Karina knew they had a good thing going here With mushu by her side they were nearly unstoppable. Karina didn't feel the need for any fancy moves when she had Mushu with her. If she did a basic attack he would make up the damage she didn't do. Karina smiled at Vincent before she attacked but she could tell he was getting annoyed. He had not had a chance to attack much this fight since their team was already over powered enough as it is. With a small encouraging smile. (Yes Karina actually smiled, this is one for the record books!) Karina ran forward and struck the Infernal Engine.

D'daear barely managed to bring up his keyblade in time to diverge some of the damage that would have otherwise REALLY hurt. The young man went off, his soles skidding against the floor from the hit. "Ow!" D'daear uttered. It was alright, it was only a flesh wound. Shaking the damage off, he tightened his keyblade. He watched as his teammates began to work together to take out the possessors, one of them even taking out the one that had hurt him. "Thanks!" the young man acknowledged. Now it was HIS turn. He ran up to a possessor, and swung his keyblade with unrefined swordsmanship. "Take this!" he shouted.

Krowley pointed forward and let loose another fireball to add to Mushu's flaming offensive. "Fire!" The fireball fired forward and hit the monster smack dab under his right glowing eye. Surely that would have been able to pile on some damage. Funny little match to his previous attack on the monster's left. The creature was weakening, and there wasn't many fancy attacks he wanted to portray during the battle. Everyone was strong enough to take the menace down, but he was just pleased to add his fair share.

Kaida was definitely not fond of that last hit. She had been pretty quiet for the duration of the fight so far and it probably seemed odd for the people on this team that had known she was a chatterbox, but she didn't talk much during fights. Her full concentration was on her enemy. Kaida watched Glen attack and decided it would be best for her to jump in immediately after to not give it time to recover. She threw her keyblade, it just barely missing Glen and hitting the foe.

Not long after the last Possessor dissapated, the black floor became all too alive for the company to stand firmly on it. Instead, Steel, Luna, Beast, Kross, D'daear, Panchito, Jose, and Donald sank into the floor; down to their ankles, the floor only solidified around their feet back into marble when they risked sinking any farther.

Karina was getting really irritated with the boss battle and all the times it would stop taking damage. All she could do at the moment was do her best to prepare for the next round. All that Karina could think of doing for that is casting Gravity again. This time her hit wouldn't effect it nearly as much but it could still do quite a but of damage, and every little bit helped.
