Merlin looked to Mizu, who didn't seem keen on answering any questions. She wore a determined face and didn't show any sign outside the mission. She was only ten, but she wanted to prove that she could manage this with or without her help. She was also very intrigued by the "Nequa" character they passed by earlier. If Gilgamesh was right, she could very well be a threatening match for her magic. Most of her actual skill was taught by her sister Rin. Just the thought of her was upsetting her, so she put on a brave face and carried on.

"Blizzagolem, lad, is a very powerful spell that only the most powerful of mages can learn. With keyblade wielders it customary to know at least 3 spell tiers, being the basic, second upgraded "-ra," and third upgrade; "-ga." However in total, there are at least 7 tiers for basic elemental spells. Most are considered to get to the fourth really... Now, these spells often fit into one of three classes; Basic, Advanced, and Ultimate. There is a fourth, however a strong master must be had to learn this spell. 'Blizzagolem 'is in that class, being the 6th tier as the "-golem" upgrade. Takes quite a bit of magic, but they make for suitable minions indeed."
"Gee, could you summon them?" Goofy questioned.
"Oh pish posh with it Mr. Goof. I'm an academic. I specialize in the magic of time and space, nature and levitation, Gravity and altered sciences!"
"So uh... is that a no?"
Merlin adjusted his glasses choosing to focus on something on the task like Mizu, "Ahem, aside from that little lesson, we should be approaching Mim's"-"
"I think I can see a hut over there!" Ananta exclaimed, pointing off.
By her remark, there was indeed a small hut with a lit chimney in the near distance.

"By jove, hehe, seems we've arrived. And by the looks of that chimney, I'd say she's brewing something wicked no doubt. If that other witch is with her, I doubt charging through the front door is an option..."

    GROUP A

"I hope not," he replied to D'daear. He sincerely hoped that he wouldn't have to fight his friend here, but things were growing more and more tense as he didn't even know what to say. What could he say? At his encounter in Dwarf woodlands, Aux wouldn't even acknowledge him, so what could he do here to change his mind. Steel was even giving him a go ahead, and all he could think about was what it would take to convince him.

    "Release Snow White...........now!" Luna warned.
"Far from here, but happily sleeping. Just because you cage something doesn't make it expendable... in fact, I think it would put value on it." He kept a close eye on the girl as she edged towards him. "And would you really wish to spoil such an evening? As I understand it, tonight is very important. Loud violence would no doubt disturb it."

Krowley looked onto his friend. "So what is it you want then?... What will it take, to bring you back with me?" His heart beat quickly, hoping it was a reasonable answer.
Aux raised his metal glove and stroked the chin of his mask in thought. After short deliberation, he placed it back down. "Nothing..."

    "... Nothing?" he repeated.

"I just... want a way out. The darkness got a hold on me and... I don't think I can get out of it's hold. I feel like I'm suffocating. I'm afraid..." His tone of voice changed as he hung his head. More emotional and empathetic.

Krowley had read the journals on the many horrid things his friend had done, but for his own care for a friend, it didn't matter to him. Aux was actually reaching out to him. He would do whatever it could to make sure he was re-accepted. He's made mistakes, but he was looking for redemption. He would happily oblige.

He looked through his iron mask, straight onto Krowley's face. He reached out his left hand, with his palm open in a help-pleading gesture. "Will you help me?..."

Without even knowing how, his legs began to walk down the stairs and past Luna. Not even a command from his own head, his body was moving on it's own to help his friend. He couldn't help it. This is what he wanted. To just have him say sorry and have everything go back to the way it used to be. The three of them; Aux, him, and their other friend, spending time together at the academy. Just like old times. Before darkness or responsibility came into the mix. So much simpler...

Ten feet away, Krowley lent out his left hand, to grab his, seeing as he got closer, just how much taller he was than himself. "Aux... I-"
In a quick flick of the wrist, Aux turned his wrist in a counterclockwise motion, having his palm now fully facing the former friend. A ball of dark energy was quickly formed and shot onto his chest, knocking Krowley all the way back to the stairs. He made a large skid before the back of his head scraped the bottom step. He was now lain down on the floor. His back flat on the ground, and his hopes diminished. His friend just manipulated him so easily. Made him think there was still a chance... He wanted to cry.
"Why..." he spoke softly. The knock to the chest did a number on his breathing.
"WHY!" he repeated with a tear being shed behind his goggles.

