Kross's eyes narrowed dangerously as he looked at them. He summoned his keyblade, a strong gust of wind making him put his arm infront of his face. He heard Eon and nodded."Just let us handle it sir!" He gave a thumb up with his free hand and hopped over the wolves, landing gracefully. When his feet touched the ground, he made his charge, bashing into the wolves like a battering ram.

 

Things were going well for a while. They were fending off the wolves with little to know effort really. However one gave Karina the slip and managed to bite her. Now if it were Eon being bit, the damage wouldn't have been as bad, but Karina was bleeding and the damage significant. "Cure!" he called out, pointing his keyblade towards Karina to aid her wound.

Next was the defense, "Aero x2!" He cast Aero for both Karina and Kross. That was all he could managed for now. Eon then leaped over to a group that had snuck behind the other two and were going to attack Maurice. He performed a combo, knocking the wolves back. They were getting far more courageous and clever. He knew it was cold, but cold enough to risk your life for a bit of meat? They could not give in, they had to continue fighting.

 

There was a point where she reached a riverbank and Kaida slowed herself down from her jog to a walking pace. She stopped herself for a minute to splash her face with the cold water, and after she did so she heard something move behind her and she quickly looked back to see it. The blonde scanned the area for a brief moment before she stood up fully to get a better angle.

She took a step away from the bubbling brook and headed more towards the shrubbery. Within it, she saw movement and it made her jump briefly, then she stepped towards it cautiously to see what was there. On the other side of the bushes was a tall, white horse sniffing the grass and swaying in a swerved pattern. This horse was following a scent. If this was the case, this horse was just the one she was looking for.

Kaida made her way through the bushes to the other side and silently stepped, shadowing the horse and its movements. She did not wish to frighten it, but she wasn't sure how well the white stallion would take it. For a few minutes she successfully followed this pattern, when the horse rushed she rushed, when the horse slowed, she slowed.

At one point, the horse was making its way over a couple of rocks. At this point, Kaida had lost her footing and took a larger step than she intended. This caused her to slip and fall back into the grass. While she saw only the blue sky above, she heard a distraught grunt come from the horse. She chose not to move as she heard the clip-clop of his feet come closer. When his face came into view, she let out a nervous chuckle and saluted him.

The horse grabbed her shirt and pulled her up, he was certainly more animated than she expected him to be and it made her let out a quick yell. He have her a glare and Kaida held up her hands in apology and spoke out, "I am sorry, Maximus?" the horse's face seemed to soften up at the mention of his name and Kaida grinned, "I heard you are looking for a criminal, and I wanted to offer my assistance to you?"

Maximus gave her a look before he turned around and began to walk away, "No seriously! I can help you!" Kaida quickly ran up to him and ran in front of him in an excited burst of energy, "I can fight if I need to." The horse gave her a look and she tilted her head with a saddened face, "I'm only slowing you down right now if you don't accept my help. I have a blade."

The white-haired stallion made his way around Kaida to continue on without her it only made her angry. Kaida summoned out her keyblade and ran back in front of the horse pointing it at her, "Don't make me pout you mangled pony!"

Maximus let out what almost sounded like a growl and Kaida summoned away her keyblade and started to make a sad face. The horse looked worryingly at her before he made a face that looked like he gave up, "Fantastic!" Kaida ran up next to him and climbed up on top of him and pointed, "Onward noble steed!"

It only took a moment for Maximus to get up on his hind legs and for Kaida to fall right off. Maximus kept running and Kaida's face turned into pure shock as she rubbed her head, "Hey! Come back!" Kaida immediately got up and ran after the runaway horse yet again.

 

Luna ran up toward the Beast, keyblade in hand and casted Fire on him. "Take this!!" Luna jumped over the Beast as she casted the spell. Luna landed as she saw the Beast charge at her. The Beast grabbed her by her ankle and started to swing her like a rope. Luna tried to escape his grasp but it was unsuccessful as the Beast threw her toward the entrance at a high speed. "Ahhh!!!" Luna cried out as she crashed against the door halfway toward the top. Her eyes widen as her backside and her head slammed into the door. She started to lose consciousness as she started to fall to the floor.

