Luna listened as the group split into two. She heard Steel say that Luna will join D'daear, Kross, and himself to escort Belle to the Beast. "I was just about to say that. In any case, those escorting Belle to the Beast, we should leave now. The faster we get Belle to Beast, the faster we can get more help to protect the castle. Any questions?" Luna walked over to Belle and offered her hand toward Belle. "Shall we get going Belle?" Luna awaited Belle's response to start heading over to the Beast. Before she did, Luna turned toward the other group. "You guys be careful, you hear me?" Luna turned toward Karina. "Karina, what I said earlier, I hope you knew that wasn't me saying those things but if you still wanna kick my ass then you just name the time and place, got it? Oh! One more thing!" Luna took something out of her pocket and tossed it to Karina. The object was a barrette in the shape of a crescent moon. Luna walked over to Karina and spoke. "It's a good luck charm. I'm gonna be needing it back when we return to the Land of Departure so keep it safe, okay?" Luna stared at Karina as she finished her sentence. She walked back to Belle and extended her hand out to her once more. Luna spoke out to everyone in both groups. "May Artemis be with you all!"

 

Now that the teams were done, Eon was curious to the other two he'd be working with. They had time before the enemy showed themselves after all. Krowley seemed extremely serious about everything. Eon was like that as well but he at least knew when to have a little bit of fun from time to time. Base however seemed like a really good person. The way he treated D'daear was exceptional. "Mr. Base," Eon began, "You seem like a really good fellow, while we wait, would you maybe tell me a little bit about yourself?" The boy wanted friends, and Base seemed to be just the kind of person that would be a rolemodel and friend all in one.

 

"Mr. Base," Eon began, "You seem like a really good fellow, while we wait, would you maybe tell me a little bit about yourself?"

Base smiled at the inquiry.

"By all means. What do you want to know? I'm a musician who can't help himself around instruments." Base modified his voice to sound like the Beast as he spoke, "I do impressions." He continued speaking in his normal voice to give, what he thought, was the best summary of himself. "I was born on my Home world of Theate to good people who I miss very much every day. I was taught how to do magic by master Yen Sid, who you may know, and ever since I have been with this company of Guardians, I have become considerably powerful in my magical abilities. I can take a spell pretty well, and the one I hit back with isn't particularly terrible."

"Wait... you're Eon, right? The young tank?"

 

Eon listened to Base's story. A much... happier tale then his. The impression he gave made Eon laugh a little. Base sort of reminded Eon of a father figure. Only thing with Eon was his father died before he could comprehend much.

"Yes. I'm Eon. I'm not really a tank." He was obviously being very modest. Have you seen those def an res stats?

"I was born in a prison. My mother and father were falsely accused of a crime against the worlds. My father died before I ever knew him. My mother died because of me. I've gone through a lot as a child and the beatings I've earned have only made my body more resistant to pain. I'm just glad the keyblade guided me away from that place I called home. I've never been happier to be around people who won't scold me for even looking at them!" He gave a bright smile.

It was a true story. One day while Eon was eating the mush they gave for lunch, a beam of light appeared around his hand, forming the keyblade. It helped guide him out of the prison and protect him from the guards who tried to force him back. It wasn't like he committed a crime. He wasn't really even sure why they'd keep an innocent child locked away. Perhaps they saw that his parents could never make up the time they were enlisted for, so they stuck it on him.

 

Ananta was enjoying her meal when suddenly Mim zoomed by. She knocked the last plate of food straight out of Ananta's hand. It was the perfect piece of cheesecake. Weeping over the lost cheesecake, Ananta glared at Mim. "How dare you, that was the perfect slice of cheesecake!" she yelled. Standing up, she stomped over to Stratos. "Wind!" she exclaimed, poking Stratos with her stick. A gust of wind flapped up and began to protect Stratos. "End her." she said to Stratos, anger in her voice and a fire in her eyes. Mim cannot be allowed to live for doing such a thing.

Well this was just perfect. Mim had once again abused her broom and flew over them again. He would've been a goner if it weren't for Marahute protecting him. It really was a good thing to summon him. Still just like before there were mines all below her so all they needed to do was to get her own the ground again. "Get down here and we'll show you some wrath!" He called out, casting gravity on the witch.

 

Kaida enjoyed helping Glen release the lantern, but within a good amount of time, everything seemed to turn to poo. She saw... whoever the person was, with Rapunzel's mom. For some reason something wasn't registering in her brain, she knew something about this woman when doing research. So why was it no longer in her head. But by the time she even managed a thought, they were over there. Getting Rapunzel on Maximus and being told to move. At that point, everything else was blocked out. Even the mention of Flynn's real name went over her head. Now it was her priority to help the princess. Kaida looked at the rest of the group and spoke, "Well we heard the man, lets get a move on!"

 

With Stratos's magic doing more damage than ever, thanks to the mariachi band giving him power, Mim seemed to be hurting...seemed to be. She quickly came in and attack them with her broom strikes. The magic let loose from this attack was the same in quantity as the one when she had reverted back to this form, only this one was even stronger than that one. Guess the desperation move was just a nerfed version of this attack. However, thanks to that weird thing Kel had summoned, he had been brought back from the strike that had hit him. Regardless, he was still willing to give it his all, and when Ana came over to give him an aero spell to keep from dying, Stratos gave her a thumbs up. With Kel bringing the witch back down with Gravity, Stratos turned to Beuce and said, "are you ready to go all fisticuffs on the old bag again?"