Aux put his hand back down.
"Because..." he began, with his return to monotone. "You just make it too easy."

Eon grew slightly irritated with Karina's words. She continued to lie to herself. Then he saw her arm, the scars that covered it. Physical abuse and mental abuse were nothing new to him. The two had similar upbringings, so why were they so different? Was Eon going to turn out like her when he continued towards adulthood? He refused to believe that. He needed to speak up.

"Karina, you say you know yourself, but everything you've said this fight against Vincent was a lie. I think we, your friends, understand you better than you yourself. Why do you continue to shackle your true self from the world? I wonder." He stopped speaking and walked over to Vincent. The words he said were sure to get Karina's mind racing.

"Now how can we help you big guy..."

Karina was steps away from breaking down. Everything that had been going on lately here and in Land of Departure was getting to Karina, confusing her. She didn't know what to think anymore. "Eon..." Her voice began to crack. "...I-I just don't know anymore. For the last seventeen years all I have been told by both my family and peers is how useless and stupid I am. That I don't belong anywhere and shouldn't have been born. By this point I start to believe it. It's all I know...." Karina was sitting next to Vincent, her legs curled up to her chest. Karina then looked over at Vincent. "So what now?" She asked

Eon sat next to Karina and rapped the jacket she lent him over her shoulders. "Blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family. If you trust me, we are family. I see you as a part of mine." Vincent was kind of knocked out cold so really couldn't answer. Not until a certain person took over his body and replied.

His head looked down at the snow as he began to circle in it with a twig he picked up. "We aren't different. I was told everything was my fault, that I was garbage, that my parents could have been spared if I was just never born. Thankfully, I had a friend who taught me some things. He always told me That people don't mold who you are, you yourself do."

...Was she flirting with him? Well, that was an uncommon event. Beuce refrained from making a bad joke in order to look at the hut in front of them. Dark, creepy, in the middle of a forest, that's a witch's hut if he's ever seen one. Merlin cautioned them. Going through the front door would probably be a bad idea with both witches in the same place. The moment he said that, Beuce formed a strategy in his mind. Mizu could may well win them the fight. She would summon a few Golems and have them kick in the front door. That'd create quite the racket. Meanwhile, they could sneak around the back and do a bit of recon. Size up the situation and get the jump on them. Possibly even get the surrounded before they knew what was happening. But on the other hand....

    TRIGGER EVENT
Be strategic( > )Be an idiot

Be an idiot it was! Beuce knelt down to get a running start. "Hold on Ananta. I'm going to prove to Merlin here that when you're the with B king, the front door..." He took off charging at it. As he got within range, he jumped into a flying kick. "Is ALWAYS an option!" The door yielded without much effort underneath the force of his foot and flew open. In Beuce's imagination, there were three judges sitting at a table holding up signs with 10s on them.

So a frontal assault was out of the question. So that meant that they could either try to find another way in or lure her out. The problems was, he had no idea how either of those ideas would work. The luring plan could work, cept he had no idea what would work as bait and there was no way that he was going to be live bait for a witch. That could lead to all kinds of horrible things. Suddenly as per expected, well expected of Beuce, he ran towards the hut and crashed through the door with Ananta still on his shoulder. "Well she knows were here now." Kel said after a quick facepalm. So much for the element of surprise. "Anyone got a Plan B or exit strategy?"

"Loyalty...?" Karina said quietly to herself. To be honest she was not all that familiar with the concept of loyalty making people family. She had never really been that close to anyone before. Karina only then realized how selfish she was being. A few times now Eon had brought up his parents deaths, but instead of trying to help him she would simply argue with him against whether or not she was useful. Karina pulled the jacket tight around her. "Sorry." She said softly as a tear slipped down her cheek. Her lip quivered and it seemed like she was going to cry but at the same time s light smile could be seen. "I'm sorry." She repeated again not knowing what was coming over her.

