Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Beuce didn't seem to be all that intimidated by the Rhino's presence, but he was grateful that he now had a magical barrier to take a bit of the damage should he be hit. Barrier...That might just work. His body began to glow with a pale white light. "You're goin' down sags." With a running start, he charged the rhino with as much ferocity as if he'd been one himself. Shortly before he came into contact with her, he pounced towards her, cloaking his own body in protective barriers and punch her. He punched a freaking rhino. An old lady looked strange but this...

 

Now it was time. Everything had been leading up to this moment. At this point, Stratos was positive what he was going to do. With a serious expression on his face he suddenly clutched his chest and to let a large glow from it. Next he moved his hand off and started to move his fingers in a circular motion, creating a faint trail of light for wherever they went. "You who would desecrate the land of the golden sword, with my advent, I, a keyblade wielder, lay waste with the Unbound, and expel thy vast defilement!" Stratos, without actually having unbound out, then swiped his fingers through the light circle he had made and brought his hand up, gathering all the light into one small ball. The ball quickly started to glow and burn as though it were a star, and Stratos finished it off with throwing the orb straight at the Rhino Mim. As the small ball of energy connected with her, it let loose a brilliant solar flare of energy causing a massive blast of star energy to burn straight at the Rhino. This was, or at the very least, Stratos's version, of Trip Around The Sun.

 

Beuce clapped for Stratos as he unleashed the trip around the sun limit. That was actually pretty intense. Even in her hardened state it would do massive damage, and if he'd done the calculations right, she wouldn't be able to sustain her Rhino form after that. "Did you ever think of pursuing a life in drama? You'd be pretty good at it." He said to Stratos with a chuckle as he waited for the smoldering of Mim to fade, allowing them to see her once more.

 

Ignoring Mira's attitude, Steel watched as Luna returned to normal and then promptly collapsed on the ground. This time I actually remember what happened..." She whispered. "Well... I suppose that's a form of progress." He responded silently. Nothing was said for a few minutes as Luna regained her composure. As she clearly didn't want to say anything he wondered about how exactly to proceed. He bent down to put a hand on her shoulder. He hesitated. "We...Should catch up with the others." He nearly whispered. He wasn't sure what words of encouragement he could offer without her explaining a bit more. For now, he'd have to wait and see. "You ready?" He asked.

 

D'daear only stood there, listening to the conversation between Base, Karina, and Kross. Voices echoed throughout the castleThey were devising a plan to better help set up a defense against the approaching mob that most of them had hinted on. They needed to be prepared for the worst. The boy crossed his arms and listened patiently with a serious demeanor. The plan so far was to break the mobs morale WITHOUT injuring them; which made sense considering this Gaston person was the one leading the fray. D'daear's ears soon peaked in audio interest as Base mentioned Karina and her Legendary strength. With an eyebrow raised, he doubled his efforts to listen in on their conversation. His curiosity was now set in motion. Just who was this Karina person? Just how powerful was she? Eyes were set on the two now, a close watch being kept especially on Karina with his peripheral vision. It really did seem like a plan could be in the works. Unfortunately, Karina seemed to be unwilling to help devise a plan, going on about how plans never truly go as they should, and something else that D'daear didn't catch as he zoned out the moment the female warrior denied working with Base. D'daear rolled his eyes, not really caring whether anyone caught it or not. He let out a sigh, giving his full on attention to both Base and Kross as Karina made her way to the background.

"...What if we seperated the mob into smaller group, and from there dealt with them? I'm pretty sure we can come up with something, especially with Lumiere and Cogsworth's help." he said. He was no tactician or strategist, but perhaps three minds could eventually come up with something if enough ideas were presented.

 

Ananta watched as everyone was damage greatly by Mim's bombs. Luckily, she was only hit once by a bomb. Ananta thanked her 19% dodge rate that magically became 13% somehow? Looking at her teammates, she noticed only her and Kel were alive. Kel and her were both at rather low health ad Beuce was knocked out with Stratos. Ananta remembered something she learned and smiled. "Break Time!" she said out loud, lifting her stick and smirking at Mim.


