Legend of Dragoon: Advent of the Sindori

"I was wondering when you would show up. Why's there blood on your cloak?"

 

"I gave your bodyguards outside a bit of convincing to let me in." Maya smiled a little.

 

"You're pretty crafty. I'm going to enjoy our duel."

 

Maya tossed off her cloak and revealed her daggers. Miko watched in her dragon form.

 

"I'd use my sword, but I don't want to end up chopping you in half. I'll stick to my fists." He said as he stuck his sword in the ground.

 

Maya smiled and ran at him, swinging her daggers.

 

Ghaleon dodged and countered with a few quick punches.

 

Maya blocked and swiped her foot across the ground, causing him to lose his balance.

 

Ghaleon quickly recovered and attacked again.

"You'll have to do better than that."

 

Maya twirled her daggers and smiled.

 

Ghaleon laughed as they had their duel. He was really enjoying himself.

 

Maya smiled and continued to attack. Miko thought she was seeing another couple while watching them.

 

Ghaleon tried to grab her, but he tripped.

 

Maya smiled, getting ready to attack again, when she heard some voices. She groaned and flew out. Some of the guards ran up, looking around.

 

Ghaleon facepalmed when he saw the guards.

"I thought I told you not to disturb me here."

 

Miko changed to human form and pulled a ear of one of the guards. Her facial expression was enough to scare them away. She sighed, "And for a moment, I thought I saw Ryo and Lucrecia again......."

 

"Who's Ryo and Lucrecia?"

 

"You never heard of the god of darkness and the goddess of ice? This generation gap is huge!" Miko sighed, and looked into the sky.

 

"I knew of the god and goddess, I just didn't know their names. History was never my strong suit."

 

"They were a pretty happy couple, as well as Aerith and Cyrus. Man, I miss them........ As much as Marcus and Cloud............"
