    Wart grasped the hilt of the sword with such a surprised expression. He looked above as a glimmer of light dawned on him from the dark clouds. As just a young boy, he found it odd that it only happened when his hands were on the sword. His heart was racing as he didn't know what to do. what would happen if he pulled the sword? He knew it was there for a while, but no one had ever actually removed it from the stone. He didnt know what consequences would happen, but the purple armored woman looked onto him with intrigue, making him even more uneasy.

    "Well, well, the champion reveals himself... Now go on and just bring the sword to me," she held out her hand in the most gentle way, as if she were a mother offering her hand to her child. Wart was too unnerved to think rationally. All he knew was that she put away too high caliber mages with just a simple spell. Without even thinking, he pulled his hand away from the stone, with his han still grasping the sword. Far back enough that he ended up sliding the blade out without any effort for the tip of the blade to hit the ground. He wasn't fully strong enough to lift it with more ease. The light that shone down on him before shined bright as the new and future king had pulled the sword. Wart was too afraid to notice though. He simply tried to lift the heavy sword in Nequa's direction to show that he was armed.

    "Well that's embarrassing," Gilgamesh grunted from his fallen backside.
    Merlin looked in astonishment. "By jove... and here I am, almost having doubts." As a seer of the future, Merlin could foretell many things, but the boy pulling out the sword was a surprise event o his experienced eyes.

    Mizu was still sleeping, but fluttered her eyes slightly from the sense of wonder that had just happened.

    Nequa attempted to step forward to Wart, but was cut off by Goofy who held his righteous shield in front of the boy.
    "Well you wouldn't be heroes if you didn't try to stop me..." she summoned a keyblade and twirled it around. "Get out your timers boys! I want to see how fast I can do this!"

    Ananta watched in amazement as Wart removed the sword from the stone. "Good job Wart!" she called out, glaring at Nequa with a smirk. "Sorry, but he's the wielder of that weapon. And no matter what you do, you won't be abl-" she said, getting cut short by a Mega Flare to the face. The impact caused Ananta to fly backwards and hit the stone wall, leaving a few cracks and misplaced bricks. Coughing as the wind was knocked out of her, she gasped and woke up as she realized all of her party members were defeated. Attempting to stand up, her knees wobbled as she used her keyblade to prop herself up. "Tch, you thought that could beat me, huh?" she coughed more, standing up and walking over to Nequa again. Of course, this girl soon disappeared and Ananta looked around, trying to find out where she went. Ananta felt a searing pain in her side as she turned to see that Nequa's shadow had stabbed Ananta's shadow. "No! Not my shadow! I need that....!" she called out, collapsing once more.

    The level of surprise of when Walt had pulled out the sword had died down a bit when he officially branded it as his weapon and held it out toward Nequa. Now despite the fact that Wart might not be all that skilled with the sword, it was still better than the witch herself getting the weapon herself. Unfortunately that didn't save them from her mega flare spell.

    That one spell alone had almost wiped them all out. Heck the only reason that Ananta and himself were even standing was due to the phoenix down that they had. Now they'd had already lost half their fighting force and not a single bit of damage had been done to the witch before them. Things were not looking good for them.

    Next Nequa had used her shadow to attack the remaining two. Another fatal blow was dealt which left Kel being the only one standing. Was it mostly because of the spare phoenix down he had, yep. Did it change the face that Nequa, the person responsible for his pains in so many worlds, had left him as the last man standing. Not really. If there was ever a time to pull a miracle out of his butt, it would be now for the witches shadow had gone in for the final attack. Right before the shadow had struck, Kel said. "Screw you ya lousy stalker." Right as his shadow was hit, bringing the warrior down.

    Beuce wasn't too surprised at the fact that Wart had been able to pull the sword from the stone, more worried about the results. Nequa was now more than capable of taking the holy blade from him. They were his only defense, lot of good that did. All the planning and preparation in the world couldn't have saved them from Nequa's onslaught. Her power was unbelievable. The massive fire attack at the beginning had been all it took to bring him down. He grunted as he struggled to hold himself into a halfway sitting up position from his back. He wasn't unconscious, but he was in no condition to fight. She was slinging magic like no other. They didn't stand a chance to begin with. That Mega-Flare spell was something...Maybe...An idea struck in his mind. It wouldn't help them save the holy sword, but it might help them get it back later. "Kid, i don't think you're going to be able to beat her. Don't put up a fight, you'll only get yourself killed. If you knew how to use that then there's a chance you'd be able to win, but you can barely lift it. We'll get it back from her, trust me. I'd never let someone like her have the last laugh." He said weakly. Even in his injured state, his air of cockiness and the humor in his voice didn't disappear. This was made more apparent by the fact he wasn't actually looking at the boy while he said this, but rather staring at the backside of a certain evil apprentice. He knew that if he was going to win against her ever, he'd need magic as strong as hers. Mizu was a powerful mystic to be sure, but there were only a certain few who could teach him what he needed to know to take on Nequa. He'd find them, defeat them, and get the power he needed.

