The battle raged on as the keybladers did their best to subdue the giant Beast that stood before them. Left and right magic was cast, and keyblades swung as the group went on the offensive. The Beast so far seemed to be capable of taking hits, something that calmed D'daear's nerves. He along with the others did not want to bring harm to it...well much anyway. "Well, it's good to know this big guy can take a hit." he said. Getting his keyblade ready, he moved away from Krowley and began to dash towards the caped monster as he saw an opening with Luna's Blizzard spell. The Beast was quick enough though, and with a swipe of his giant paw knocked the chunk of ice out of the way and against the wall nearby. D'daear closed in, jumping high enough to reach the back of Beast's head. He swung the kingdom key like a bat, aiming for the sweet spot that would knock anyone unconscious. Without hesitation the beast turned around, and met the boy's gaze for a brief moment. D'daear's eyes widened, for a split second seeing something he did not expect to see.

"You people are beginning to AGGRAVATE ME!!" he roared, swinging his giant arm just in time to block the swing. The Beast's eyebrows furrowed as his frustration showed. A deep light thud reverberated from the Beast's arm as they clashed for the second. The boy's heart accelerated in fear as his body was now exposed in mid-air. "Oh MA-" he managed to utter before feeling a thick hand grip his left ankle. With a violent tug, he was dragged to the ground. His rear end was grounded, but not for too long as the Beast lifted him upside down.

"AAAHH!! HEELP!!! SOMEONE!!!" he shouted with eye'd fear, dangling like a pinata by the ankle in the Beast's hand. D'daear in desperation swung his keyblade, too frightened to think properly.

Steel noticed that despite being under the influence of the gravity spell, Beast was fighting perfectly fine, as if nothing was wrong. They were ignoring him again. He rolled his eyes and quickly jumped to D'daear's rescue. He found himself jumping on top of the arm that was holding the young wielder in the air. He stomped down on the creature's elbow nearly breaking a bone and causing the Beast to drop D'daear as it roared in pain. As he flew from the thrashing figure, he landed on the ground in front of him. "You know, we wouldn't be so aggravating if you hadn't attacked us; we could've just got what we came for and then left. But -somebody- had to go and throw a hissy fit." He paused for a moment. "That is very unprofessional of you..." He leaned down and whispered the last part of his sentence so quietly only Beast could hear. The creature's eyes widened, and he seemed to become angrier than before. "YOU!" he shouted in rage. He lunged for Steel but the swordsman slipped underneath and held his palm against the Beast chest. "Thunder." He stated. With a loud pop, a bolt of lightning flew illuminated his metallic gauntlet and threw the Beast into the air. He had cast the spell a bit differently than normal, but it did it's job exceptionally well. He dashed to the top of the stairs within seconds and proceeded to line his position up with the opponents. With a powerful thrust of his legs, he sped toward the creature in a sliding dash and slashed his keyblade as he passed. He landed next to D'daear. "Does that work?" He asked in a playful tone.

Karina nodded at Eon. There was only two left and she got them. Karina ran up to one knocking it with the back of her keyblade sending it flying into the other wolf. She then casually strolled up to both wolves piercing one through the back. She followed that by a horizontal slash to the other wolf killing them both. "There done. Told you we could do it. Lets just keep going." Karina said in a monotone voice. She let her keyblade disappear as she walked. She crossed one arm across her body to hold her elbow that got bit and cover the bloodstain on her shirt.

As Stratos and the gang were simply walking about to the town, they were then stopped by Ana. She seemed to be rather antsy about something and he wasn't entirely sure what to make of it. Apparently she had this feeling that there was some kind of impending threat at the town near the sword, something unnatural to be more specific and wanted the group to proceed with caution. She then said that she had to do...something? She didn't actually say what and seemed like she wanted to talk to Beuce about something before they continued there journey, but no one seemed to be reacting at all. "Now now Ana, if you have something you'd like to share just share it with all of us. We aren't the judging type," not like he actually knew anyone in the group that well to make that call, "plus, if something is at the town then we should probably move faster to get there to help solve it faster."

Ananta looked at Stratos and sighed. Scratching her head, she sighed even deeper. "I mean, we should all be sure we're all prepared for anything, you know? And I don't think Wart here should try and fight when we get to the town square. He looks pretty weak, you know? No offense at least...but I just don't want a kid that's been put in our ward to get hurt because we all rushed in to fight something..." she trailed off. Grasping the crystal around her neck, she squeezed it and fiddled with it before she started walking towards the village some more. "Oh and Stratos? Do not call me Ana." she said firmly, turning back for just a moment before continuing.

