Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Infinitely Stratos was confused by everything that had just been said here. Well, not everything. He got the fact that Merlin respected Yen Sid's choices fairly well, and that now Merlin gave them their blessing as Yen Sid had faith in them and therefore they must be experienced and responsible. Of course, that wasn't true at all...but hey, no need to interrupt the magician when he was liking them. It was then that Mizu seemed to think that someone else had to have been behind them coming here and doing their world shenanigans. Someone from "her time." This was where Stratos stopped understanding everything. Stratos wracked his brain for a bit, only to come to the conclusion that she had to be a time traveler...or speaking about her age group. Neither of which he knew of. It was then that Beuce interjected by saying that she must be talking about Krowley and that Mizu must be part of "The Order." Again...Stratos had literally no idea what was going on. "Wait, so who's Krowley and what's this order thing? Also, we have time travel mechanics? Damn! Do they make sense at least?" Stratos felt this last question was very important.

 

Ananta was far too tired to even take Beuce's jokes right now. "Hey, we could do that later, not in front of minors." she winked in response to him. Ananta took the karate chop to the head without even flinching. Looking at her comrades, she saw how they all felt pain from it...however, it did not feel more than annoying itch to Ananta. Watching Stratos draw out Yen Sid, she giggled at his rather crude art. Listening to Merlin and Mizu, she frowned. Scratching her chin, she heard Beuce mention Krowley. "The guy in the mask who seems like he can't take two seconds to interact with anybody else?" she added. "His name is Krowley, right?" she smirked. Thinking back, she remembered somebody else too. Somebody that knew Krowley. Tapping her head, she tried to think of his name. Snapping her finger, she blurted out "Blaze! His name was Blaze. And they talked out some weird belts that could mess with the time of worlds or whatever. Is that what you mean Mizu?" she said.

Thinking back to what Mizu had scolded them for, for now being careful about going to other worlds, Ananta looked down at the ground and seemed rather saddened. She crossed her arms and soon began to think of her world and the events that caused her to leave it. "Mizu...can I ask that you don't chastise us about going to other worlds...please?" she said, softly to the girl. Looking at Stratos, Ananta sighed. "We can explain later, Stratos. Try to keep things on topic...I don't want another case of the Beuce here." she scolded him.

 

"Sure, I'll drop you off with Luna." He said grabbing his arm.

"SWEET!" D'daear exclaimed in excitement, letting Steel take hold of his arm. He felt flying was going to be an amazing experience; assuming Steel was going to give him a piggy back ride. The mystical keyblader rose into the air, levitating in his awesomeness. Excitement was already weld up inside D'daear, his face exaggerating with the expression of he what he felt. His body lifted along with Steel's, the sensation of hovering motionless above ground causing his excitement to explode out of his mouth. "AWWWEEE-SSSSSOOOOOOOOMMMEEE!!!!!" he yelled at the top of lungs, getting all jittery. Steel did not pull him up, though, and instead added, "Oh, and hold on; I like going fast."

D'daear's smile turned upside down quickly. "Say what?"

Without warning, the two went flying after the group. The purple haired key bearer was sent in the opposite direction as his body dangled in the air like a rag doll. The air resistance surrounding them was intense, D'daear could feel the wind whizzing past his self at great velocity. Everything that was D'daear swayed in the opposite direction as the two sky rocketed towards the group.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" yelled nervously the frightened boy.

 

"I've taken out deer, rats, and many other animals during my travels. I'm pretty sure I can handle any kind of beast." Eon replied to Kross, trying to reassure him of victory. They had no need to be afraid. They had the keyblade. When the beasts began to fight, they'd strike back with light.

 

Kross only shook his head, it wasn't the beast he was cautioning them about."It's not fear."He answered Karina, just apprehension. he had a sort of mother hen instinct when it came to traveling in a party. As they came to the clearing, he could hear the distinct sound of dug up earth and claws scratching at roots. He stopped, there was a beast in the middle. he didn't look like he would attack them, at least not yet. brown eyes looked over the beast tentatively before he tilted his head. He approached the calm animal, despite Karina's warning gesture, stopping just feet from it and glanced up at it, his eyes not conveying fear, but curiosity."I want to ask you something." He stated."Are...you the Beast of the Castle up here? Did you run into another group like us?"

