"Thanks Steel..." said D'daear whilst he rubbed his rear end. The Beast had dropped him abruptly when Steel had gotten involved to save him. In a matter of seconds the Beast was nearly downed as everyone; excluding himself, got into the mix in that instance. Fortunately Krowly stopped in the midst of his finishing blow as a chandelier gave his voice to the crowd. Everyone stopped what they were doing for the moment, the personified objects coming forth from the dungeon to educate the group on whom it was they were fighting. It turned out that the Beast was the Master of this castle. "Hah! I knew something was up...!" he exhaled in the moment, quickly realizing that he had thought out loud literally. Clearing his throat, he reconfigured his composure; now trying to become part of the background as to hide from the embarrassment of blurting out his thought. The beast ordered his servants to escort them to the castles exit, but apparently no one was willing to budge until questions were answered; this clearly displayed by a defiant Base. D'daear stood next to him, awaiting whatever questions, answers, or whatever may come.

Much to Kel's surprise, Beuce's strategy was actually a good one and that saying something considering what had happened the the masked female was here. Still he held his keyblade out in front of him, ready to fight. "Sounds like a plan to me." The two of them against a four arm giants, basically two arms for the both of them. Definitely the strangest person he's even gone up against, but eh. New fight lead to more experiences (in both senses). Unlike all of the previous times where he's nearly been defeated in battle, he was prepared this time, especially with the Oathkeeper as his new keyblade. He wasn't going to be taken down without a fight.

"I don't care to fight her and if she is someone of importance I will not take blame for hurting slash killing her. I want to finish the tassk I was assigned and get out of here. That is it." Karrina explained. She didn't trust this woman so she wouldn't think of her as having any authority over her, but at the same time if it turned out she did and master yen side heard of them fighting her... well Karina didn't want to think of the possibilities that might happen. That is why she wouldn't fight. That is why she was trying so hard just to get away from the woman and not be too forceful. She had a feeling after the last visit to Land of Departure she may already e on thin ice due to the whole event with Ananta, she didn't want to make this worse for herself.

Steel looked stood with a confused look at Base. "You want ques-" He threw up his hands and rolled his eyes. "Very well. What is your favorite color? Why do you like peaches? Why does it occasionally become tedious to work with you all? What kind of failure requires this much effort? What is the difference between the color blue and fruit?" Steel continued to list questions. For someone usually observant and sarcastic; he seemed rather oblivious. Odd.

Flynn tried to grin out a smile, but all the surrounding people were making him very uncomfortable. "Okay, I can see that you're still a little upset about past events, so-" he bent up his tied wrist to put his index finger and thumb together. "Let's just put a pin in that for now, as for me, I just wanted..." he looked around his body in dismay. "Ho, ho no, where is my satchel?"
Rapunzel proudly folded her arms and smiled in confidence. "Ive hidden it... Somewhere you will never find it."4Flyyn browsed for anything around the room that could pass as a hiding spot.

"It's in that pot isn't it?" His fingers pointed
With a flick of the wrist, she shut her eyes before knocking him our again. "CLANK!" and gown Rider's mind went once again. She admittedly didn't put a lot of effort into hiding it, but the fact that he got it so quickly made her uneasy. Besides, she needed that as a bargaining chip for the thing she truly wanted.
"Okay, pinkie promise that that it the last time I do that in this room..."

During this time, the little chameleon had found his way to Glen and used the same method to flick his tongue into the man's ear, awakening him.
Rapunzel picked up Pascal off the floor and put him back on Flynn's shoulder to do the same to him again.
"I just don't know if I can trust him yet. You see, my mother kept me in this tower because she said people would try to steal my hair." She walked over to the purple pot that Rider mentioned and looked around for a new hiding spot. "My hair has the power to heal anything and anyone, so she says people would try to use me. But once it's cut, it's power is lost." She showed them a small collection of brown strands behind her neck. "That's why I need to be extra careful around people, but to be honest; I'm just too excited! I have actual people over!" She unhinged a door beneath the floorboards and stored the satchel into the small compartment before closing.