Assuming the group followed and they arrived at the village, she stopped a bit before the square. Peeking around a corner of a building, she spied a large man with many arms and somebody she didn't quite recognize or remembered. She held a hand up and motioned for everyone else to take a peek before she scuttled back, out of view of the square. "Okay," she whispered. "What do we do? Run in, ready to fight, or take a defensive approach?"

Aside from being as silent as he always was, Kel listened in to what Ananta had said. Out of their current group, four of them knew how to handle themselves. He was about what Goofy could do and Walt, well it would be wise not to send him into combat right now. Which meant that if there was something there waiting for them, Goofy would probably be the on who would keep an eye on Walt. That seemed to be the best thing for him to do right now. With that in mind, he followed behind Ananta to the village.

Taking a peek as per Ananta's signal, he noticed the four armed man messing with the sword and the same masked female that's has been in just about every world he's been too. At this point he was just about certain that she was stalking him. Whatever the reason was, that still didn't change the four armed giant with her. "A defensive approach would be best." Kel whispered. Even if they outnumbered the giant, his four arms made up for the lack of numbers. "That four armed monster will be a problem, along with the masked person with him."

Beuce peered around the corner along with the party. He completely ignored most of what they were saying. "Okay, you guys take the giant four armed guy, and i'll seduce the other one. Good? Good." He said, not giving them a chance to respond. Walking out from behind the corner as suavely as humanly possible, he approached Nequa. He put an arm around her and began spewing cheesy pickup lines such as "Pick a weapon, because you just dove right into my heart."

Needless to say, he likely had roughly the same chances of survival as Glen.

One would think that Kel would be used to seeing his comrade run recklessly into a situation considering his time in Land of Dragons. That person would be wrong. With the whole 'element of surprise' possibly gone, Kel could only hope that Beuce would provide a good enough distraction for the rest of them. Even with this in mind, he couldn't help but say. " What an idiot."

No one actually got a chance to beat up Beuce before a note came fluttering in the wind. He sniffed the air. He knew that scent well. It was the smell of dust off a freshly broken fourth wall. A message from another version? That didn't happen often. There were serious regulations against that. He opened it and began reading it to himself under his breath. "Camelot...had to pee...Ananta...Future self...Hasn't made refere-" Beuce stopped mid sentence as the gravity of what he was reading washed over him. What he had almost been pulled into. He looked over at Ananta with a look of shock on his face. He would never see her the same way again...His only hope for a good future was to melt the ice queen's heart.

Ananta was ticked off. Not only did Beuce run in and ignore everything she had suggested, but he went off and began FLIRTING with the enemy. That was a mistake, seeing as he could probably lose a few things in the process. His life and two other things that need not be mentioned at this point. Ananta facepalmed and fell to the ground in disgust and disappointment. She really expected better of Beuce, especially after he was nice to her and all, you'd think he wouldn't flirt with another girl right in front of her. Guess that threw everything out the window and made things moot. Either way, she stood back up and walked over to the four armed man. She sauntered up to him and ran a finger down his muscles, batting her eyes at him. "My, you have very strong arms...what's your secret? I love a man with muscle...~" yes the ~ was needed. Having ignored what Beuce just realized, she did not care a single bit at the time. She was just trying to follow Beuce's cue.

Gilgamesh was grunting heavily as he tried with all his strength to pull the sword. "CONFOUNDED BLADE!... YOU WILL BE MINE!" In his attempts, he had completely ignored Ananta's flirtatious advances. She shoved off Ananta from within arm's length so he could better concentrate. "Begone woman, I'm within earshot of my destiny. HRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" He pulled desperately once again, but the sword wouldn't budge.

