"I know.......... But, still......... it would have been nice to have a family around........."

 

"Your family is here for you now." Elinia said as she sat next to Maya.

 

Maya looked at her and hugged her.

 

Elinia hugged her back, shedding a few tears.

 

Maya began to cry as well. Kyo and Miko smiled, then left to give them some alone time.

 

"So you married the prince of the kingdom. He's quite a catch." Elinia said.

 

Maya blushed deeply, "Mom!"

 

"It's true. Be glad you got to him first."

 

Maya sighed and nodded.

 

"So what's he like?"

 

"He's kind, caring, really strong, brave, and handsome."

 

"Sounds like a really good guy."

 

Maya smiled and nodded with a slight blush on her face. "Since I can't remember it, what's it like up in the heavens?"

"Extremely boring." Miko walked past them, carrying two bouquets.

 

"You got that right. The only entertainment we gods get is during our trips down here."

 

"But what about Miko and Kyo? They told me they're over a thousand years old. Why is that?"

 

"The elder god gave them immortality so they could watch over the Sindori for eternity."

 

Maya looked at Miko who left them and sighed. "They must be really be close to the gods."
