In the thick of battle, Base planted his feet firmly on the ground and let out a upbeat Grito de Delores.

"Always at the ready, Amigo. Son of a gun! It is good to see you again, Senor Base." Panchito immediately, vigorously shook Base's freehand.

"Good to see you too, Panchito." Base shook back as much as he could match Panchito's vivacity; no easy task for such an animated character.

"Say, you must really like us, or something, no?" Jose smugly took a drag from his stogie and leaned on his umbrella cane.

"What's the big idea?! Always calling on us for nothing but fighting great big monsters!" Donald was furious.

"Tranquilo, mi amigo." Base smiled down at Donald and shook his feathery hand. "Have I ever steered you wrong before?"

"YEAH!! BWACCCCCCCCCCCKK!" Donald jumped up and down and shook his fists before shouting incoherently after his confirmation of opinion. "Why I oughta..." Donald crossed his arms, plomped down on his rump, and muttered angrily to himself.

"Donal', would a song help to lift your spirits? Make this a fiesta validad!" Panchito slapped Donald reassuringly on the back and pulled the duck to his feet.

"Not on your life." Donald refuted, trying to stay in his grumpy state. The way in which Donald was rebuked came with the playerless introduction of trumpets and other instruments. "Awww, fine... You great big Palookas..."

Eon would next summon the grant and mighty Bambi! And for some reason Marahute isn't on his list of summons but is one of his summons he bought a long while ago alongside 7 Dwarves and Dumbo. He wasn't sure when or how he got this Mushu thing either.

Cat looked on at the beast at the end of the tunnel -- which she didn't know was called a Thresholder -- and summoned her Keyblade instinctively. There was no way she would let this thing stand in their way, and even less so when they had someone to protect in all this. "Rapunzel, stay in the tunnel! We've got this." She looked back at Maximus and nodded, reassuring him that this was the best way to keep her safe in all this. She then turned to Glen and Etrius and snickered. "Well, I guess some brute force might not be too bad after all."

Steel watched his companions do varying amounts of damage to their large opponent with absolutely no opposition, smirking as every opportunity for attack passed the creature by. As his own opportunity came, he decided to save Summons and Magic for later in order to get in as much more damage as possible while he could. He admired Luna's enthusiasm in the situation, and decided he would join in the dance.

Twirling his keyblade he summoned a mystical wall of fractals that shone brilliantly as they reflect life off of one another. The wall bent around him to form an shining orb. He took one step forward and broke into a smooth run, closing in on the Dark thorn. When he reached it, the barrier collided with the dark and bony surface of the Heartless and he pushed outward. The barrier exploded, separating into the many peaces that it was made up of. He deftly jumped quickly back to the rest of the party, landing next to Luna and flourishing his keyblade in a bow.

Etrius let out a growl as he caught sight of the beast, and got in a low crouch on all fours. He noticed Glen was ready to charge, so he decide that was the best course of action. As Glen charged Etrius let out an animal shriek, and charged alongside him, pounding the ground furiously. As he gained more speed, he forced his arms under him, throwing his body weight back on two feet, but still hunched. As soon as he did this, he summoned his Oathkeeper as he held it backhand. If anyone was going to get in the middle of him and Vanitas, they would die, regardless of who they are.

Luna extended out her hand as she summoned her keyblade in her right hand. "Right, next turn, can you summon the Three Caberallos? I have a plan stirring up in my head!" With that, Luna dashed her way toward the heartless. Keyblade in hand, she twisted up a massive combo on Dark Thorn. She jumped backed and brushed her hair out of her face. She looked toward Steel once more. "Your answer?"

As Kaida took a step forward to try and get a better look at the monster in the light, she realized why there seemed to be an issue. This monster was in fact, a door. A door in the cave that she knew was not there before. This meant there was no way to run around it and go straight to the tower. Behind her she heard Rapunzel reply to Cat, "I'm not leaving you, I want to help my mother!" Kaida quickly backed up and spoke, "Well staying in the tunnel isn't going to help you much, because it looks like we can't get to the tower unless we fight!"

As Kaida finished what she had to say, the fight had begun.

Everyone had their certain technique, and Kross had a lot of work to do to catch up to these guys. He couldn't just lag behind and get weaker, no way he was going to do that. He had something to prove, to prove he wasn't as childish as he seemed, to prove he was strong enough to protect his friends. He left the safety of the wall and slid towards the monster. He swung his keyblade up to strike it, but since it was a large boss, he couldn't knock it into the air. He then flicked away, going above it and swung down, striking down and landed to the ground, hopping backwards and backflipped over the wall with elegance, landing among his allies.

