Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Kel had gotten bored with just sitting outside waiting, so he went inside to see how Luna was doing. He'd just gotten to the door when he hear Etrius outburst. He simply stopped were he stood and listen. If things sounded like they were getting out of hand, than he would interfere.

 

Steel Couldn't resist Laughing. A loud mocking laugh. "I tried to approach this calmly but it seems I have no choice" He thought. His outer exterior turned very Cold. "You are Not a fool" he said in a voice that wasn't necessarily his, or anyone's for that matter. "If you are so worried about her, would you truly risk a fight in this small room? Pathetic. If you do not care do not pretend that you do." As he began his next sentence his voice grew deeper. "If you have been through much, you should not assume no one else has. Watching your parents die is no easy thing but it is still not as difficult as-" Steels voice cut off. His expression became pained as an unnatural void filled the room. For what may have been hours or minutes steel struggled, twitching and slapping as if at an Unknown enemy.

The pain was Magnifying, so he knew he was winning. He clutched his hand between his head and let out an unearthly wail. Weather or not the wail came from him or the other force Steel had never been able to tell. Then suddenly as it came the force was gone. Steel panted, for the struggle had been difficult. "That.... was too close." He said aloud. he looked at Etrius Unsure if he had experienced the time loop over which Steel had no control.

 

Etrius went on. " I didn't just come here to help save the worlds," His voice had started to sound inhuman. "I'm not fond of killing. If I defeat someone, I make sure that they aren't dead. However, there is only one person in this entire universe that I would kill." Etrius sat down. His eyes were no longer yellow, but a blood red color.

 

It seemed Etrius hadn't Noticed the time loop so Steel said Nothing. When he saw Etrius' Unnatural Eye color, he realized his own Mysterious eye was uncovered. Etrius hadn't seemed to be aware of that fact either, so he quickly moved his hair back over his left eye. He then opted to stay quiet to see how Etrius would continue.

 

Kel listen in to their conversation. Something wasn't right about those two. Though will the stuff he was keeping secret, he had no right to judge. Still, to almost start something with an injured in the room. Fortunately the situation had seemed to die down, but he still kept listening in.

 

Etrius looked at Luna, then back to Steel. This boy was trying to cheer him up, not wear him down. He knew that this wasn't worth fighting for. His eyes suddenly returned to normal color. "My head hurts." Etrius' voice had returned to normal, but sounded tired. He needed to clear his head. He threw his hand to the wall and opened a Dark Pathway. He walked through the portal and it closed. Etrius had not said a word as he left.

 

"I'd better go get Kross, it's been a while after all." He turned Check Luna's Heart Rate. Normal. She probably just needed rest. But the amount of time she would need to regain her energy was phenomenal. Plus the food and water she would need may put her life in danger. He turned around and opened the Door...

 

Luna had started to regain consiousness. She opened her eyes and tried to see where she was. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Steel leaving the room. Luna tried to sit up. "W-what happened? Where am I?" Her right shoulder and both her arms were stinging as she tried to sit up.

 

"That was some show you put on." He said to Steel as he walked by him. After that whole fiasco, he was glad that everything had clamed down. Still, if their new allies didn't get along, then it could be disastrous later. "Next time, try not to edge him on to much." The last thing he wanted was two allies fighting each other.

 

kel seemed to be referring to Steels Outburst of Cold Criticism, But how much had he Heard? Etrius had lost consciousnesses, but Steel hadn't realized that kel had been outside the room. Who was and was not effected by the void was random each time. Could it have been possible that kel had eavsdropped on a time loop and not have even known it?

 

Kel said nothing more as he went into the room and saw Luna awake. The made one less thing to worry about. "Inside one of the rooms in the Land of Departure." While he knew that she knew that she was still in the Land of Departure, including it was the best way for him to answer her question.

 

Hearing Kel respond to her question, a sharp pain through her right shoulder and both of her arm stung as Luna sat up. "Oww! What happened to me anyway? How did I get here?" Luna began to ry and stand up as she asked her questions.

 

Steel Resolved that rather than worry about kel he should go see if he could find kross. Judging by kel's reaction when he entered the room Luna had awakened as soon as he left. "Typical." he Whispered to himself. But he was in no hurry to go back in. This was the perfect opportunity to gauge the skills of kross and Karina. He walked down the hall...

 

"I wouldn't move around too much." Kel said. Eventhough he had awaken, it still didn't mean that she was in top form. "The guy were sparring with brought you here after you black out." He still didn't quite know the reason behind that, but decided not to ask her.

 

SOMEWHERE IN THE DARK CORRIDOR

Echos revebrated on and off, sounds of so many hearts passing through, unnoticed by the boy in the black, red and purple cloak. Darkness rose off the boys shoulders as he looked at his hands. Time for him, was running out. "Theres no mistake of it." He said sadly, "Every single time I use darkness I'll become one of them." Out a long way off, was a Heartless, wandering alone. It was looking for prey. It then dissapeared. Etrius looked back at his hands. Luna was probably awake by now. Etrius stood up, and opened yet another Dark Portal that led to Luna's room. He needed to shape up and control his anger...or risk becoming a Heartless.

 

As Steel walked through the halls, he continued to think about the situation. He sensed other beings in the hallways, beings he hadn't met yet. But it seemed that they were not near his location at the current time, so he did not worry. "The more important issue, is whats wrong with time." As he wandered the halls, he Couldn't help thinking about the possible cause.... and effect. He went outside and leaned against the outer wall with his arms crossed. It was time to watch Kross and Karina train.

 

As Etrius entered the room, he was glad to see Luna awake, and the boy who had ordered Etrius to watch over her, was checking to see if Luna was alright. The smoke that Etrius was emitting had dissapeared, but his heart was heavy with memories, regrets, and fear of what might happen. "Glad to see that you've woken up." Etrius said to Luna in an unreadable tone. He then turned to the boy, his eyes looking at him meaningfully, and asked, "May I have a minute to talk to her? You can talk to her once I'm done."

 

Kel nodded and left to room to give him his privacy. While he wouldn't go far, this time he wasn't planning on listening in on whatever they were going to say. Maybe he would go for a simply walk, or just wait around. Either way, he needed to do something to keep himself preoccupied.

 

"Steel looked on as Kross and Karina continued to train. It seemed to him that for Kross, the goal was merely to convince Karina to open up. "Likely a futile effort." he thought. For Karina however, he sensed that honor was on the line. "Less Foolish," he considered, "but still not as important as our primary goal." Oh well, it didn't truly matter to him. Dreams and Honor meant nothing in his eyes, at least not anymore. What the two of them did, or what any of them did, Did not matter so long as he accomplished his goal.

 

Trying to stand up, Luna smelled the scent of darkness emitting from Etrius. There is darkness emitting from him. Not to mention the scent he's giving out. She thought to herself for a moment. "What did you want to talk to me about?" Luna was quite curious as to why Etrius wanted to talk to her alone. As she asked her wounds were stinging. Luna ignored the pain in her wounds as she tried to recollect her memories of earlier.