Beuce honestly wanted to stay and ask Merlin some questions about the future. Like what kind of person would he be later on. Hah. Foreshadowing for a different RP...Or would he end up with Karina instead of Eon? She was pretty, if a bit of a she-dog...Okay, more than a bit...Okay, biggest one there is, but still i'm sure she had a reason for being like that. Then there was Ananta, she seemed somewhat interested in him. Maybe. Who knew? Merlin. that's who. Beuce made a mental note to return to Merlin and have him tell him about the future. Like maybe something about the night he went back...Nah, that's crazy. When would Beuce ever be time traveling? Foreshadowing ftw. He turned and glanced over to wart. He sure didn't look like a heroic spirit...Anyways, off to the town square for some plot.

 

Kross had his own struggles, holding off two thrashing wolves at once with a keyblade. He grit his teeth, his arms swelling a bit with the effort. He felt a gust around him as white wind whipped around him. He felt renewed, strengthened and he threw away the wolves. He raised his keyblade, the air charging with electricity. The couple of wolves around him bristled as yellow lightning struck the two, the wolves howling before popping into black smoke. "Thunder!"

 

This was good, both of them were holding the wolves off just fine now. Eon struck incoming wolves who tried their best to attack Maurice from the side. Things were going smooth, that was until a wolf managed to wrap his teeth around Eon's leg. With a slight squeal, Eon took his other leg and kicked the wolf off, succeeding with a keyblade strike right after. His hadn't managed to restore any MP yet so now he just needed to tough it out while the blood came oozing out of him.

 

She saw some long thing slide across the floor. "Oh man! Is that a snake? I can't deal with this..." She felt something hit the back of her legs and pull hard enough to trip the three of them at once. "Ah, geez that hurts." She looked up and saw... hair? It was only in the light for so long, but it looked long and blonde. Before she could even question it, she heard a voice come from the darker corners of the room. "I-I know why you're here." It came from above. She looked up, but she could only make out a silhouette. They were shrouded in the darkness. "And I'm not afraid of you." It sounded like a girl. Maybe it was the one they'd chased earlier? Cat got herself on her feet and put her hands in the air as she looked around. "No need to be afraid. We, er... come in peace." She could hear footsteps and some shifting up above. She must be moving. "Who are you, and how did you find me?" She backed up a bit, hands still in the air, and sighed. "I'm Cat. My friends and I were looking for someone else when we saw this place. We guessed he'd be here, but judging by your reaction, that's probably a no..." She put her arms down and walked back to the window, leaning back against it and sliding down until she was sitting in front of it. She put her knees up and buried her face in her crossed arms. "I wonder if we'll ever find him? What would I even say? Ugh, why can't it all just be easy?

Glen was surprised at Cat's reaction. They had been assaulted by this girl, and immediately it was decided the best idea was to tell her everything? No, he was having none of that. The girl had caught Glen off guard with tripping him over before, but he was confident he could handle any attack she threw at him. Cautiously, he took a few steps towards her.

He was now one step ahead of Cat, and he tried to force a smile; something that probably made him look a lot creepier than he actually was. "My name is Percy Marlurk, and we found you by looking up into the sky. A giant tower isn't exactly hard to miss. Anyway, if you truly know why we're here, then you know my associate just lied to you. We're actually hear, because rumours have been floating around that there is valuable treasure in this here tower, and like it or not we're going to take it. Now either you give it up quietly or we're going to have to get nasty" he said, deliberately lying in the hopes the girl would leave them alone and they could search for Flynn in peace. He did not have his keyblade summoned, but he was more than capable of changing that should something go wrong.
OOC: Mindstorm please don't assault Glen, I know you're thinking it :P​

 

She looked up at Glen, totally BSing an identity and possibly scaring the girl who had home field advantage. "What if there are traps around? What if she takes you hostage before you can get your Keyblade? Geez, moron." And then, she smiled. He'd been so quick to put brawns and intimidation over brains all the time. So she figured it'd be best to let this all play out and see him learn his lesson the hard way. She didn't move or say a word, but she grinned at his pitiful attempts to seem intimidating. Really, who could ever believe that he'd be capable of any damage?

