Last Names

LOL. me,too!!!! i don't know why, either. but last names wouldn't change the game at all. they'd just have last names. no diff.

 

I think last names are for more teenage games, and kids dont really worry about last names. I think in Kingdom Hearts they were trying to interest younger players.

 

Exactly. It would be more work for them to put in last names that wouldn't have any effect on the story, so they just didn't bother.

 

Last names would be pointless, it's better with first names only.

I gave them names in my mind:

Sora Kou
Kairi Hikari
Riku Daichi

 

That's a very good question. I think they should give last names to the main characters since they're so important. But, who knows? Maybe they're saving the last names to be released later in the series for some random epic-ness of some kind. (OMG Xehanort and Riku have the same last names! They're related!!! :p)

But... I really don't know why they haven't given out last names yet.

 

I agree. That may be why they are doing it. So they could have some interesting plot twist.

 

Riku wouldn't be the same with a last name though.

That makes no sense...but that's all I got....*sighs* guess they don't get a last name anyway, it'd sound too weird.

Can anyone think of any last names that would fit them? Because I can't.

 

KH1 wasn't that recent. And after they created the first, they couldn't really alter info in the second.

 

Maybe they wanted to do an easier final fantasy y'know...instead of Zack Fair who wanted to improve on SOLDIER...bla bla just Sora the guy that has a keyblade. :)

 

Usually in literature when minors don't have last names it implies that they are a free spirit; independent from their parents or the rule of an adult.