    To say everything went as wrong as it could have gone would be quite the understatement. Sure, Wart pulling out probably one of the mightiest and most powerful swords in existence was cool, put it was downplayed by the fact that the biggest threat he'd ever seen, which admittedly wasn't that many, was standing right before them. Plus the kid could barely use the blade at all so this only meant that the situation had gone from bad to much much worse. As things stood, all the keyblade wielders could do was act as some sort of meat shield to...well Stratos actually had legitimately no idea what to do in this situation. Speaking from the most objective viewpoint he could, they were so boned.

    The masked wielder seemed to be tired of the banter and wanted the sword now. As something that could not even be called a fight got underway, she simply shot a ball of flame that erupted engulfing the entire party. The pain immediately blanketed Stratos as he couldn't stand against the attack at all. Some of his clothes caught fire, and he was visibly burned from the attack as he went down immediately. Trying to pick himself back up, he couldn't move without the pain being too unbearable and as such he lied there, slowly drifting in and out. If only he could use his Trip Around the Sun here. No. Not even that would be enough to bring her down. It was also too far too inconsistent to be relied upon against this fight. So what could he do? Physically, Stratos was naturally weak. Magically, Stratos was average. Defense wise, Stratos couldn't even take hits as well as their main attacker could. So how was he supposed to overcome this enemy? Unable to find out an answer, Stratos finally couldn't take it anymore and passed out.

    Signals of defiance coursed through his body and onto his legs as D'daear attempted to get free of the tar that surrounded his ankles. They had all done their part at restoring the teams strength, but with the tar hindering their mobility, that was all they could do. Kross however had abilities that were more than capable, even with restrained feet, and managed to find a way to bring harm to the creatures health. He shouted his spell, and summoned bolts of lightning onto the invader. Widened blue irises kept watch at the display of ingenuity, and caused D'daear's lips to stretch in happiness. "Not bad, Kross!" came D'daear's loud voice, possibly echoing due to the vast rooms acoustics. Their mobility may have been hindered for the moment, but they could still attack with range. Forearm muscles tightened in expression to the young keyblade wielders grip, closing any small gaps between his fingers and the handle of his weapon. A strike from him would have to come from his keyblade; since he at the moment knew no other magic other than the close quarter mines that presently surrounded him. Determined to strike, the enemy was now reflecting off the center of his corneas with eyebrows deeply furrowed in concentration. Lifting his armed hand to three o clock position just behind him, he gathered everything he had and swung his arm forward, timing it just right so that the muscles controlling his grip would loosen up, and release the hold on the keyblade, sending it spiraling like a disk towards the time manipulated Heartless.

    Steel felt a sudden burst of power. He grinned evilly. He doubled over before a burst of light and darkness erupted as he stood up straight once more. Luminescent angel wings and murky dragon wings practically filled the room as his bonus ability activated.

    "School's End!"
    Post likelihood increased by 20%

    Steel pushed aside his anger at missing his last turn. He formulated a new plot as the wings behind him faded; he could put his old plan into action once the tar was gone. He held up his keyblade as a ring of red light gathered at the tip. "Fire!" He shouted as a small explosion leapt forth and rushed to greet the twisted giant.

    With the battle one, clouds of smoke dispersed from the doors in the form of tiny cloud-like heartless with bright yellow eyes. With the possessor heartless freed from the doors, the creatures that were part of the frame had now faded, revealing the same wooden doors they encountered before. The battle was most definitely not an illusion, but the way things had just transpired with the sudden calm almost made it seem so. Regardless, Rapunzel was on her bare feet and looking around to make sure everyone was okay. They were still a bit dazed and injured, so she quickly ran by them and tossed enough of her blonde hair so that strands would fall on each person.

    "Flower, gleam and glow, Let your power shine, Make the clock reverse, Bring back what once was mine.
    Heal what has been hurt, Change the Fates' design, Save what has been lost, Bring back what once was mine…
    What once was mine!"

    With the healing incantation, her hair glowed and as she had already demonstrated, healed any remaining or bruised injuries. Any ailments affecting the party were now removed. "Everyone alright?" she asked. Looking around, no one seemed to have been afflicted anymore, which was good news for her. Anything to keep this train moving. Her mother was in trouble and she still needed their help to defeat the masked boy. "Great!" she acknowledged, rushing to the door. Fearing any traps, she opened it with caution, but became quickly hesitant at the sound of her mother's voice. It was angry and hostile. Last time she had heard that tone was when Rapunzel asked to go see the floating lights. Her mother forbid it and sparked this whole adventure. And now, Rapunzel kept a big green eye in between the crack of the door to see what her mother was discussing with the boy.

    They were both on ground level, with Gothel looking unamused. "We had a deal!" she argued.
    "I still don't see what the issue is now. I take the girl, you keep the hair. Easy peasy."
    "You don't get it! Her hair's healing powers won't work if it's cut! the hair is useless to me unless it's attached. Why do you think I kept after her all this time?! Its the only way the incantation works!"

    Part of Rapunzel broke inside after hearing those words. The person she wanted so hard to please only kept her for her powers. The same powers she claimed other people were after.