Beuce had tried his own attempts with Nequa, but as Kel could tell, neither would be successful. "Pick a weapon, because you just dove right into my heart," he flirtatiously began,
Nequa chuckling briefly before playing along. "Well ain't you just a flatterer, you," she replied in a southern accent. Nequa was now impersonating a southern belle as she humored Beuce. "You keep on going' like that, your friend there is gonna have a thing or two to say," she said in regards to Kel. "Ya see, we've been having a bit of a thing since the jungle days." She fanned herself with her left hand as her helmet looked in a random direction. "As much as I see you two fight over little ol' me, I got plans, see? Another with which I have to witch around with. Y'all behave no, y'hear?" She blew a kiss from the outer space of her helmet, as she finally dropped the act. "Don't die too soon..." A portal opened up behind her as she hopped backwards into it. "Whoop whoop!" The corridor closing behind her,

"Wow, what was that!" Wart yelled out in fascination. Goofy too seemed a bit confused, even for him. "Y'know I think that mighta been Madam Mim! Merlin said she was a crazy ol' witch. And she looked mighty cooky to me," Goofy observed. "But that guy sure doesn't seem like anybody I ever seen," he added.

Gilgamesh let out a heavy sigh as he stopped to take a breather, with his two forearms on the caps of his knees. "I'm sure *pant* I'm loosening it up *pant* nicely..." Using his back arms, he massaged his shoulders and back muscles. "Any tips on this, lady?" He turned to find Nequa had disappeared.

"WHA?! Where'd she go?!" He looked down to take note of the other six he had ignored until now. "And who the hack are you?!"

The girl had listened intently to Cat's negotiation, but was still hesitant to reveal herself. She looked to the floor, deep in thought as her petite figure hid behind a thick ceiling beam. The three didn't seem as horrid as her mother's stories said, but she had no way to be sure. The thing holding her back the most was that Percy fellow. She turned to a small green, chameleon that sat perched on her shoulder for guidance. T"What should I do Pascal?" she asked. The chameleon matched eyes with her and gave his answer with a most convincing expression.

A small metal object could be heard being picked up with the sound of a slight drag against the wall. From out of the shadows, a lasso of golden hair shot through the darkness. At the end of it, was a frying pan that was fired like a cannonball to blindside Glen on the front of his forehead, making a loud "CLANG!" With it, Glen fell almost instantly, unable to move.

As quickly as it was shot out, the hair tied to the frying pan was reeled in like a fishing rod back into the shadows. This put the girl at ease and allowed her to take a small step into view. She put her left barefoot first, and slowly walked out with the frying pan in her hand, untangling it from the rest of her hair. Now that she was within view, they could see that she was indeed a shy, young girl, with hair long enough to wind around the room like tangled yarn. "Y-you aren't after my hair then?" she asked timidly. "I'm sorry for hitting your friend, but he was making me uneasy. I had to me sure I could trust you. I promise I don't normally do stuff like-"

A wooden creak was heard from the wardrobe behind her, silencing her and causing her eyes to widen in alertness. From the wardrobe's confines fell an unconscious Flynn Rider who fell directly over top the girl. She made a loud "Oof!" noise as the man flattened her. "Okay... well there was this other time... but he snuck up on me! Um... could you help get him off me? He's kind of heavy."

With the last of the wolves dispersed, Maurice let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness that's the last of it..." He took a knee to exasperate what little breath he had from the anxious reaction to the large pack of wolves.

"If you think that's the last of your troubles, you really must be as crazy as they say." A woman in a black organization coat stepped from behind the group. She was a bit taller than Nequa, and didn't sounded far more reasonable. Her voice was soft enough to at least catch their attention.

Unknown to them, she had been keeping a close eye on them from the tavern after their run in with Gaston. She turned her attention to the party, and seemed a bit preoccupied with something. She nodded her head and counted the heads. "There were only two of you in the tavern. And now you have a third. Exactly how many of you are there?..." she was talking more to herself then the rest of them as speaking aloud seemed to clear her head.

"Well whatever the number, this world isn't within your jurisdiction. This world is my assignment and I won't have any variables altering what's already been squandered. Take the old man home and depart.Refusal will result in forced evacuation. This is my one and only warning." She spoke to them very seriously and walked passed them towards the castle, turning her head up to look at the spooky sight.

"I apologize if that seems hostile, but it's within everyone's best interest." She hed out her hand and summoned a keyblade before their eyes. "See. Friend."