Karina took time to think and consider her options carefully. Marahute was not summoned, so she could do that, or she could just strike now, but Karina questioned the effectiveness of using her strongest move right away. But then again if she didn't take it now then she didn't know if she would have a chance to use it again and for it to be nearly as effective. It was a hard choice but in the end Karina decided to take advantage of how long her Gravity spell lasted and try to wait it out a bit. But she was not going to step back and leave this thing without a scratch. Marahute could wait, for now Karina would just hit with all she had. Karina ran straight up to the giant machine. There was no running and hiding for her. While everyone else hid behind their magic Karina charged right in as she attacked the monster at it's base.

Ananta sighed, crossing her arms. Listening to her comrades, she nodded her head. "Yeah, I think we need to go back to the sword in the stone and check up on Wart. I'd hate for him to be injured, you know?" she said, stretching and beginning to walk back towards the town square. "But you know, what if when we get back Wart is fine and he has a sword to defend himself? I'd think he'd have something to protect himself when he's in danger. Merlin wouldn't be so stupid as to let the boy go around defenseless....right?" she questioned. Placing her hands on the back of her head, she kept walking along, pondering what could be happening at the town square. "Then again, GIlgamesh is there so I'm pretty sure he's fine...somewhat." she finished, chuckling. Gilgamesh was a strange guy, indeed. Although, he didn't seem that bad of a person. Or whatever he is.

Replenished by Bambi, Krowley held out his keyblade to cast a new spell. With the small fawn refilling his MP, he could freely cast spells until the summon dispersed. With any luck, he could spam in some fire spells until he was ready to perform his limit attack. He could also use the extra spell power for a few Aero spells for his allies. This wooden machine had yet to show it's true powers, so he was still prepared to brace any frontal assault the heartless would create.
"Burn!" he yelled out, spitting a ball of fire from his blade. Like a baseball, it hovered over the ground, and curved up onto the creature's forehead, directly below the pesky archers.

Cat took the hit from the beast, but grunted as she was knocked back. She stuck her Keyblade into the ground for support and stood herself back up. The hit wasn't too bad, thank goodness, but now she felt the need to dish out some punishment. She chuckled and clutched her key with both hands, quickly figuring out what the best plan of attack would be. The Thresholder seemed to be stuck in place, apart from its long arms. They were huge, easily towering over her without any kind of effort, but she looked at the thing's other arms. They appeared to be stuck inside of the "door," guarding a gold-framed keyhole. She grinned and knew what she would try. It was risky, but she figured it was worth a shot anyhow. She rushed forward, avoiding the impending appendages, and went straight for the keyhole. She used her momentum from running to bring her blade down on the weak spot, then continued using the momentum from the motion to bring it back around for a second and third hit in the combo. She saw an arm come up beside her, about ready to swat her away, and she kicked the door for some speed, rushing back to the front lines of her group. The Keyblade didn't seem to react to the hole, so it couldn't be too important to the world, but she figured it'd be worth a shot to take out the most vulnerable part of the creature. "Go for the door!" She also figured that she should at least try to break through Etrius and Glen's thick skulls. "You've gotta be fast, but the keyhole is its weak spot!"

"Looks like I'm up!" uttered D'daear as he ran past Kross, evidently meeting him half way. There was a snicker on the young keyblade wielders face. Having the large heartless stand still for this long sort of encouraged him. It was like all sense of danger had disappeared for the moment, as the fear of retaliation had been stopped for a good while. As he came within striking range, D'daear decided to inflict a series of hits to the creatures lower body; considering how tall the heartless is and all. First he bridged the gap between them with a forward lunge using one hand, tip of the keyblade aimed at the creatures knee. Next, just as the blade stabbed, he placed his free hand on the handle, and utilizing his upper body strength, he sliced upward into a vertical slash; his motion appearing to be like a common Volleyball bump. The power distributed, and the weight of the keyblade would lift D'daear of his feet only a few centimeters of the ground, but it was all he needed for his next hit. Immediately upon landing with half-steps, he would jump in place and twist his body to the left, effectively gathering momentum with his keyblade to finish off the combo with a vertical slash utilizing a one handed swing. The method of which he landed each hit was rather unorthodox to swordsmen, but then again he was new to all this. Upon finishing he would run back to safety of the wall.

"A four armed giant should be able to handle himself." Kel stated as he followed behind Ananta. He doubted that a four armed giant would be defeated easily. Then again he did get subdue by a loli, which compared to everything else is kinda sad. Sure she's a high level mage, but it wasn't with magic she used. Anyway the only way to know for certain what had happened was to see for themselves and hope for the best.