    "Tsk, tsk, that was just embarrassing." Nequa looked around past Gilgamesh, to all the recently fallen wielders. Stratos, Ananta, Kel, Beuce and even Goofy were all down on the floor, slowly recovering from combat. "I mean like... I'm embarrassed for you. You held up your swords and that 'I can totally take her,' and then I did stuff and you couldn't attack. And it was fun, but sad. It was fad." She walked along the bodies of each wielder slowly making her way back to Wart. She was about to pass Ananta, but hesitated. Last she saw, the girl was stabbed by her own shadow. One of Nequa's more favored attack. She crouched down to the fallen girl and tilted her head. "Speaking as a fellow girl, I know you're probably holding a grudge against me right now. Also speaking as a girl, I know it's not healthy to hold grudges. Especially after that travesty. Like, any items you used were just WASTED from that slaughter." Nequa was purposely trying to anger her.

    "Point being; sucking that bad sucks. So for this one time offer, I give you, little miss green apple hair a one time punch to my face!" She moved her chin to the left and gave her a window of opportunity.

    Ananta grunted, feeling pain all over herself. As she laid there, all she could hear was Nequa mocking them for their poor performance. Ananta was going to blame the fact they just fought Mim, but she stopped herself. Nequa had bent down to talk to her. Ananta glared at her stupid face for a bit before Nequa gave her a chance to punch her. Ananta smirked, holding her crystal in her hand, and said a thank you in her world's language. Her arm suddenly grew muscley again (like it had done at the start of the world) and she propped herself up on the other arm. Leaning back to give the punch more kick, she threw her entire weight into the punch. She watched to see what happened, if anything, towards Nequa. Nequa didn't move, but she could tell this punch was pretty hard.

    Although Kaida had previous knowledge about it, and had still seen it during the battle, it still amazed her that Rapunzel's hair was... well... glowing. After Rapunzel had healed them, she smiled and gave a polite, "Thank you." Before all of them had continued on. When they got to the room, Kaida heard pretty much everything that Rapunzel had heard, and then Kaida grabbed Rapunzel's shoulder and whispered, "I have a bad feeling that your... mother... is not in trouble..." She looked over at the rest of the group and immediately grabbed a stronger hold on Rapunzel's shoulder and pulled her away and started walking off, "We are getting out of here. Now. If you guys want to go and fight that masked guy fine, but I'm not getting the princess in danger because of it."

    "Princess? What do you mean?" Rapunzel chimed in at the sound of it.

    Kaida froze in her tracks when she realized what she had said. The one job she had and the one thing she needed to keep quiet she just totally messed up and she let out a sigh, "...I'll tell you about it when you aren't in danger okay? I know you came here to save her, but she doesn't seem to need saving."

    Kaida then looked back at Rapunzel and smiled, "Just trust me for now okay? Now lets get out of here." and she quickly started to run off back in the direction they came.

    Blue eyes stared in contained frustration at the large heartless, dull in the current predicament everyone was in. It seemed everyone had known exactly what to do, except himself. Steel, Luna, and Kross had all done something magical which enabled them to keep active during the prolonged moment. Options, that's what everyone needed, and unfortunately for D'daear that was something he lacked. With a dulled sigh, curiosity turned his attention to Beast, whom stood there motionless. What was he thinking? How was he feeling right now? Oh how D'daear understood the man-beast's motionless silence, being confined to the tar substance. It seemed the two had a lot in common in terms of limitations regarding ranged combat. Beast only had his powerful bellow, whereas he himself only knew how to fling his keyblade; which really took the energy out of his arm for a while. Once more his eyes peered down at his restrained ankles. He had stopped resisting the tar that was keeping him at bay. Every muscle in his body was crying out agitated silence at the lack of moment as he submitted to the only possibility: To stand still and do nothing. Knees buckled into a low crouch, tucking his knees close to his chest while he wrapped his arms around himself. The essence of gloom over took him, cheeks and lips dropping in his poor moment of action. "Aaw maaaaaan...."

    Steel knew that his best bet to end the fight was to use his strategy right now. He twirled himself and his keyblade, leaving it in a 4:00 position. "Bibbity!" He twirled again, this time into a 8:00 position. "Bobbity!" Finally he pointed it into a 12:00 position. "Boo!" A distant star shone brightly as blue light faded into focus next to him. The fairy godmother appeared in the same pose. They relaxed their stances. Then he bowed to her and she curtsied to him. "My lady, I ask that you summon the 3 cabelleros." As she faded and the fiesta reappeared, he shouted to the others. "This is our chance, hit him with all you've got!".

    Glen couldn't believe what was going on. Not only was Gothel not in danger, but the only reason she kept Rapunzel around was because of her hair, which apparently could heal with a simple song? Did this mean that it wasn't Kaida that was the princess, but Rapunzel? On top of everything, she had also been working with Vanitas. This got Glen's blood boiling. He gave a swift nod as Kaida said she was going to take the princess away. "I'll kill the masked coward" he said, a slightly grim edge to his voice as he spoke. This was what he had been waiting for; a chance to kill Vanitas.