Ananta stepped back as Gilgamesh completely ignored her. Scratching her head, she turned to see Nequa leaving. While she wanted to try and stop her, she was just too fast and got away pretty quickly. Turning back to Gilgamesh a moment, she heard Goofy speak behind her. Turning around she shook her head. "No, no, Goofy. I don't think she's that Mim you're talking about. She's also um...like us." she spoke a bit bluntly about that. "Well, Wart, sorry you had to see that." Looking at Kel and Stratos, Ananta backed away from Gilgamesh. "Not going to lie...but this guy was with that helmed lady..." she said, getting defensive and drawing her keyblade out. She held it in her left hand in a defensive position.

Luna successfully got up on both feet. She jumped lightly to check if any bone was broken though no bone was broke. Luna summoned her keyblade and looked toward the Beast. "THAT'S IT! NOW I'M FURIOUS!!!" Luna yelled and ran toward the Beast, striking him down with her keyblade. She then jumped away as the Beast stood. Luna cartwheeled her toward him and kicked him into the wall. "PAYBACK HURTS DOESN'T IT!"

Eon looked over at Kross and then over to Karina. What were they to do.... they couldn't just leave Maurice's daughter alone could they? No... they couldn't. But if they refused, they were going to need to fight again, and with Karina's arm and his leg being in rough shape, could they really afford conflict right now?

Its not like they could trust this girl. They hadn't ever met until this very moment. And if she really were on their side, would she not have assisted them with the wolves? He spoke up finally, "No. We promised this man we'd save his daughter, and that's what we have to do. Keyblade or not, our mission is set within his tears!"

Cat barely had time to react when she heard the clang and saw Glen fall backward onto the floor. Honestly, she had to keep herself from bursting out with laughter. She shoved her palm over her mouth, hoping not to make a sound despite how futile her efforts were proving to be. After a bit, she managed to regain her composure and saw the girl step into the light, holding the pan in her hands. She was barefoot, but her dress seemed very clean, minus a few spots with dried paint. "Y-you aren't after my hair then?" She seemed hesitant to even ask the question, but to ask it meant that she must've felt some sense of trust, or perhaps it was just a lack of mistrust. Either way, Cat shook her head. "Nope. Honestly, we didn't know there was anyone up here." She seemed to loosen up, but continued to hold the pan in case worse came to worse. "I'm sorry for hitting your friend, but he was making me uneasy. I had to make sure I could trust you." Cat chuckled a bit again. "No worries. I'd have gladly done it for you, but I didn't want to be rude." She couldn't keep the smile off her face as the girl continued. "I promise I don't normally do stuff like-" Suddenly, the unthinkable happened. A dresser right behind the girl opened up, and she was knocked to the ground by Flynn Rider's unconscious body! She gawked, her mouth hanging open at the sight of it all. She just knew he would be here. It was ideal for any convicted felon to hide out in an isolated tower. She felt proud that she could track him, but at the same time the thought that he'd been knocked out and stuffed into a dresser was incredibly farfetched. "Umm... could you help get him off me? He's kind of heavy." She was pulled out of her thoughts by the question. She looked down at the girl, smiling back at her. "Sure." She moved towards her and knelt down to try and roll Flynn off of her back and onto the floor beside them. "You know," she began to whisper to her. "You should probably tie him up. You can't trust this guy at all." She finished rolling him off of her and offered the girl some help in getting back on her feet. In that moment, she noticed a little animal, possibly a chameleon, climb out of her hair and move onto her shoulder. It seemed to be staring her down and she smiled at it. "Aww, well aren't you just a cutie?" She took her free hand and scratched his chin with her index finger. He almost seemed to be turning pink, but he smiled as she did it. "Well, maybe the people here aren't all bad after all..."

Stratos didn't actually know what had just happened here. There was Ana and her just continually telling them to be cautious, and then they got to the town to see a four armed man and a armored masked woman just trying to do whatever it was they were going to to that sword lodged in the stone. The four armed man seemed to be struggling mightily, and then Beuce said that the rest of them should take care of them. He then proceeded to hit on the woman in the mask...while Ana just decided to hit on the four armed man. As it would turn out, the four armed man seemed to be more in love with the weapon than any kind of person, but Beuce produced spectacular results. He had managed to have the armored woman disappear for the time being. That man certainly had a way of dealing with situations.

Now that she was gone, both Goofy and Wart were really confused. Well that was okay, but Stratos actually had no idea what was going on anyway. It was then that Ana mentioned that the armored chick was actually like them. He assumed that meant she was a keyblade wielder, and probably not a good one based on how she talked about her. "Sorry big guy, but I don't think that sword is budging for you." Stratos then pulled out his Unbound Keyblade and despite it magically switching forms from Oathkeeper to this which Stratos payed no attention to at all, he got in a defensive stance ready to take on this fellow.

