Maya nodded and headed back for the castle.

 

Back at the castle the place was in chaos. There was fire and dead soliders everywhere

 

Kyo, Miko, and Maya gasped, staring at the chaos.

 

Ghaleon looked on in horror. He screamed loudly in rage.

 

Sain had already left the castle "hmph that was too easy. The pan worked. Those idiots abandoned their castle so easy" Sain said and began to laugh as he walked

 

Ghaleon handed Lita to Maya and ran in the castle, looking for survivors.

 

Maya felt tears run down her face as she stared at the castle. Lana looked at her mother and at the castle. Shiva and Leviathan appeared, using their powers to put out the fire.

 

Ghaleon walked out with a grim look in his eyes. There were no survivors.

 

"What now, your highness?" Kyo asked, knowing Ghaleon was the king now.

 

"We rebuild the castle. The kingdom has been through worse over the years, but I'm sure you know that better than I do, Kyo."

 

Kyo nodded and went to work. Miko followed him, Maya walked up to Ghaleon and sighed.

 

Ghaleon hugged her. He did his best to hide his emotions.

 

Maya held him with one arm, holding the twins in the other. Kyo had gathered a large group of workers and they began to rebuild the castle.

 

"I guess we'll go stay at your old home till the castle is rebuilt."

 

Maya led him to her old home and stepped inside. She smiled.

 

Ghaleon held Lita tickled her.

 

Maya held Lana close and sighed.

 

Ghaleon set Lita down so she could play.

 

Maya set Lana down and leaned back. She sighed, a few tears running down her face.

 

Ghaleon gently held her, wiping the tears from her eyes.