"Ahh!" Flynn yelled out. "Would you stop that!" he rubbed his ear on his shoulder in discontent.'
Rapunzel stood up straight as to not arouse suspicion. "Now it's somewhere you'll never find it...But I will return it to you, if you will act as my guide. Take me to the kingdom before nightfall, and return me home safely. Then, and only then, will I return your satchel to you. That is my deal."

"Yeah, no can do. Unfortunately, the kingdom and I are not exactly, simpatico, at the moment. So I won't be taking you anywhere. If it means so much to you, have them do it," he nudged towards the three."

Rapunzel paused to consider this. She needed help getting there and back and as far as she was concerned, it didn't matter who.

"Hmm, good point!" she turned to the group. 'So will you help me out then?"

"Hey hey hey, whoa," Flynn interrupted. "Don't you know what bargaining is?"

"Yup, but I have the only thing you want. You can take apart this tower brick by brick, but without my help, you'll never find it."

"Well.... without my help you'll never get into the kingdom unseen! And even if they fight them off, it'll just attract more attention to you. Why does it have to be tonight anyways?!"

"I've made my deal Flynn Rider. Do you accept it?" She perched her lips, meaning serious business. Both of them were stubborn, but they both really wanted something that only the other could grant. Quite the dilemma.

Giving up his side of things, he accepted. "Fine. I'll sneak you into the kingdom... Now can you let me out of this please!"

    Meanwhile, In the forest...

The pristine white horse of the guard; Maximus, was hot on Rider's trail. Sniffing the terrain below him like a bloodhound, he desperately sought after the wanted man. His scent led him to a wanted poster that has been nailed to a tree. It depicted the thief in a fairly well drawn portrait, save for the disproportioned nose. Rider's scent reeked all over it. He was here all right.

Using his bucked teeth, he ripped that poster of the tree and vigorously shredded it into his mouth and his nostrils in a vengeful rage to perform such an unlikely action. The brightly clad lass was still trailing him. He let out a resentful "neigh" as she seemed refusing to give way.

He returned to his task and picked up the trail once again, snorting heavily along the ungroomed grass. He steered and swerved until he came across a stone wall covered with vines. Dead end.
He let out another heavy sigh, and was shocked that his breath blew away past the wall to reveal it was actually a cavern hidden beneath the tangled leaves. Inspired and renewed, he trotted onward. Wherever this cavern led to, must have been the hideaway of that rogue!

    GROUP A

"Most aspiring to meet you mademoiselle!" he replied to Luna. "I am Lumiere, the Castle Maître d. I welcome you to our humble abode!"

Cogworth toppled over as Base stepped aside. "Ahh!" With a small clanking sound he fell onto his belly, which in his case was the frame encasing his pendulum. "Now see here, you've put my cogs every which way and out! Do you understand the amount of time it takes to compose a clock after it's insides have been tossed around like a vat of custard!" He retorted. "The Master wants you out, so there'll be no questions for- AHH! Put me down!"

Krowley picked up the clock and examined it. "Extraordinary," he commented. He was in disbelief that he was actually holding such a thing.

"Cogsworth, you tightly wound primitive, these are our guests! Oui, the master said he wanted them out, but he did not say when, non?" The candelabra mentioned. "Come, come, there is no need for this prattle and battle to spout on. Mrs. Potts will make some tea, and we will answer all your mind desires." The candlestick seemed the most level headed of the bunch, with the Teapot being sincere and the clock being tightly wound to say the least.
"Lumiere, you may do as you wish, but I refuse! We had one job; Make sure tonight goes well. And it was ruined. RUINED, I SAY!"
"Oh, hush you! Those two getting together isn't an easy task, but nothing of value ever is."

"Get them together?" Krowley asked ad he gently put down Cogsworth. "What kind of bizarre match up is that?"

