Karina's response made Kross's eyes widen with fear, her stance..her raised hand, it was like a flashback happened, the dark side of his mind stirred to the horrors of his less-than-pleasant past. He shook it off, he couldn't let the fear grip him. She made herself an easy target for the beast and spread her arms. The beast's words made Kross tense, it looked like words could not reach him. He walked forward and put his arm infront of Karina, in the same hand, his keyblade appeared, Twitterpated. He put his keyblade straight behind him, pointing it to the ground and put his free hand forward, looking at the beast firmly."Fine, we'll defeat you and the man who is trying to steer you wrong, we'll free you!"He shouted the last part, prepared to fight.

 

"Yeah yeah, better get moving, better get to the snuggly duckling, in a crowd yay" Glen said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I wanna get moving as much as the rest of you guys, but I think before we do, somebody should apologize to us" he said, crossing his arms as he did so. He then sighed. "But..I guess that's too much to expect from someone we just met, so I'll put it aside for now for blondie- er, Rapunzel's sake" Glen added. He then turned his attention to Rapunzel, Flynn, and Maximus, and had to stifle a laugh at Flynn on the ground in pain. "I'm ready whenever everyone else is" the boy finished.​

 

Luna widened her eyes as she saw Belle in her gown. "Belle.....you look gorgeous!" Luna walked toward Belle. She then listened to Belle describe the Beast. Luna spoke up to introduce herself. "Forgive me for introducing myself but my name is Luna, Luna Kiatespira." She then sat down. "Forgive me for saying this, but the Beast packs a punch, just look at me. I'm practically breaking." Luna sighed as she finished her sentence.

 

"Forgive my companion's obnoxious and obvious obstructions." Base shot a stern look towards Steel. "All points aside, Luna is very right; you look beautiful." Base considered the possibility that escorting may have become necessary if Heartless intervention chose to rear its undeniably ugly head. It always seemed to be during some of the most inconvenient times that problems arose, but perhaps, this time, they would get lucky.

 

Stratos's question that he went to ask Ms. Mizu remained unanswered. Well, not so much unanswered as it was completely ignored altogether, almost as if it never existed. Whatever. As Ana, Kel, and Beuce all talked to each other about scoring bases with others, Stratos remained his normal presence of just sort of being there. Granted Ana told him that he'd get used to all of this, though he simply smiled and said, "I believe I'm already adjusting."

Now that all the exposition was out of the way, Mizu, Merlin, Goofy and the rest of Keyblade...Group...they'd need a better name. Anyway, they were all now ready to get going on their forest expedition. Stratos gave a wave goodbye to Blizzagolem, Wart and Gilgamesh as they left. It was odd that they were just trying to kill the big man just a few pages ago. Stratos had no idea which direction they were going, so he just followed the flow of the group. Though he was still curious about something. As a fairly average tank who has a fairly rampant curiosity for magic, Stratos decided to ask Mizu a question. "So Miss Mizu, what was that spell back there? I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a kind of magic like that before."

 

Kaida felt her fist clench in anger and lifted it, ready to give a full blow to the back of his head. Instead, Kaida ended up walking up to him and hitting him upside the head. She let out a quick breath and a chuckle and spoke, "Listen friend. I would love to apologize but if you talk to me like that then I won't." The blonde played with her hair for a moment because it was irritating her and then turned back towards the man, "And isn't it usually polite to say your name back when someone introduces themselves? Give me a break here."

She let out another breath in irritation before speaking, "Okay I'm sorry. Let's just help the birthday girl out now that I've got that outta my system." Kaida then helped push the people along in an irritating manner to start heading to the Snuggly Duckling, Flynn finally started directing them to head on. Finally getting people into the cave to start this leg of the journey. Kaida just tended to avoid fully listening to what people were saying until they got out of the cave.​

 

Steel was banging his head against the wall next to the door; this was not going well. However, Base's sentence about how obnoxious he was gave him a brilliant idea. He suddenly stopped banging his head, looked towards the others and with sudden energy and a straight face stated: "Base is absolutely right!" Not taking a moment to view his companions likely confusion, he continued. "You don't have the time to sit around listening to our obnoxious machinations! Allow us to escort you to the ballroom to satiate or concerns." He nodded his head. "Yes, because that's what people like us do: escort. Without interfering. So that People can make their own choices, and come to their own conclusions." He knew he wasn't being very subtle, but he didn't really care. "Yes... we don't interfere."