Base wanted to grab Krowley's shoulder as he passed. He wanted to stop him. He distrusted the dark figure, but something was drawing Krowley towards what seemed so predictable to anyone but Krowley. The spot occupied by the downed Krowley had been occupied by Base the instant before Krowley was sent flying back; it took a sudden jump for the musical Keyblader to avoid being crushed by Krowley in his full armor.

"Krowley!" Base hastened to Krowley's side. He knew it would be a mistake to just try and pick him up after a hit like that. Krowley would have to be suffering some massive muscle fatigue. Base just had to make sure Krowley wasn't dead before his next move. He heard faint words from the inside of the mask, but could not make them out; he saw faint movements in Krowley's limbs. That was all it took.

Base jumped to his feet to stand between Aux and the others. He stood alone at the base of the stairs, with his Keyblade in hand. "Pretending to surrender and biting back when the guard's down. Don't know who taught you how to fight, but a majority would consider that a war crime. Not to mention something only an incredibly weak individual would do." It was slightly ironic in the fact Aux possessed an Oxen build, and Base had only the leanest of muscle. Base had grown strong, even without the Keyblade, but Aux wouldn't need a weapon to try and take Base on; he was big enough to be a challenge from the beginning. But Base stood. He stood between the threat and his friends.

Ananta wasn't on Beuce's shoulder. She had actually gotten off, vaulted off to be more precise, a bit before that. Of course, she didn't quite expect Beuce to just bum rush into the hut and break down the door. Having listened to Merlin's speech about the different levels of magic, Ananta looked at him. "All that magic? Mizu may be able to do such magic, but she is far too naive as of now. I don't expect her to use it all too easily and with a great amount of control." Ananta commented. It was then that she witnessed Beuce charging into the front door of the hut. Ananta reached forward to try and stop him, but she was far too late. He had already crashed through the front door. Gritting her teeth, Ananta clenched her fist and punched the palm of her other hand. "I'm going to pummel him when we get out of here!" she said, through her teeth, before she ran off to follow him. She approached the hut and looked around inside from the doorway, looking to see if Beuce was actually okay or if he had died. "Beuce? Are you okay? Did you die?" she called out. "Please don't die, we need you!"

Kross listened to Karina as she spoke, when she sat and Eon sat beside her, he sat opposite. He leaned back, using his hands to support himself. "Eon's right, you don't have to be related to be a family." He said. He glanced at the two and sat up more, making a frame with his fingers. Karina's abrasiveness and Eon's niceness reflected his parents perfectly."Karina, I'm sorry about the outback. I know that crippled your trust in me." He pulled his knees to his chest." I'll work hard, so that you both can see me worthy of being a friend. Lets complete this mission."he said with a confident grin, they could do this together.

Kaida was paying absolutely no attention to what was going on with Glen and Cat, because frankly, she didn't care about them. She had no real reason to and she was already angry over the fact that Glen decided to just go and get drunk on the job. She knew for a fact these people were not from the academy because if they were, there would be consequences for this.

Kaida instead paid attention to Flynn and Rapunzel, and the new one who was holding a wanted poster up and questioning if it was Flynn. Kaida quickly jumped in saying, "Oh no, no no no. Silly you. Can't you see? They um." Kaida moved the man's hand and looked at the picture and spoke, "He clearly has a different nose."

Stratos was actually quite interested in the talk of magic and the various tiers that went along with it. As things stood, he obviously only had the first tier of magic. But, despite being a guardian, Stratos actually wanted to know more about these seven tiers of magic. He wondered if, later on, he could learn how to use that kind of magic from Mizu or Merlin. Though based on his response, most likely not Merlin. It was then that they had reached the hut, and their plan of action already went underway. Beuce charged straight through the front door, guns blazing, minus the guns, with Ana following after him because she was pretty bi-polar with the dude and was flipping between the Tsun and the Dere quite frequently. Regardless, Stratos walked over to Kel and said, "well, I'm sure that given the circumstances we can most definitely run like the dickens away form the duo of witches if things turn sour. I'm expecting it to be more like us getting thrashed and then just ensuing with magical barriers and many a common enemy fight, so I doubt an escape plan is necessary."