"We're tryin' to get Belle and the Master to love each other!" Chip said excitedly.

"Hush you! They don't need to know any of that." He trotted along to chip and covered his mouth.
"Scold him again, and I'll scad you for it!" Mrs. Potts warned, preparing to boil up.
"Ahh, not the face! Not the face!"

This "Belle" they mentioned might have been the girl they saw running off before. "Why hook them together then?"

"That, mes amis, is a tale that goes back ten years ago to one cold winter night. An old beggar woman came to the castle, and asked for shelter."

"Upupupupup!" Cogsworth interrupted. "I am the resident keeper of all the history in this castle, so I shall dictate what happened that evening.

"Oh? And what happened to them not needing to know?" Mrs. Potts recalled.

"They don't need to know, I just need to tell.... Ahem! But the master of this castle, that is of course, the Prince turned her away. All because of her, ahem, meager appearance."

"Oui. He was a spoiled prince, so selfish and...how shall I say...cruel," Lumiere added.

    "Lumiere!" Cogsworth scolded.

"The old woman warned our master not to be deceived by appearances... Still, he would not take her in. Then the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. She turned the Prince into a beast, a shape she thought fitting for his cold heart. And to further punish him, everyone in the castle was enchanted, too," Mrs. Potts concluded.

"And the only way to break the curse is to have them get together. The Master has to love and be loved in return for us all to return to normal!" Chip snuggled next to his mother. "Id finally be able to sleep in a bed... instead of a cover," he lamented.

    GROUP B

Karina was so brash to her, so determined. Both negative and positive qualities in a wielder. Sadly they would no doubt be her undoing.
As for the rest of them, she contemplated whether or not to reveal to them the nature of the situation. There was something more grand then all of them at play, but to what end would it come to? What was the risk and would she take it? Such decisions.

"My name is Eclipse. That's all you need to know for now," she stated. "And I doubt they will listen to reason. So if their hearts lead them away, let them. But your fates aren't the ones I need to rely on. Belle is the only one I'm here for."

"Wh-what do you want with my Belle!" Maurice stammered.

"Nothing, I assure you. I'm only here to ensure things run smoothly. Hard a that is to accept."

"But if you wish for her safety, why won't you let them rescue her?!"

"Because," she began. "It isn't written."

    Maurice seemed puzzled.

"Your daughter loves books. How do you think she would feel if all of a sudden, some one wrote all over the pages, changing the story to something else. I'd imagine she's be upset."

This only begged further questions. "How do you know so much about Belle? Who are you really?"

Eclipse hesitated, but agreed internally to follow protocol. "My name is Eclipse. That's all you need to know for now."

Glen awoke with a start, and a not-so-masculine shriek as he felt the slimy tongue in his ear. He sat up extremely quick and glanced around the room. Ah, that's right..he had climbed the tower with a herculean effort, he had entered the tower, and then...

"Urgh..frypans hurt.." he said quietly, getting to his feet. His grogginess vanished the second he saw Flynn having the small chameleon stick its tongue in his ear. He began laughing quite a lot, finding the idea hilarious. What a great way to wake someone up! It would wake people up almost immediately, probably with them having no-

"OH MY GOD YOU DISGUSTING LITTLE LIZARD!" he cried out, now realizing exactly how he himself had been woken up at. He backed away quickly from the small reptile and his hair-ninja-friend, making sure that he kept his distance to the two as he listened to the deal that was being struck between Rapunzel and Flynn.
Once the deal had been made, he came to the conclusion that he wanted to help the two out. While one had knocked him out, and the other had left him, Cat and Etrius to die, part of him succumbed to greed; Flynn probably knew a way to get into the castle, possibly even a way to get more treasure. While he didn't have any plans to go to extreme lengths or anything to find it, the idea of having just a bit more munny in his pocket was an appealing one.