 

Ananta stopped in her tracks. Looking on towards the town square, she shook her head and spoke up. "We need to stop guys!" she called out. Looking at them as they all began to stop, she crossed her arms and shifted her weight to her left. "A little bit ago, when we were leaving the tower, I had a really weird feeling. Like, something really powerful was brought here. Something that doesn't exist in this world..." she muttered the last part. "I think we need to be more careful. Also...I need to...um..." she shifted her weight again, crossing her legs. "Beuce, c'mere, please." she waved at him to come over.

Off in the world of Corona, a light in the sky shone. Swooshing down, Ananta could be seen on her keyglider. She had a target. Glen. The keyglider disappeared as she fell down, hard, on him all the while delivering a powerful punch right to his face. Soon after, she left to go back to Camelot....

 

Etrius could not believe that Glen was deliberately lying to this girl. He stood, dusted himself, and was about to slap Glen when Etrius had a slight idea. He cleared his throat loudly, then introduced himself.
"My name is Etrius. Mind you, Cat is correct. You have nothing to fear, because we have nothing to hide. Well," Etrius pointed a thumb at Glen and looking at him before going on, "Aside from Glen here. Terrible liar, if you ask me. I should slap him, but that wouldn't be worth it now, would it? I think you should do the honors, as Cat and I have not been lying to you thus far. You're more than welcome to trip him again."
Etrius held one hand behind him, just in case he needed to summon his Keyblade. He was smooth talking the girl, like a trainer talking to a spooked horse, but considering their current stance, the darkness around them was kept them from seeing the girl completely, and that gave her an advantage. So for now, Etrius was only testing the waters hoping Cat would join in and Glen would just shut up.

Kross managed to throw off the wolves attacking him and glanced to the side in time to see Eon get bitten in the leg. His eyes widened and he ran towards Eon, halfing the wolf running at the boy and stood beside him, taking his mage stance, then pointing his keyblade at one in the air, eyeing the leaping wolves. "Stop!" He yelled, the wolves freezing in mid air with clock symbols on their heads. He leaped and slashed at them individually."Eon! I'll flank them!"

 

Cat laughed at Etrius' comments regarding Glen. She was almost tempted to smack him over the head for what he'd just tried, but continued to show restraint and be the bigger person. "You're more than just welcome. Please, teach him a lesson, I insist." She remained in her spot, mostly because it was comfortable and they hadn't had a chance to just sit in a while. Plus, if they found themselves in need of a quick escape, she was right by their only plausible exit. And while she was at formulating plans, they might as well try to get on her good side and stay there. If nothing else, having the tower as a base of sorts would be extremely helpful. "And I do apologize for being so rude." She got up but remained in her spot. She leant against the wall beside the window, brought one foot up so it was parallel to the wall and crossed her arms. "We've been running around all day and it would be a big help if we could crash here for a bit. I'd understand if you said no, but I promise I'll keep these two on a leash." She smiled and nodded towards the boys. Hopefully lightening the mood would nab them some shelter, and maybe even a meal. At this point, she'd be happy just to eat some bark.

 

Luna opened her eyes slightly as she saw Krowley cast Aero as well as Cure on Luna. She landed softly onto the ground thanks to that Aero spell. Luna tried to get up and only was able to on one knee. She summoned her keyblade and casted Blizzard at the Beast. "Thanks for save!" Luna shouted toward Krowley as she gave him her thanks.

Eon nodded as Kross used Stop. He held back the pain an jumped to attack the wolves individually. He jumped back down and attacked the wolves that were near Maurice. His mana had finally come back decently, enough for cure anyway. He cast it upon himself to heal his injury then continued back to attack the wolves. They were almost gone too. Only a little bit more a they would be in the clear to go and save his daughter. "Karina, the last go to you!"