Luna stopped in her tracks as Krowley walked past her. She blinked her eyes and in that next moment she saw Krowley get sent flying back with a great force. Luna turned her head toward Krowley and she was speechless. Luna stood there for a few brief moments. She clenched her fist as she gipped her keyblade tightly. " Why you?!?!" She turned toward Aux. "How could you do that!?!?" She charged full speed ahead at Aux. Deep within her heart, more rage and sorrow started festering and kept growing as a figure emerged from the darkness and spoke. "Playtime's over!!". Meanwhile, Luna continued to charge toward him until a sharp force in her back, chest and forehead stopped her movement. "N-no.........n-not n-now...." Her vision darkened as she found herself collapsing a few centimeters away from Aux. She then her a dark voice in her heart speak out to her. "Nighty night......Your Highness....". Luna blacked out as the roots of her hair turned black.

Kel couldn't help but chuckle at Stratos's words. "True, if my assumptions right, she's not even in the hut." That was how he saw the situation playing out at least and with Beuce's bursting through the door, things could only go a few different paths and not many of them were good. "Guess we might as well join them." He didn't like the idea of potentially walking into a trap, but they didn't have much choice at this point, so he reluctantly headed towards the hut.

"You could've already guessed that he is an outlaw, milady." Etrius said quietly over the hubbub. Unlike Kaida, Etrius held a cool face, uninterested in the environment, and was shuffling his deck of Tarot cards as he usually did if he needed to process thoughts. "If I could only guess what else he plans to do. If you ask me...." Etrius paused as Glen made his statement before saying, "Excuse me."
Etrius put his his cards away, and summoned his keyblade discreetly. He spun the blade quickly, and threw it. The blade smashed threw Glen's beer glass and hit the wall with a thunk. Etrius walked quietly over to retrieve it, saying to his drunken/sober colleague, "Drink any more and I'll blow it out your stomach, drunken wretch." By now, Etrius was a bit sickened. Considering that Flynn had taken them to a pub, and Glen embarrassing the hell out of the group, Etrius decided that in Glen's current state he would be a good distraction if trouble came by, but he would need to be riled up. Etrius walked over to Cat was sticking around, leaning on the wall next to the window, asking to her, "I would think that Flynn is no longer any value to be protected?"

D'daear stood by and watched as Krowley proceeded towards the enigma of a figure that stood before them. It seemed to have been a bad idea, he could tell from the vibe Base was giving off. "What is going on here?" he murmured under his breath, low enough to not to be heard. Were they friends? Looked like that way from the way Krowley was reacting to the figures cry for help. Still, something didn't quite feel right. With the way Luna was hostile at the man, Steel noting that he was a clear threat, and the way Base was holding back from stopping Krowley all pointed to Aux; as Krowley had just called him, having an ulterior motive. D'daear took a step forward, outstretching his hand towards Krowley's direction. He too now felt compelled to stop him. "Krowley-" A second later he saw the armored individual fall down the steps. Base immediately took point, in front of the downed party member, concerned for his friend. It was a heart wrenching moment, to watch Krowley extend his hand out to someone he clearly cared about, to be fooled by a ruse manipulative of Krowley's own emotions. An indignant anger weld up within D'daear's heart. He ran to Base's side, summoning his keyblade without much thought. It felt easier now, as opposed to before.

"Pretending to surrender and biting back when the guard's down. Don't know who taught you how to fight, but a majority would consider that a war crime. Not to mention something only an incredibly weak individual would do." Base spoke out.

With a nod of agreement, D'daear took stance just in case. "That's just low..." he tried to build on, slowly taking his eyes off of Aux to take a look at Krowley. "You can still stand, right?" he inquired, hoping the guy could shake it off. He didn't know what Aux was capable of, but if his teammates were willing to fight, then so was he. And just as he was starting build the will to fight, Luna charged in with keyblade in hand, yet falling after having taken a few steps. "Luna!" he shouted in concern. Just who was this Aux character? Such power, even capable of downing someone without moving.