Stratos had had absolutely no idea what he was supposed to make of his blizzard magical attack. Really, there was no sense of scale that he had to back him up with, but he figured that saying that the foe before them, Gilgamesh, wasn't that affected by the attack. Despite his extremely goofball persona that he had, there was some underlying sense of extreme severity and actual threat, so these results weren't entirely unexpected. As far as the rest of the team was handling it, though, Ana was trying to brace herself for any kind of attack that Gilgamesh could throw at her. He assumed that she was not entirely confident in her defensive capabilities. Next was Kel. Kel simply looked ready to attack and take Gilgamesh down alongside Beuce, as part of Beuce's master plan. Granted, he could and probably would have to switch to fighting up close as well anyway, but at least his guardian path powers would allow him to take the hits. Meanwhile, Beuce himself was...not doing anything. For whatever reason, his actions could only be described as being in a state of limbo, both happening and yet with the sense that they have yet to happen making it impossible to tell what was actually happening with him.

As things stood though, Startos still had a good two spells in him left before he had to resort to that kind of attacking. Clutching onto his unbound keyblade he decided to start charging up his spell again...and by charge he meant more or less point and fire in like, less than a second because casting times were pretty much none here. He then thought about how he should use this blizzard spell of his. Obviously, continuing to just fire it at the man's torso would probably prove to be extremely useless, since it was more likely than not to not do much damage at all. So instead, he aimed his Unbound keyblade towards the one Gilgamesh's arms. Perhaps, if he were to hit the multi armed man with a large chunk of ice on one of his arms, it would cause him to drop one of his blades...maybe...Really that kind of mechanic probably didn't exist, but hey, it was worth a shot. And less arms means less weapons and less weapons would probably end up benefiting the other two, Kel and Beuce, with their job.

So, with his keyblade pointed towards one of the many arms of Gilgamesh, he felt the cold icy feeling of the magic starting to form on the tip of his keyblade. Steadying his arm to make the shot more precise, Stratos had eventually gotten the perfect shot down. All that was left was simply shouting the spell's name to cast it, and thus Stratos said, "Blizzard" and fired off the chunk of ice towards the arm of Gilgamesh. Despite the four of them going against only one guy, and despite any strategy they may have, Stratos had a feeling this was going to take a lot longer, and that they weren't even a third of the way done with this fight yet.

Beuce, unfortunately for everyone else, was having a reference moment. Despite any amazing strategy he could come up with, no matter his skills as a tactician, his incessant need to make jokes out of everything really put a damper on his combat abilities. But when he got serious...foreshadowing was taking place. "Did i remember to fold the toilet paper over? Is it in a perfect triangle?" He said, referencing a certain son of the grim reaper, but rather than going back to check, the white haired man pulled himself together and readied his keyblade. Running up next to Kel, he readied himself to parry the blow coming at him.

Gripping his wooden blade by the back of the guard, two fingers on each side and the hand between them, he pressed his keyblade against his shoulder. Revolver scraped against the weapon with an audible "shhing" sound and sent yellow sparks flying. How metal against wood does that, i have not a clue, but honest to god that's what happened i swear. Beuce pushed at the end of the swing, effectively knocking revolver (Was that a...chocobo on it?) back and leaving him open to counterattack. On his right half at least...

This next part would only work if Kel really had his back. In the couple second opening he had created, Beuce twirled his keyblade in the most heterosexual way imaginable to and from forward hand and backhand, striking him with each change. After three strikes, He ran up the giant in a backhand style, scraping it across his body as he went. Kicking off Gilgamesh's face into a back flip, a jet of water shot out the tip of his keyblade, dousing the giant. Of course if Kel had failed to watch the left side and deflect the buster sword with the large "fake" printed on it (real subtle there gilgy), then that was just a hallucination as Beuce was having the everliving crap kicked out of him. Now there was a cheery thought.

But as i'm pretty sure Kel knows what he's doing, we're going to go ahead and say that was real. Gligamesh started dipping into his Arsenal a tad more now. In his lower arms he pulled out a blue longsword which appeared to be made of water as well as a thin greatsword resembling the sun. Still no Ea. That was good news.