 

Steel zoomed up next to the others and stopped. The velocity caused D'daear to fly forward, but he kept him from crashing into anything and gently lowered him to the floor. He saw Krowley's frustration, Base's patience, and Luna's sadness. He couldn't quite get that last one. "Could a simple statement from me really cause that much damage?" He asked himself concerned. He shook it off and approached the matter at hand. "We should probably try to get in.

 

Cat looked on at the scene in front of her. Honestly, she couldn't blame the horse for hating Flynn so much, but she didn't expect him to turn into a giant puppy in front of Rapunzel. When he wasn't trying to kill Rider, he was actually a really sweet animal. Suddenly though, Rapunzel called out towards the trees and a girl responded. Was that who they'd been following earlier? It had to be. She raised her arm up out of the thicket, resigned to the fact that she'd been found, and Cat walked over to her. "Hey!" She didn't raise her voice. She just called out to the girl. "Why're you still hiding if we know where you are?" As she got closer, she knew there wasn't any danger. After all, if she'd wanted to hurt any one of them, she would've done it while she had the element of surprise. She pulled the branches back and saw the girl squatting down in the bush. She was wearing the brown cloak from before, but the hood had come down to show her short blonde hair. She was a bit surprised at her appearance given how well she'd managed to elude them, but that wasn't the major thing on her mind. "Why don't you introduce yourself? It seems a little rude for us to know Maximus before we know his... rider."

 

The velocity of it all was too intense. When Steel had reached their destination, he gave an abrupt stop which nearly threw D'daear flying were it not for Steel's quick reflexes. He was put down, with his purple hair a wild mess. His heart was racing, and the rush of adrenaline was coursing through him. "Thanks Steel..." he muttered in wide eyes. He took a couple of uncontrolled steps towards Base before he tumbled forward to the ground. With a thud, he was on the ground laying about while staring at the ceiling. He was catching his breath. When it all settled, he couldn't help but feel the urge to shout in excitement.

"NNNNN....THAT WAS AWESOME!!" he shouted, then relieving his nerves in a laughing fit as he closed his eyes. He was completely oblivious to what was going on, and most likely fading into the background scenery while the other four got down to discussing on how to get inside Belle's room.

 

Ananta tilted her head. Scratching her chin, she tapped her foot and looked at Mizu as she talked about somebody named Lea and Krowley being some kind of master. "What could Krowley possibly be a master of?" Ananta looked at Mizu with a puzzled expression. He always seemed pretty overconfident with himself, trying to stay away from everyone as often as possible, and most certainly not talking to anybody. "Let me guess, Lea is this Blaze person?" she said, staring at her other comrades. When Mizu mentioned some kind of belt and how Krowley isn't supposed to have one, Ananta placed her hands on her hips. "But, Krowley does have a rather gaudy belt around his waist." she mentioned. "Is that what you mean?"

 

"NNNNN....THAT WAS AWESOME!!"

Base looked down at his discombobulated apprentice. "How's the floor, D'daear? Comfy?" Base joked with a smile before offering his hand to pull the wavering, havering comrade up.

"Well isn't that just plain rude! Didn't even bother to ask!"

Granted: everything that normally didn't talk in other situations talked in this castle. Apparently that went for large wardrobes as well, but Base was nonetheless startled by the suddenness of the dresser's outburst.

"Erm, sorry, Wardrobe. Er, Madam." What pleasantry was used for household appliances? "We need to be getting somewhere, and you are ever so slightly in our way. If you are capable of movement, then that little nudge would be greatly appreciated." Base, as always, tried to be the diplomatic one.

 

Well Kel was planning on gauging her reaction to his question before mentioning Krowley or Blaze, but seeing as how both Beuce and Ananta jumped the gun on that one, his plans were slightly altered. He still got a good enough reaction that basically confirmed what he was going to ask. "So back in his time, Krowley is a master then." Thinking back on how he always saying to be careful on what they did in the worlds, it made some sense. Then came mention of the belts again, which obviously meant that they were important for her to call fraud over them. "I assume that the belt is how Krowley got into this time." It was a reasonable guess considering what they were given to go off of.

