Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

The pain came out of nowhere. It bothered Etrius a little more than it should have, but he didn't care. The only words that came to his mind was "Kill, kill kill."
Though he now held a Keyblade, he was still almost gone. There seemed that there was nearly no possible way to return to normal unless of his own accord. Except......
"Go for the door!"
Etrius' head turned on the spot, towards Cat. He let out a short hiss of annoyance and confusion.
"You've gotta be fast, but the keyhole is its weak spot!" Cat went on.
Somehow, the words clicked. Etrius understood. He turned back to the double-bodied beast and found a hole in the shape of a key. He snarled in response and took off. He sped up, faster and faster, until he was gliding across the ground, moving closer to Thresholder. He spun his Keyblade to fronthand position as it struck Thresholder. Right where a Key should hit. As soon as the blow was dealt, Etrius jumped back.

"There's a weakness to Water and Fire magic... I'm not set up for any fire attacks, but I do so happen to have some water on me." Base gave Panchito a sly smirk.

"Agua, por favor." Panchito took a stand by Base. "We'll wash this Son of a Gun up, right, hombres?"

"The masked man lit it on fire. It would be, how you say, "neighborly"." Jose chuckled.

Base stood firm on the ground, holding his Keyblade like a soldier would a rail gun or a Fireman would a hose. A violent stream of water burst from his Keyblade to make contact on the bruised up machination. Finishing off his attack, Base shook a few drips off his shoes. "Caution: Splash Zone."

"Smart alec..." Donald grumbled.

Ballroom Zone
​

Dark Thorn had lost an edge in its slower state. It shrieked monstrously as it received every hit it had taken, but all in one moment. It was enough to drive the monster into hiding, but not before summoning three Possessor Heartless to its aid while it dived into the tar black ballroom floor to vanish out of sight and reach.

Eon took another hit from the Heartless. Lucky enough for him he could manage to take the hits full force. For now he would focus on those who didn't have as much defense. "Aero on Karina!" Eon called out, casting the magic to reduce damage to her. She had the worst defense in the group and needed the boost most. Base would be next.

Glen kept on his toes as he circled the Thresholder, attempting to find its weak point. Cat was far more observant than he was though, and he soon heard her yell out to attack the door, that the door was the weak spot. He focused on this heartless now. This was the thing that was stopping him from saving Rapunzel's mother, the thing that dared to stand in their way and protect Vanitas. It would not stand there for long, not if he could help it. A slight, dark purple aura began radiating from the male, as with a yell he leapt forward and his keyblade began glowing the same dark purple colour, before he span around in a quick circle and slammed his weapon into the creature with tremendous force.

At Luna's question, Steel once again bowed. "It would be an honor." He turned his attention to the monster in time to see it flee into the shadows. He smirked as multiple possessors materialized. "Won't buy you much of a break."

He held his keyblade in front of him. It faced straight up. Steel let go of the sword, leaving it hovering in the air. He held his hands to his sides and began gathering magical energy. He moved his right hand above him, and his left hand below in a circular motion, tracing a faint light through the air before slowly bringing them nearer to his core. He clenched his right hand into a fist and after a brief pause, punched it into his open left hand. The keyblade reacted by spinning clockwise. True to it's name it turned in a full circle, stopping in an upright position that would represent twelve on a clock. It quickly shot out a red beam of light from the tip before rotating again. The second time shooting out a green beam of light. The third and final time, it shot out a blue beam of light. All three rays lined up in front of him, swirling around designated positions before the party. Steel grabbed the keyblade, and with a few more spins, stabbed it into the air above him, sending out a shockwave of magic that materialized the three rays into Panchito, Jose, and Donald.

"I know ballroom music likely isn't your specialty..." He stated to the three birds. "But a party needs music."

 

Ballroom Zone

Panchito twirled his pistoles with flair.

"Ready to fight the good fight, mis amigos?"

"No." Donald was blunt and abrasive.

"Either way, we fighting anyways." Panchito scratched his head with the barrel of one of his pistoles and looked to his other two friends with perplexity. "Say... does anyone else feel a litle... divided?"

"Yeah.. Is weird."

"Huh. I feel like I'm in two places I don't want to be at once. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!?" Donald thrashed his wings about and jumped up and down, squabbling loudly.