Ananta couldn't tell what her teammates were trying to acheive. They seemed to be all over the place, but at the same time, they were working. Ananta herself was standing there, about ready to just send a lightning bolt towards Gilgamesh. She didn't like standing in the back, attempting to defend, but she knew she was weak and couldn't do much in the way of physical damage. All she had was her magic and that caused her to doubt herself. She doubted that in the near future, she would be of any use. She felt like she needed to just give up. Giving up, however, was not a good thing, she thought. If she gave up, she would die and well, that wasn't what she wanted to do. Not before restoring her world that is. But she also had friends here that shared a common bond with her and she needed to protect them the best she could.

Looking at each of them, she thought about what they meant to her. Suffice to say, the only one here that meant anything was Beuce but even then that was stretching it. Lowering her keyblade, she scratched her head and played with one of the braided pieces of hair. What could she do next, what? Could she try and cast lightning and do some damage, but at the sacrifice of a chance to protect Wart, Goofy, and herself? Or could she rush forward and stab Gilgamesh with an ice shard in the hopes that his arm would freeze over? The second part was doubtful, seeing as she just wasn't strong enough. Gripping her keyblade, she realized all the doubt from before, the doubt that she was useful, was coming back to her. Shaking her head, she slashed the keyblade in the air. She was mad at herself and only herself for being weak.

Holding her arm up, Ananta began to gather cold air around her hand. The cold was stinging and she was sure she might have a frozen hand, but she didn't want to rely on her keyblade so much. As soon as she thought enough ice had formed, she shot a bolt of blizzard straight at Gilgamesh, even going so far as to say "Blizzard!" with her spell as well.

Following Beuce's lead, Kel made sure to deflect the other attack going for him while he was attacking. When their attacks were finished, Gligamesh pulled out two more sword to do battle with. Man, as less surprising as it probably should've been, he was well armed for a 4 armed giant. Still he hand to run out of blades sooner or later, all they needed to do was last until he did or got tired. It would probably be a long fight until that happened, but they could make it, especially since they have someone to heal them this time, that alone made it a whole lot better.

Back to the matter at hand, Kel held up his keyblade to block the swing of one of his four sword. Good thing it was one. Two might've been a bit harder and three, well three would be quite difficult without a second keyblade. He wasn't fast enough to dodge something like that. Now before something like that could happen, he push back the sword that he was holding back and used the opening to charge right at the giant and strike him with his keyblade. Now just like how Beuce was hopping he had his back, Kel was hoping for the same thing as he leap off him.

Unless of course by some miracle Gligamesh would either completely ignore him to do Ananta and Stratos attacking him from a distant or more likely from Beuce beating attacking him, he could land safely and proceed to giving Beuce that backup that they agreed on. Otherwise he was going to need luck and quick reflexives (one of which he did have) to avoid being sliced up in the air. Only time, and this post finally ending would tell.

Stratos had been rather happy with the way things had been going up to this point in the fight. Beuce had finally started doing something. Granted, he seemed to be completely spacing out and looked like he was trying to think of something really important. Only for him to ask something like he was some sort of obsessive compulsive gun slinging kiddie, and wonder about some weird triangle or whatever. It was then that Beuce rushed towards the opponent and attacked him and continued to fight only for him to get backed up by Kel to fight the man head long as well. Just as he had planned. Ana was busy firing lightning bolts at the dude, and that was good too because more damage meant this weapon freak would probably go down faster.