Ananta used BREAK TIME!

 

While they had managed to knock Mim back to her regular form, she didn't seem all to worried about that fact. In fact, what she did do was start twirling around. "Ballet won't save you now." Kel said, right as he noticed that she was flinging things at them. As they flew towards them, Kel noticed that they were bombs. "Aw crud." Needless to say, the party was bombarded by bombs, severely injuring Kel and taking out Beuce and Stratos. First a Hun now a Witch, was there a little girl waiting to kick the crap out him or something. Fortunately Ananta managed to heal Beuce and while he could revive Stratos and leave himself pretty screwed, he had a better idea. He took the stick staff he was wielding and stabbed in into the ground casting reluctancy.

 

Luna remained silent for a bit. She stood up and recollected her thoughts. She's wrong about me. I know my brother is still out there...........right? Luna looked at her bracelet before turning toward Steel. "I'm fine now. Let's just head inside." Luna started walking inside the castle with Steel. She walked up to the group hearing about rioters heading to the castle along with this Gaston guy. This is just not my day right now! What should I do!?!? At this point, I feel useless after Mira possessed my body. Luna looked at the ground as she felt so lost. I wonder if the Beast knows what's happening soon.... Luna glanced toward the West Wing. She felt a sudden warmth from her bracelet and necklace. Luna closed her eyes as she placed her right hand over her left as if she was praying. O divine Artemis, please give me the answers I seek. Watch over my allies and the innocent people in this castle along with a girl in this world named Belle. Watch over, protect, and lead me to Apollo's successor known as my brother and crown prince of Celestial City, Akira Kiatespira. Please, O divine Artemis, hear your successor's plea and grant me my answers, provide me with your wisdom and strength, and help rid me of this dark heart and/or lead it back to light. Luna opened her eyes as her feet led her toward the West Wing.

 

Steel simply nodded as he and Luna stood up and walked up to the castle doors. He silently wondered if she would be okay, but pushed the thought aside; she was stronger than she knew, he wouldn't have to worry. As they approached the group he listened to them considering strategy. D'daear had an excellent idea, but if the mob was too big, they could only divide it between themselves so much without being overwhelmed. Then there was the matter of whether or not they would fall for it. He noticed Vincent was being particularly silent, but from the memories he held of his friend, the man didn't seem to need to think too much to come up with a plan and was simply leaving them to theirs'. He had resumed thinking over tactics when he suddenly felt something. He turned to Luna to see her eyes closed and her bracelet and necklace glowing. Then energy he felt... there was no mistaking it. She was speaking to the moon. Steel kept a relatively blank expression on his face for a moment before turning away to face the rest of the group. Then he did something odd. He smiled the most warm and genuine small smile that he had since joining up with the keyblade wielders. However, no one could see beneath his black and blue scarf, and the group continued to talk strategy.

 

Beuce had been struck hard by the bombs, him and Stratos had been hit by more of them than anyone else. She did some damage alright, but that wasn't going to keep them down. Not with their kind of strategics. Shortly after he was knocked unconscious, Ananta began dancing. Yes. Dancing. However this dance possessed magical properties. The healing properties it possessed filled the party with vital energy, tending to their wounds, restoring their magic, and strengthening their hearts. Now sufficiently healed, he pushed himself up off the ground and stood once again, noting that they were under the cover of reluctancy. With the opportunity to do things other than attack, this was a golden chance. "Come out, Three caballeros!"

 

Kaida was surprised by Etrius' reaction but she went with it. When Glen asked his question, Lauriam responded, "Ahh, all over the kingdom. Good view by the docks." Kaida noticed it was starting to get dark and she spoke, "We should probably go now then if we want a good spot! Thank you Lauriam!" She then happily made her way over towards the docks. When she was at the docks, she looked back and noticed she was far enough ahead to stop fooling around and get focused if even just for a moment. She looked out on the lake to see that Flynn and Rapunzel were already on a boat. She squinted to make sure it was really them before she whispered under her breath, "When did you two get out there..." ​

 

