"You looked like a real mage." Miko walked up and hugged Aerith.

 

Serah smiled and put the hat back on.

 

Miko and Aerith smiled, watching them.

 

Serah went back to demonstrating her magic.

 

Miko and Aerith left to talk.

 

Serah stopped and smiled.

"So what do you think, mom?"

 

"That was wonderful, Serah."

 

"Thanks mom." Serah said as she took off her hat.

 

Lana smiled.

Miko and Aerith went up to the heavens. "What does it mean? Serah's eyes glowed yellow when she wore the hat."

 

"Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe she was born to be a black mage." Cyrus said.

 

"He's right, Miko." Aerith told her, Miko sighed. "When you were a mage, your eyes didn't glow."

 

"Aerith wasn't a pure black mage, though."

 

"No, she was a summoner, half white mage, half black mage." Miko sighed, and looked down.

 

"Serah on the other hand is purely a black mage."

 

"Right........"

"By the way, thanks for that one spirit you sent up." Miko stared at them, expressionless. She had found and killed Serah's real mother, but she didn't even tell Kyo about that.

 

Cyrus knew what Miko had done, but told nobody.

 

Miko sighed and shook her head. She laid down and stared down.

 

"What's wrong, Miko?" Marcus asked.

 

"I have a good guess. It's about what Ren said, isn't it?" Kyo appeared, receiving a hug from Hikari.

 

"Don't let it trouble you."