So that just left Stratos with fulfilling his role as magic attacker as well. However, he was kind of worried about how he would do that at all. Seeing as he had already cast two spells already, and that he only had 1 MP left, he wasn't going to be able to keep up this constant barrage of attacking from behind forever. So he had one blizzard left to use, and if he didn't then he wouldn't be doing as much damage as he could be, but his physical attack stat was nothing to brag about. Not to mention he felt way weaker than when he left the land of depar- oh hey wouldn't you know. Stratos suddenly felt like he was wayyyy stronger than before. Like whoa, he felt his raw vitality go up to the point where he could actually fight things and not die in just a few hits. Not to mention his skin felt more like iron than it did before, physical attacks beware. Also, what the hell was this new magical defense thing he felt inside of him. That was certainly new. While physically he felt the same, magically he felt his powers had risen to levels that were probably on par as to what they were before. Finally, he felt like he had more capabilities in terms of skills he could use and just general things.

Thinking of just what these capabilities entailed, his mind raced as he knew what he had to do in order to fulfill his role as magical damager tank...dude. Minus the tanking part because that wasn't his role and the others were pretty well suited for that anyway. At least he thought they were since he didn't think front line fighters would be particularly squishy. Regardless, Stratos went to go do his master plan. While Gilgamesh was facing Kel and Beuce, Stratos began running only to break into a sudden burst of dodge rolling. Why? Because rolling was way faster than running, duh. Rolling between the legs of the multi armed multi weaponed foe, Stratos looked to his friends and said, "yo," giving them a short wave. He then channeled some of his magical energy in order to help them out and do something completely out of nowhere. As Gilgamesh advanced on the three now Stratos then used the power of the earth that he had recieved and cast mine square, creating a layer of mines between him and Gilgamesh, only for the man to actually walk into them and explode. Dealing the damage, Stratos began dodge rolling the hell out of there so that Gilgamesh's fury wouldn't completely kill him. Getting back near Ana, who was probably ready to cast more magic, he then waited for the next round of attacks against this man.

It had been a little while since they left. Kross hadn't been behind them, and they didn't bring Maurice, the only person that actually knew the way to the castle. They were searching blind. "Hey, Karina," He began to reconsider his actions, "Maybe we should turn back. Maurice was the only one who knew where the castle was... and I'm worried that girl might have hurt Kross because of our disobedience." It wasn't the first time others had taken offensive onslaught towards those because of Eon's actions. His mother and father both were executed because of his mouth. "It's your choice though. I'll stay with you no matter what you decide."

Eclipse's answer brought up more questions than answers, the mystery keyblader sounded female but that was the only thing he knew about her. His fists clenched, this person was enigmatic, and her words brought even more mystery. He tilted to the side. He stepped infront of Maurice protectively and looked at Eclipse."Okay Eclipse, why are you interfering with our mission?"He asked her, he would not draw his keyblade for now, crossing his arms and rubbing his arms uncomfortably. "You're not from home, from the Land of Departure, and I don't know any wielders like you. Master Yen Sid would have told me about you."He said, looking back to Maurice, he didn't want to compromise his identity but this girl was not giving him much of a choice. He placed his hand on the old man's shoulder and looked at Eclipse."We think our friends are at that castle, we just want to see them."

Karina slowed her glider to listen to Eon. He had a point, she had no idea where she was going and Maurice wasn't even with them. To be honest Kroaa never even crossed her mind, but there was concern what was happening to him too. Karina stopped when Eon told her it was her choice and that he would follow whatever she decided. "Why?" She asked then thought to elaborate on her question."Why let me decide? Why follow me?? Have you not realized.... I do things without thinking. My actions are rash and generally selfish. I am not smart, I can't plan. Why would you follow me? Why would anyone think it a good idea to follow me? I am not deciding. It is up to you. Make your own choice and this time I will follow you before I do something so stupid that I end up dead..." Karina's voice was filled with anger but there was a little sadness at the end as well. She sat completely still on her glider, her hands gripping the handles tight enough her knuckles went white. That had been something Karina had wanted to sat for a while, every time someone asked her what they should do, or blindly followed her actions. She didn't want to be responsible for someone else getting hurt because of her thoughtless actions. She could care less if in the end it was her getting hurt. She didn't think she would be able to live with herself if she had to know that it was her fault someone got hurt bad or killed. She didn't look up at Eon while awaiting his decision. Her eye stared at her white knuckles. She was trying her best to hide the anger and sadness but averting her eyes and looking down so he couldn't see her clenched jaw, but she knew she was probably doing a very bad job of it.