Cat listened to the story, still staring at the image of the royal family. It was sad to hear how they'd been torn apart, and she wondered if there was any way of making things right. No one deserved to have family ripped away from them. She turned back to the group and Lumeria, letting them all ask their questions and such about the lanterns, and suddenly, it hit her. Things started to click, and she thought she had it figured out -- at least, to a point. She followed the group to the docks and saw Kaida rush ahead. She was looking out to a boat that was floating in the middle of the water. Upon closer inspection, she saw that the people in it were Rapunzel and Flynn! She kept a close eye on them, just in case he tried anything, and noticed that there was a lantern in their boat. "Oh, that's right. We should probably get a few of those lanterns ourselves. It'd be rude not to light any."

 

Kross frowned, his plan went out the window. He wanted to actually take out Gaston first to deflate the mob's morale. He bit his lower lip."But the mob are just innocent people clouded by the poison Gaston has fed them, We can't fight innocent people."He said. He never wanted to harm innocents, it didn't have to be that way, They needed to focus their energy on Gaston, he was the instigator. He considered Base's question for a moment, stroking his chin."Gaston's vanity is his biggest weakness. He has the ego of a zeppelin."He said. Steel's suggestion spurred a thought."If we're going to divide the mob, we need to divide into teams too."He said, frowning that his plan got stomped on, but he sucked it up, maybe this is a better idea.

 

Upon arriving at the docks near Kaida and Cat, Glen also noticed Flynn and Rapunzel in the center of the lake. At first he assumed he was taking Rapunzel to get closer to the lights, all alone and isolated in the middle of that lake. However, the more he thought about it, the less likely it seemed. He had mentioned a satchel several times, and he so far had shown little intentions of helping anyone aside from himself. So either he had had a miraculous change of heart, or he had done exactly what Glen had been worried he'd do earlier; wait for them to vanish and then make a move to get his things back.

"Lanterns be damned, look at them. Flynn's trying to extort information from Rapunzel, are we going to stand by and watch, playing with paper lanterns? Why else would he take her out of everybody's sight? Come on guys, I thought I was meant to be the dumb one around here" Glen said, before standing on the very edge of the docks. How would they reach him though? Glen was a very slow swimmer, by the time he got nearby it may be too late. He looked down into the water, seeing his own reflection. He didn't realize how much older he looked compared to when he had first set out on his own. Shrugging off the thought, Glen then turned around and shrugged his shoulders in front of the other party members. Without another word, he turned and dove into the water, before turning and looking at the others, waiting for them to follow.​

 

Stratos had taken quite a beating from the old witch. Sure, he had been able to use the most powerful attack anyone had managed thus far, but it seemed to come with him getting slaughtered almost immediately afterwards. And so, Stratos was dead...oh wait...when your quantitative measure of your physical health status reaches zero apparently you're just knocked out. Well that's handy to know. Stratos picked himself up as apparently someone taking a break was apparently the greatest sort of healing move there was. As he stood up, he realized that he wasn't the only one to have taken a massive pummeling from that attack. And so, he decided to get on the support side of things and heal someone up. He started to glow a faint light green color as his fingers started to glow brighter. With them, he traced a very simple outline of a leaf in the air as he said, "oh blessed flora that casts its faint light upon the weary," he then swiped his fingers through the leaf outline and then lifted his hand above his head to cast the spell. "Cure!" Targeting Kel, he gave him what little healing power he could offer at the moment. Stratos also had no idea why he was making up chants and overly cinematic scenes for these spells now, but he then decided it was more than likely just to make them seem cooler.

 

Ananta continued using her Break Time skill, seeing as she hadn't been attacked yet. By now, she had set out a nice picnic for herself. There was a turkey, some unknown hunk of meat on a femur, juice, and other delicious things. Instead of waiting for anybody else to join her, she dug her sharp teeth right into the femur meat. With teeth as sharp as hers, it wasn't hard for Ananta to tear through this meat. She enjoyed her meal, having not eaten at all in this world nor before, and was not going to stop eating any time soon. If anybody approached her, they would have to deal with her sharp teeth. Ananta is completely engulfed in eating all the food. All of it.