 

Kaida listened to one of the strangers coming closer to her and rolled her eyes. She really was not ready to confront these three yet. She wanted to speak with them when they weren't around citizens of the world. When the female of the group came up to her (which she was glad it was the female because it was the one she was pissed at the least) she listened to demands to know her name because she was apparently being rude.

Kaida stood up simply smiled, "I don't have to introduce myself if I do not want to. Also, for the record: One. I am not the horse's rider, I found the horse along the way. Two." Kaida narrowed her eyes at Cat and whispered at her, "What are you three doing meddling in this world. You shouldn't be here."

 

Luna tried to stand up on her own but couldn't due to the injuries she received. With that, she remained in one spot as she saw the wardrobe awaken and speak toward Krowley. "I don't think that's the way to go. Why not try to ask if we can enter instead of just barging in?" Luna attempted to stand up once more and succeeded. She slowly made her way toward the wardrobe. "Excuse me! Not to interrupt your nap but may we speak to Belle and enter her room?" She lightly tapped the wardrobe's side and asked her question.

 

Stratos continued to be lost in this conversation as people started to talk about Blaze and Krowley and the Order and all these names that meant absolutely nothing to this boy yet. However, through sheer tyranny of will and perseverance and other such things, Stratos was able to piece together what was going on. So Mizu, Krowley and Blaze, whoever those last two were, were from a different time and were probably given keyblades to help preserve the natural order of everything or something akin to that. But then Mizu figured that Krowley wasn't actually here because Krowley didn't actually have either of the belts...assuming that these belts were the things they used to travel through time. "Well, the way I see it, in my horribly pieced together way, is that this Krowley guy who apparently traveled through time to get here, is either a) a fake. As in, some dude pretending to be the real Krowley and is actually the person with the other belt...don't really know why he'd do something like that, but yes, it could also be b) he created another belt or something. He could also just have it without you knowing about it." Stratos basically blurted out everything that went through his head at this moment, but was still 90% sure everything he said was totally baseless. Whatevs.

 

Kross silently listened to the hulking beast. His mannerisms seemed too formal to be bestial. Rejected by the world for being different, Kross could relate somewhat. Everyone underestimated Kross for being the weakest struggle player and because he seemed child like. He had something to prove. He shook his head and put his arms around himself. The way he described the cure to this beast's ailment, it sounded like..Kross observed the change in the beast man's stance. He made no attempt to take a battle stance himself. He shook his head twice and took a step towards the beast, unafraid."By terminate, you mean kill..this Hojo told you to kill people.."He concluded, tensing."Well I refuse to fight you, there's got to be some other way, just tell us how to get to the castle, I don't want to fight you."

 

Eon readied his keyblade, the beast looked angry and he had a goal worth fighting for. Their were other ways to go about such things, but for this beast, words would probably never reach through to him. Then, the unexpected happened, Karina offered to help the beast. She never said it outloud, but she had a sweet side to her. Eon figured that is just burst out from time to time. "We can help you, please believe us."

 

Cat listened to the girl's argument. It was weak, and she wanted an answer, but before she could protest she asked about their meddling in this world. "Whoa, whoa WHOA!" She took another step towards the girl. Now she was really starting to get on her nerves. "What gives you the right to say that? You're meddling in all of this just as much as we are. And even then, we help people!" Her whispers might've been a bit too loud, but she avoided getting too specific.

 

"And for the record, you do not talk to us like that." Etrius was standing behind Cat, eyes a glare but not red. He gave Glen an 'I told you so' look before stepping up and talking. "You say meddling. What are you doing? A bad job at sneaking around? We never asked you for your opinion."
"Look, if your not going to introduce yourself, leave us alone. We have work to be done, and we don't need anything slowing us down. We already have one third wheel in the group." Etrius' eyes fell not on Glen, but Rider. Etrius didn't sound mad at the newcomer, just a little sensitive because nobody believed that he had sniffed the newcomer out. He just had hoped that she would get it.
