Legend of Dragoon: Advent of the Sindori

"It's you.....I didn't know you lived in such a small house."

 

"What can I do about it? I'm a thief, gonna live with I got." The blue stone she left in her room began to glow.

The silver stone Kyo had around his neck began to glow, he and Miko knew what that meant. They left to discover what it was reacting to.

 

"You've got a stone just like mine...." Ghaleon said as he held out his glowing stone.

 

Maya held out the stone as Kyo and Miko appeared. Miko sighed, Kyo smiled. "After so long, the Dragoons are returning."

 

"Kyo? Miko? What are you doing here? Father didn't send you two after me again, did he?"

 

"No. My charm was beginning to react to yours, Ghaleon."

"You might as well tell that we're both a lot older than we look."

 

"What are you talking about, and what's with these stones?"

 

"These are Dragoon spirits. For the longest time, I am the wielder of the Divine Dragoon, as well as the grand-father of your ancestor, Princess Aerith Nightroad."

"The goddess of summons?!" Maya was shocked to say the least. Miko sighed, "Kyo and I are over a thousand years old."

 

"Over a thousand years old?! How's that even possible?!"

 

"When Zephyr was the goddess of life, she revived me and Miko when we were killed with the power to change into creatures that mirrored our personalities. But we couldn't age for some reason. By the way, Miko, you make it sound like it is a bad thing."

"I don't know why you're so calm, Kyo. Your family and mine are both deities in the heavens."

 

"So how do I use this stone exactly?"

 

"When the time is right, your purpose will be revealed." Kyo changed into a silver fur wolf and walked with Miko.

 

Ghaleon shrugged and looked at Maya.

 

Maya sighed. "That talk of family makes me wonder about my own. I'm just some orphan with no past at all, a just lowly thief with some skills."

 

Ghaleon started to walk back to the castle.

"If you need something, come to me. No point in you getting locked up for theft now. I expect you to come to the castle soon so we can have a duel."

 

"Fine, whatever, Your Royal Berserker." Maya went to her room and laid on her bed.

Miko looked out her window and sighed. Kyo was in his human form, thinking of Hikari and the others in the heavens.

 

Ghaleon returned to the castle and noticed a battle going on. Extremist groups against the Sindori would attack the castle every now and then.

"Time to have some fun." He said as he drew his sword and jumped into the fray.

 

Miko closed her eyes and sighed. 'Wish you were here right now....... Marcus, Cloud........' She looked up at the sky.

Maya sighed and stared at her Dragoon spirit.

 

Ghaleon finished fighting the invaders and sat in the courtyard, resting a bit.

 

Maya walked up to him, wearing her thief cloak with a bit of blood on it.