 

Cat listened to Kaida and chuckled slightly when she smacked him upside the head before realizing that none of them had introduced themselves. "Oh, right. I'm Cat." She held her hand out for Kaida to shake, hoping that the formalities could help to avoid any unnecessary conflict between now and their arrival at the Snuggly Duckling. She turned and saw that Flynn was finally going to lead them on, but before she could walk the three of them were being pushed by the new girl. "Hey, hey. I can walk!" She hopped just enough to get away and ran to catch up to Rapunzel and the others. She got up to Maximus and began to stroke him. He really was a good horse -- after all, he'd just been following orders when he looked for them -- and she smiled just a bit. Though the moment she caught Flynn in the corner of her eye, she turned away and scoffed. She thought she might be able to manage a journey with the scumbag, but she already knew it was going to be much harder than just walking.

 

"It cant be helped." He said, staring at Karina. He could see her struggle with that matter at hand. What were they going to do, let themselves be beaten senseless? Well, Eon made for a good punching bag for obvious reasons, but that was beside the point. "We need to at least weaken him. We don't have to kill him." His keyblade readied up as he took the initiative to charge first. His keyblade was ready to strike down onto him.

 

With Mizu summoning two ice golems to stay along side Walt and Gligamesh, Kel didn't see a need to worry about the sword at all. Which meant that he could focus more on the task at hand. It was clear from what he seen and hear about the masked figure, or Lady Mim, that she was very proficient at magic. While they did have Mizu and Ananta, that was about it for mages and if she could somehow prevent herself from taking physical damage, then this would be a problem for most of them. Hopefully nothing like that would happen, cause while he did know like 2 spells, they probably won't be effective against a witch. Unless she's put on a stake, then he could use fire to burn her.

 

Beuce tapped his finger against one of the blizzagolems. They were solid alright. One of those would be tough to bring down, and Mizu just up and summoned two of them. Mystics weren't so underpowered after all it seemed. He breathed on the Golem, causing fog to appear in its left leg, which he quickly wrote his name in. "I claim this golem. It has my name on it." After getting some odd looks, he continued on and followed the party. "So how are we going to find this witch person? Maybe we'll just stumble upon some old lady who lives in the woods. Maybe if she weighs more than a duck..."

 

The lady in the gown was beautiful. Following Bases lead was the right idea, so he bowed as well. "A pleasure to meet you as well, ma'm." was all that was uttered from him. D'daear faded back into the background for the moment, watching as things transpired. Steel was banging his head against the wall, Luna was hopefully feeling better, while at the same time caught in the middle of conversing with the lady along side Base, and Krowley. There wasn't much for him to say, as he felt it better to just watch and learn how outsiders mingled with others from this world. The group traded words with the woman, with Steel dropping a few hints to which D'daear didn't quite understand at the moment.

"Why would we need to escort this lady?" the words swam in his mind, whilst raising an eyebrow in question. Being new to this whole gig, he didn't quite understand the dangers each world held. Who knows, perhaps something was bound to happen that through, countless experiences, compelled the group to need to escort this fine young lady to her evening event.

 

"We are entirely at your disposal, Miss." Base lightly nudged D'daear and whispered to his ally, "Keep your eyes everywhere. Especially where you can't see." Base himself had his eyes on the shadows closest to him. Cast by suits of armor in candlelight, the shadows could spawn Shadows with claws that were all too interested in clawing into the chest cavities of individuals with hearts. "Look for any trace of yellow; event the faintest glow. But keep a smile." Indeed, Base kept a pleasant smile while he remarked the solemn note.

 

Stratos was waiting for his answer from Mizu when Beuce decided to ask a question about how they know when they would actually find this witch of the black forest...that may or may not be black. Stratos responded by saying, "oh, well I'm sure if we just keep talking and walking in any general direction we'll get there eventually. It seemed to be that way for how we got to the tower where we met Merlin... I'm also confused as to what good finding a woman who weighs more than a duck would solve? If we're looking for a witch we'd be better off looking for someone made of wood."

 

Luna nodded as she listened to Belle and Krowley's discussion. "Please, allow us to escort to tonight's festivites." Luna extended out her hand toward Belle. She then looked at her clothes and her sleeves were falling apart as well as her vest. "I do hope you can forgive my attire. Luna extended her hand toward Belle once more.

 

Glen, surprisingly, showed the slightest hint of a grin. He had done the impossible. He had gotten a female to admit defeat, men forevermore would worship him as a god. "My name's Glen, and I accept your apology" he said being somewhat friendly. The boy wasn't sure what Kaida was trying to do when she began pushing them forward, so he quickly took a hop forward and got himself walking without her help. "These legs aren't painted on you know, I do know how to walk" he said, once again in a somewhat friendly tone. Seemingly back to his cheerful self, he began following Flynn as the thief led them onwards towards the Snuggly Duckling.​