Cat looked up at Etrius. She wasn't surprised that he'd come outside with her. If anything, she should've been expecting it. Lately, it seemed like he was always there when she'd fall to pieces. It didn't help to cushion the blow, mind you, but she was still happy to see him. A small smile grew on her face and she contemplated his question. "Right now, this is less about Flynn and more about Glen." She knew she'd crossed a line, but so had he. He was drunk, but he'd clearly known what he was doing, and that made his actions unforgivable in her eyes. "I trust that thief about as far as I can throw him, but he's the only one in our group who knows where to..." Her words trailed off as she looked over at Maximus, patiently waiting outside. Suddenly, she got the best idea. "Hey, Maximus! You think you could take us instead of Flynn?" Why hadn't she seen this solution before? Flynn was the only person in their group who knew their way around the world, but who would be better to escort them than a member of the royal guard?

Steel could not succeed in holding back his laughter. He stood at the top of the staircase, above them all expressing merriment as if their pain meant nothing. Maybe it didn't. Only his next words would tell.
"What a fool-HAHAHAHA" It seemed he just couldn't stop, but he pulled himself together for a few moments. He cleared his throat. "Krowley... I had no idea you associated... with such... Imbeciles-HAHA!" He burst out laughing once more. He fell to the ground and rolled around a bit; his book fading in a puff of black smoke. He knew it was overkill, but if he was going to laugh about such a petty insult, he might as well make a show of it. Besides; it would give him the chance to test how fragile Aux's pride was. After a few moments, he finally calmed down and rose from the floor. "Whew. Anyway. 'You make it too easy'? Anyone who talks like that is just begging to be destroyed." He kept his next thoughts to himself: the people who made it easiest usually weren't to be trifled with. As difficult as it would be for his friend, imagine the sweet sorrow Aux should feel were Krowley to be the one to impale him. He licked his lips at the thought: Not that anyone could see it. He returned his attention to the situation. He noticed Luna on the ground and frowned momentarily. However, no one noticed the swing in mood before it came full circle. He giddily jumped from the top of the stairs to a position safely between Luna and Aux. He knew that could make her his target, but things would wind up okay. "Honestly, I don't see why my companions see fit waste valuable breath threatening you, seeing as how you're practically doomed anyway." He wore a smug smile; another action no one could see. "Or at least, their breath is more valuable than the smog spewing out of -your- mouth. I mean, seriously, how much jealousy did you eat?" He honestly wasn't aware of how much of the problem was jealousy, as Aux's emotional makeup was difficult to decipher. However, a persons actions were influenced by many emotions, even if they weren't always aware of which ones: He could definitely sense jealousy in there somewhere. Steel swung his arm forward and summoned his keyblade. He took up his fencing position, and with an elegant taunt motion stated: "I have two more words of compassion for you my dear foe: 'Al and Toids'. He resumed his stance. "Or would you
    prefer 'Ice' and 'breaker?"

"Clearly..." Flynn added, peering closer at the misconception of his nose. Upon closer inspection, his eyelids grew lazy with disapproval. "Well now they're just being mean."
The thug's accusal drew a few heads, making Flynn more apparent and likely to be captured himself for the reward. "Uhh guys, we may want to head out through that passage right about now," he whispered to those closest to him. "They get their hands on me, then I'm jailed, and you're left without a guide."
Outside Rapunzel, the rest of the party didn't look all too concerned.
"Hey, Maximus! You think you could take us instead of Flynn?" Cat asked to the horse.
From the bar, he slyly grinned at Flynn getting his comeuppance that he shortly clopped his hoof once on the bar table to give a Morse 'yes.' His shoulders shrugged as to whether or not he could get the job done, but seeing as how he could get rid of Rider at this point, it didn't seem to matter. That, and he was a horse they couldn't understand.

