Maya nodded, holding both of them close.

 

Lita smiled as she fell asleep.

 

Lena fell asleep as well.

 

Ghaleon passionately kissed Maya and smiled.

 

Maya kissed him back and smiled, holding the girls close.

 

"I know Lita will be a great swordswoman, but I wonder what Lena will be good at."

 

"Who knows?"

The figure from before waited outside the castle.

 

"She looks like she'll be very smart. Maybe she'll be a scholar or a sorceress."

 

Maya smiled and nodded.

 

Lita gently grasped her sister's hand as she slept.

 

Maya smiled, but sensed something. She summoned a water shield when the figure from before appeared.

 

Ghaleon drew his sword, ready to fight.

 

The figure pulled out a scythe and floated the twins with a wave of its hand. It tossed a ball of dark energy which almost hit them, but something saved the twins. A dragon with neon colored wings landed on the ground, carrying the twins on its back. Kyo appeared beside it in his Dragoon armor.

 

Ghaleon's eyes glowed red with rage as he attacked the figure.

 

The figure tossed the cloak to a young man who resembled Kuja, only his hair was raven black and there was no feather. Kyo sighed, and turned to the dragon. "Get the twins to safely, Miko." The dragon nodded and left, Maya took out her daggers and attacked the man.

 

Ghaleon continued his fierce assault. The clouds started to part, revealing the full moon in the sky.

 

The man was being pushed back. He smirked and jumped on the window sill, falling off the edge before disappeared. Kyo groaned and reverted to normal. Miko appeared.

 

Ghaleon felt his rage subside.

"Are the twins alright?"

 

"Yeah, I put them back in the nursery. Kyo, who was that guy?"

"I'd say he's the physical reincarnation of Kuja, just from looking at him."