Stratos had started walking alongside everyone as they had resolved to continue moving forward. "Regardless of how capable are two friends may be, I'm not entirely sure if that matters too much. I mean, both Mizu and Merlin are extremely high leveled mages and they got subdued in an instant against that armored person. And if she's going to the sword then I doubt those two will be able to do too much against her. Not to mention she's the one who summoned Gilgamesh in the first place, so who knows what else she could bring in."

Cat stood back while her comrades charged at the Heartless. She was more than a little hesitant when it came to letting Rapunzel join in, but as soon as she swung at the Thresholder with her frying pan, she gawked at how strong the girl really was. Still, she was hit by its retaliation -- along with Glen, but she figured his skin was thick enough to take it. It didn't seem to do much though, since she came back from it quickly and gave her a thumbs up, signaling that she was alright. She nodded and looked back at the beast. She wanted to be quick, and she knew exactly what would work for that strategy. She walked backwards, further away from the beast, and held her Keyblade tight in her right hand. "You want a piece of me, ugly?" She began to run forward, gaining momentum. "Well, here I come!" She kept running until she'd built up enough speed, and her Keyblade began to glow. She quickly jumped and held it blade down, landing on the neck and sliding towards the Heartless even faster. Once her blade had connected with the door, she swung it over her head and kicked against the concrete to fly back towards the group. She panted and moved away to let the others do their thing.

Luna saw Dark Thorn as he summoned backup. "Coward!!" As soon as she saw the Three Cabarellos appear, she knew it was her cue to go. "Don't worry! With you guys here, I'm sure they'll go down in no time!" With that said, Luna felt crystals surrounding her body. A crescent glowed on her right wrist as she started running toward Dark Thorn's backup. She summoned her keyblade to her hand and dashed her way toward the Possessers.

"Not to mention she's a keyblade wielder herself. And from the looks of things, approaching the level of master if not already at it." Beuce added on to Stratos' comment about Nequa. It was true, they were going to have a hard time taking her down if it came tooth and nail. They'd struggled against Mim a fair bit, but in the end there had never really been any danger of them losing with the strategy he'd laid out for the party. They all followed his instructions to a tee, and as such their teamwork was exceptional and they covered for each other's weaknesses splendidly. However, if the gap in skill and power is big enough, no amount of teamwork would span it. House flies fighting dragons, if one wanted to put it metaphorically. Snapping out of an uncharacteristically serious thought process, he looked up at the party. "Well, strong or not, we don't really have much choice but to stop her from getting Excalibur. On one hand, the seal on that thing is ancient stuff. I doubt there's a mage alive who can break something like that. But if the true king comes along and pulls it out..." He trailed off. He may not have finished, but what he meant to say was clear. If the real king comes and breaks the seal, the sword is fair game. Anyone can take it from him. "So in other words, the sword is most likely not in any immediate danger, but you never know. With our luck, the real king is pulling it out for her as we speak. We can't let her get her hands on that thing. Busty as she may be, i will defeat her same as any other opponent! Albeit maybe with a slightly lower angle to my point of veiw, but she will fall!"

It looked like the Dark Thorn summoned three underlings to do its bidding. As Beast shaved off half of one's HP, Luna had made it faint all together. Now it was his turn to show them what he could do. He hopped ontop of the wall and then hopped down, raising his keyblade on Possessor B, the only one who had not been hit. The hairs on him began to stand as static electricity surrounded him, summoning bright yellow lightning from seemingly no where to strke the dark possessor."Shock!" He shouted.

Not wanting to use anymore MP then necessary, Eon reached for his Potion and used it on himself to recover some HP. The dang boss really wanted him dead apparently.

With good teamwork, and quick precise hits, the group made quick work of the minions the large heartless had summoned. It was now in hiding, doing who knows what while its underlings did some of the work. Luna, Beast, Steel, and Kross had done an amazing job at taking down the possessors. Kross activated one of his spells on the remaining Possessor. It seemed to have felt the surge of electrical force brought on by Kross's Thunder spell, yet was resilient enough to stay in form. "I got this!" shouted D'daear. The young keyblader dashed towards the weakened creature, and whaled on it with all he had, swing his blade the same he had done on the Dark thorns knee.