Her reasoning was sound, but at the same time, her own explanation was her answer. Eon stopped alongside her. Once she stopped speaking, he placed his hands onto hers and looked at her with a smile. "I say that because I want to protect you. Those very reasons are why I want to follow you, to make sure you don't accidentally get hurt. No one can always fight alone." He tried to be as warm and comforting as possible. He liked Karina, seeing her upset only made him want to make her smile. But now they needed to hurry back. "C'mon. Lets go back." He removed his hand and waiting for her response. @~Phoenix~

Karina didn't say anything in response, she didn't know how to respond. Instead she simply nodded and got ready to depart. They did need to check up on Maurice and Kross after all. Though Karina didn't smile or really show any sort of appreciation she did appreciate Eon trying to comfort her. He was a good friend, she had to admit. It took her a minute to get going once again but she did turn around and start heading back in the direction in which she came. This time, unlike in the Land of Departure, she had paid attention to where she was going making it easy to retrace her path back to Kross and Maurice.

Once she had found her way back and she was satisfied that both Maurice and Kross where safe, she landed her keyblade glider behind them. She eyed Eclipse with a stern, annoyed look on her face. She refused to say anything, just sit back and watch. She didn't know what else to do if they weren't allowed to go anywhere. Karina's arms where crossed and her jaw clenched as she simply stared at the Eclipse not acknowledging Kross or Maurice. As long as the female hadn't hurt them was as far as it mattered to Karina.

Steel tapped his foot. "Which is why you should try to be a bit more subtle." Steel sighed. "If we aren't careful she'll learn what they're up to and the whole thing will be blown." he turned to Base. "Also: You never gave the answers you promised would come if I asked questions." He apparently still missed the the fact that Base had mixed up his words.

Beuce did indeed have Kel's back. As the sun-like blade came to strike him, Beuce hurled the keyblade in a strike raid fashion to intercept it. The wielder gave an approving nod as Stratos rolled behind the giant and used mines. His strategy was being implemented perfectly, and they were winning against the swordsmaster with relative ease. This would be over fairly quickly at this pace. However, he had a feeling this fight was about to get a lot tougher. The red-clad giant struck a pose. People only strike poses when something epic is about to happen. Here it came...

    "It's Morphing time!"

Yelled Gilgamesh. No...Not possible...It was worse than he feared. Their enemy was a Power Ranger! They had no hope against a force as mighty and morphing as this! All was lo- Oh no wait he just grew extra arms...False alarm they were fine. Although with the now doubled quantity of arms came more swords...Lovely, as if he did have enough. He held one to the sky. It greatly resembled the blade in the stone beside them only solid blue. That...could not be good for them. "Kel, gonna need to borrow your keyblade for a second!" He yelled running up and taking the blade passed to his left hand. In a flurry of spins, thrusts, and strikes, rapidly changing both weapons from forehand to backhand and halfway in between, he seemed to be countered all eight blades for a while, yet wasn't able to stop long enough for a counterattack. Why he couldn't be that useful all the time was a complete mystery. However, the swordsman he was against was no novice. Finally, Gilgamesh managed to break through Beuce's defenses and struck down a hard blow.

Beuce saw the blow coming. It was the blue Excalibur. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, bracing for impact, but was rather surprised by the result. He heard a noise indistinguishable from the squeak of a rubber duck. The blue sword had bounced off his skin and made said sound. Looking up, he saw a white number "1" float up and disappear shortly after. "The hell...? What just happened?" Asked Beuce rhetorically in confusion. He had expected that to hurt, but he hardly felt a thing.

"What?! Not again!" Gilgamesh yelled. Apparently this had happened before...In a rage, he began striking Beuce repeatedly with the false Excalibur. Each time with the same result. A squeak and a white number one above his head.