It looked like that was the last of the wolves. Kross relaxed his stance and breathed out a sigh of relief, looking at the two and laughing."Hey, didja see that? I went BAM, then Karina wen BOOM and then Eon was like 'Come at me!'."He said with a laugh."We make a very great team."He commented, then looked at Maurice and smiled widely."It's okay sir, we handled that ni--"He was interrupted by the voice of a lady. He immediately turned his head and stepped protectively infront of Maurice, eyeing the girl as she passed them. The way she spoke, she sounded like she was up to something, and Kross was very suspicious. His eyes narrowed a little."You say you're our ally, yet you summon a keyblade and threaten us to go home. "I was given this assignment along with these two as well, and I don't plan to leave until it's complete and this man is reunited with his daughter."He breathed in and pointed at her bravely."So stay out of our way!"

Karina walked straight up to the woman and poked her in the chest. "Look I don't know who the hell you think you are but we have a job to finish and I NEVER leave a job helf done. I suggest you get out of my way before I make you. If you wanted us gone then you should have said so in the Tavern, not once we started doing something. Karina pushed past the woman and tried to continue on towards their destination. "That keyblade, it is probably a sham." Karina said in a monotone not very impressedd voice. It seemed that both the guys where with her in the decision to keep going. Besides what athority did the woman have over them? None to Karina's knowlege do she didn't care to listen to her in the slightest.

Kel couldn't help but to sigh and face palm at the scene going on before him. In a short period of time, their fighting fource was cut in half. So much for the defensive approach. Fortunately though, the four armed giant completely ignored Ananta, possibly hurting her womanly pride in the process. As for the masked person, well if she was Madam Mim as Goofy said, then how she reacted suited her character.

With her gone now, that just left them and the giant trying to pull out the sword. First thing Kel did was summon his Oathkeeper keyblade and held it in front of him. Next thing was too speak to the giant. "It's pretty clear that you and your four arms aren't fit to wield the sword. You might as well give up and go home." He figured that their words wouldn't lead to anything peaceful, oh well. If it was time to fight, then it was time to fight.

Base took no delay in taking advantage of the Beast’s momentary confusion caused by Luna’s powerful slam. He swung in and cast a crippling Thunder Spell onto the Beast. “Double pace!” He called out, as a crack of thunder accompanied an erratic bolt of lightning that struck the Beast directly on the head. He dealt some melee damage while the volts ran through the massive, gruesome form; it certainly enough to kill the brute, but, judging from the grunting and odd pose, it was definitely enough to keep the monster in one place for several well-landed blows to the Beast’s jaw, chest, and ankle. Whatever it was, it’d feel those for sure once the paralysis dissipated. One more blow to the other ankle, and Base cast his Keyblade away to free his hands up for his next move; he was going to grab the Bull (Or whatever) by the literal horns. While the Beast was immobilized by the Thunder spell, Base swung around onto the Beast’s back by gripping on of its horns, and knocked the monstrosity first back headlong into the wall and into the ground. While Base held down the weakened Beast, he did not expect a rather quick recovery; the Beast roared back to an upright (and furious) position, and through Base skywards in the process. Luckily, Base was able to catch a gargoyle fixture some meters above the ground as he descended, but after having made the Beast as angry as he had, Base wasn’t so sure he wanted to go back down. Then the Beast spotted him, a fiery mad spark in the monster’s large blue eyes told Base there was surely some way the Beast was going to find to bring down the boy.

The Beast came charging towards the pillar and bombarded the stone with his mighty fists. The whole room shook, and Base almost lost grip of his gargoyle. Having failed the first time to bring down the prize, the Beast gave the pillar another, greater knock, but Base was wiser; Base jumped from the gargoyle and used the Beast’s head as spring board to get back down to the floor. Given the aid of his velocity, the Beast’s jaw smacked right into the stone floor with tremendous force as Base used his momentum to reach Krowley.

“Mind finishing him off?” Base gave Krowley a nod, having completely been worn out of breath. His holding power had improved, and in so doing, Base was really beginning to see his true acrobatic and powerhouse abilities as an active fighter. Truth be told… he liked the rush.