The thugs were now huddling around and grabbing his limbs to hold him steady. He was smaller than most, making a lot of his struggling pointless. "Boys, stop! We can work this out!"
With the young woman the only one who didn't want to see him be beaten to a pulp. She knew he'd done some wrong, but he was still a person.
"Hey, leave him alone!" she yelled, whipping out her frying pan
"Please. Give me back my guide!" she began to thwack them with the pan, but seeing as they had tough armor on, she was just hitting the metal and hearing the clang that came off it.
Roughly five thugs now had him stretched like a rack with a bald, hook handed one preparing to make the punch with his non-hook hand. "Not the nose, not the nose, not the nose!" Flynn cringed and closed his eyes, preparing for a full, smolder breaking assault.
Wishing to still help him out, Rapunzel looked around the room for anything effective to whip at them with her hair. Thankfully, a sturdy branch from inside the underground pub was placed shy above the hook handed thug's head. With a quick lasso pull, she pulled back the branch, making her timing down to the second, but with enough pulling, she could feel the branch about to snap, releasing it in time to hit the thug on the head. Hear enough to hear the sound, and see his skin create waves off his bald head.
    "Put him down!" she yelled.

The whole place went silent, save for Maximus, who was licking out whatever liquid was in the glass served to him.
The hook handed thug spun his head around quickly, revealing his unamused, sneering face.
Now with their attention, she explained her case. "Okay, I don't know where I am, and I need him to take me to see the lanters, because I've been dreaming about them my entire life. Find your humanity! Haven't any of you ever had a dream?"
The hook handed thug took out his hook hand, while the rest held him in place. Hook hand walked up step by step to Rapunzel as if going to march up and strike her. Guarding herself with the pan, she was shocked by the words he said as he approached her.
"I, had a dream. Once," he said with big brown eyes. "I... wanted to be a pianist."
The rest of the thugs in the room reflected in their own heads about things they wanted in life. And before long, a swerve of dreams n ambitions were spoken out. Talks of alternate career paths and hobbies humanized these once ragged men into sweet, caring people.

"Anyone got a Plan B or exit strategy?" Kel asked.
"Oh! Oh! I've got one It's called the element of surprise!" Nequa said, cornering them from behind.
"So... Surprise!"Nequa said, flashing out her hands. Mizu was prepared to counter with a spell, but Nequa's hands were too fast.
    "Reflegora!" she shouted.
"Sleep!" Mizu cried, barely missing the first spell cast. Before the little girl's spell could be carried out, she and Merlin were placed in a solidified bubble of magic. Mizu's sleep spell was cast, but it was drawn out on to herself, causing her to sleep in her magical containment.
"Level 5 spell... you fiend!" Merlin examined, waving his fist.

"Yupyup! Can't cast magic if it's cast back to you! Sadly, my magic is only powerful enough to keep you to out of check, but seeing as you guys are the mot magically advanced, guess I picked right, huh?" She looked onto the other members of the group and warned them should they get any funny ideas. "Of course, it doesn't mean I don't have any left over for other spells..."
Goofy and the other four were left to to approach Nequa with caution.

Ananta watched events unfold before her. Magic was slung on both sides, but it seems the good side was losing. At least, Mizu was asleep for awhile, anyway. Gripping her keyblade, Ananta was thinking about what she could do. The magic she just witnessed was quite powerful. It rivaled her own magic and surpassed it greatly. This put her a little down, but then, she started to think. "I'm surrounded by magic...and yet I can't even cast a spell without having a chance to miss..." she said, looking at the ground. She began to despair, thinking of how weak her magic was compared to the other spells she had seen in her time on this world. Frustrated, Ananta looked at Nequa. "Why can't I be a good enough mage? Why can't I do anything with my magic? Why am I always the weakest whenever we go to new worlds..." she exclaimed, sadness filling her words and her heart. She walked towards Nequa and got rather close to her. "Why are you so much more powerful?!" she said, nearly screaming. Looking down, she stared at her keyblade. "What am I doing wrong?" she said, great sadness in her voice. All of this was beginning to be too much. Her mind couldn't and wouldn't get off the fact she failed to close a keyhole twice now. It wouldn't get off the fact she nearly got knocked out in the last world. She was far too weak, she thought, and that she was completely useless as a party member. Heck, she even attacked somebody on her own side back in the land of departure. Ananta couldn't help but feel weak and useless. This caused her crystal to reflect the darkness she was brooding over, for it gained a darker color to it, no longer shining faintly pink as it was not too long ago.