 

Glen got out of the water quickly the moment Vanitas disappeared with Gothel. That was the guy he had gone after in the castle of dreams. He had been a coward then by fleeing, and he was now abducting peoples' mothers? He had to be stopped, he would be taken down. There was no doubt Etrius, Cat, and Kaida would go after Vanitas as well, but even if they didn't Glen had every intention of going on.

Glen knew very well what it felt like, knowing your parents were in a lot of danger, believing that they may very well die. It was a feeling he could not forget, and didn't like to think about. "I'll kill him.." the keyblade wielder said, slowly and in a tone that made him sound very much like someone of the darkness, rather than that of the light. A very serious expression on his face, he began running back towards the tunnel, barely even looking at the others as he went. The blood of Vanitas was the only thing on his mind as he ran, no longer concerned about anything else as he went.

 

It looked like it would be him, D'Dear, Luna and Steel for this escort mission, and Kross was more than ready to prove himself. The allies he arrived here with were on a different team but they were important to the mission. He turned to Eon and Karina and gave them a thumbs up, grinning."You can count on us!"He exclaimed, going over to join his new allies and grinned, putting his arm out."Come on, we can do this, so let's get Belle to the Beast and help him defend his home!" He exclaimed to them.

 

Cat sat up as soon as she heard the threats coming from the shore. A masked man threatened Rapunzel's mother, and she jumped to her feet quickly. She heard Glen's threat and didn't dare to say a word. Flynn insisted that they run while he take the fall and she turned to him briefly, nodding with her approval. Suddenly, he seemed like a changed man. The black flames in the sky ruined any semblance of peace they might've had, and she could only look on as the man vanished, dragging his captive into a dark portal. Kaida insisted that they get a move on, and Cat agreed. "I don't like this, but we're not gonna let that masked freak go so easily."

 

"I am glad to have the chance to fight beside you. You have a certain flair, Eon. I hear when an opponent tries to hit you, it's as effective as hitting vapor, Eon. Whatever the case, I'm sure I can give them a shot of my magic, so I'll give them a jolt, Eon. They might break a few windows breaking in, so watch out for Glass, Eon as we leave, Eon." Base stuttered towards the end. He hadn't realized how much he was repeating the young boy's name so many times. "Sorry. I remember people best by saying their name aloud. I can be forgetful. Everyone has flaws."

"You were with the other group. What's Gaston like, so we know how to fight should we go up against him at some point?"

 

Eon shrugged off the constant repeating of his own name from Base. People hitting him as if he were vapor though? That was an interesting way of putting it. Nonetheless, it was time for Eon to explain what Gaston was like.

"Gaston is... well... he seems to be admired by everyone in town, like, he's their favorite guy. He is an inspiration to them. He's slick, he's quick, his neck is extremely thick. He has a strong jaw. He's really burly and brawny. His biceps are quite large. Not a bit of him is scraggly or scrawny. He's also really hairy, not as much as Beast, but pretty up there. Roughly, he's the size of a barge. Quite the intimidating man. What's most important is he has this dark aura about him, that's why I assume he's possessed by a heartless." Eon described Gaston like it were part of a song or something.

 

Beuce coughed as the broom hit him, he just barely held onto consciousness and didn't use up their last Marahute rescue. Although he felt sorry for Kel, who had been hit three times. In fact, Ananta seemed to be the only one out of the wielders that wasn't too bad. The rest of them were running on empty. If there was one thing that could be said about this witch, it was that she packed a freaking punch. But..."Thought you'd never ask" He said with a chuckle as he punched the palm of his hand. She may have packed a punch, but she wasn't the only one. Sprinting forward, he slammed his fist into the old hag's jaw, knocking her into a mine. He was quick enough to get behind her, and performed a roundhouse kick into another, and finally, he picked her up and slammed her face against a third. She may have been a witch, but for an old lady she had a miraculously durable body. "Goofy, We can't hold out much longer. We're counting on you!" Beuce called out, hoping that the anthropomorphic dog would use Evolution and restore their strength.

 

Stratos was now ready to go in now that Beuce had punched the old witch multiple times. It was weird how he kind of had to wait for the other three to do their attacks before he could, but hey, not everything in the world made sense. Like why was there a golden sword in a stone in the middle of a town that apparently decided who was king. Didn't really seem like that stable of a governmental policy. Regardless, Stratos had to go along with the rules of this nonsensical world and ran straight in to punch Mim. It was a shame Stratos didn't have a spell chant for punching, but he would also have to live with that as well. And so, he unleashed a deadly whopping three hit combo of punches that would push Mim into his mines.

 

Ananta has seen some things and seeing an old lady turn into a big purple dragon was not one of them. At least she can check it off her list now, though. Goofy healed everyone just before she changed and nearly killed them all again, she thanked him for that, but now they were nearly dead again. "Looks like physical attacks won't do much damage this time..." she commented. "Dragons are weak to ice magic, right?" she asked, holding her stick out. "Freeze!" she yelled, holding her stick out and watching as a mass of ice launched itself towards Mim.