"Keep it up dude i think you're giving me a papercut." Taunted Beuce. Ordinarily being struck repeatedly with that particular blade wouldn't have been a problem, but due to the far lower amounts of HP in SOS than in final fantasy, Excalipoor wasn't quite as useless. On the thirtieth strike, Beuce was knocked back and thrown unconscious due to running out of HP. K.O.'d by the worst weapon in existence, Go figure.

Ananta's face was blank. She couldn't believe what had just transpired in front of her, yet she also could believe it. Running to catch Beuce, she saw he was knocked out. Standing ready to catch him, he slammed into her and they both flew back. Sliding across the ground, Ananta slammed against a building. Gritting her teeth from the impact, she looked at the big lug passed out in front of her. "You idiot, what the heck were you thinking?" she remarked, frowning. The pain that resulted from catching him was not worth it at all. "I should have just let you hit the ground, maybe that would've knocked some sense into you!" she exclaimed to the knocked out Beuce. Staring at him, she sighed and held up her hand. "Cure." she spoke, green, flowery, lifey energy spilling from her hand. Placing the hand on Beuce's chest, she looked over at Gilgamesh now.

He had eight arms now. That meant double the weapons. Her eyes turned to where Wart and Goofy were. Wart was all alone, standing there with a stick to try and defend himself. Goofy, on the other hand, had rushed forward to try and attack Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh himself raised one of his arms and simply swatted Goofy away. "Gawrsh!" Goofy exclaimed, being tossed away like a fly. He stood up and returned to defending Wart, laughing as he walked. "I don't think I can take another, so I'll leave it to you guys." he said to the keyblade wielders. Ananta sighed and looked down at Beuce. Still knocked out.

Well, her Cure spell had ran out and she was now at 2MP out of 4. Instead of dawdling around here, she stood up and leaned Beuce against this build. Patting his head, she turned to glare at Gilgamesh. Holding her keyblade, knuckles white from the grip, she rushed towards Gilgamesh. "Nobody hits on Beuce but me!" she exclaimed. She reached Gilgamesh in time to catch him off guard and landed a solid, resounding hit on one of his arms. This one held a watery, blue sword. The sword flew off towards Beuce and landed with a thunk into the ground. Now that Gilgamesh was down one sword, she knew that maybe he could lose his other swords. "Guys, try and knock his swords away, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have anymore than the ones he has!" she called to her comrades, stumbling backwards from Gilgamesh and blocking an attack.

If they wanted to try and win this, or at least to get Gilgamesh to run away, she had to think of a way for them to all not get knocked out like Beuce again. Knocking his swords away may work, but what about the other arms when they attack? Do they wait for Gilgamesh to get distracted? If they waited for that, they may eventually find themselves fighting Gilgamesh for quite awhile longer. Or even a Gilgamesh that would learn to not get easily distracted. That was a thing that just wouldn't due. Especially since Ananta just called out that they were going to start trying to knock away his swords. Realizing her mistake, Ananta facepalmed and stood there a moment. "I'm an idiot..." she admitted, glaring at the hulking octopus man. Octopus man. "Oh my god..." she said, beginning to laugh. "Gilgamesh, you're an octopus! What are you, Ultros?" she yelled, laughing even harder now. Dropping her keyblade, she began to roll on the ground at the thought of Gilgamesh being a large, purple Octopus with horrible teeth and large eyes. Suffice to say, she was probably going to die now.

Etrius didn't really care that Glen awoke in a bad mood. He was more worried about this deal between Flynn and Rapunzel. The girl was very sweet and all, but naive to what Flynn was capable of. He would've spoke up, but he decided not to and instead sauntered over to Cat, whispering, "Do you think this is a good idea? Flynn could trick us the minute he gets what he wants, and if that happens, we could have another wild goose chase. I'm surprised a man that crude couldn't be able to draw Heartless."
