Maya smiled back and looked up into the sky. She wondered when her mother and the other gods were doing.

 

Elinia was in a neighboring kingdom, stealing some things for the needy people of Ghaleon's kingdom.

 

Maya got ready to steal some things her people needed.

 

Elinia returned from the other kingdom and distributed the wealth.

 

Maya smiled and hugged her mother.

 

"You'll have to cut down on your thieving tendencies now that you're a queen, Maya. I'm not saying you'll have to stop altogether, but you've got a kingdom to think of now."

 

Maya nodded and sighed, looking at the people.

 

Elinia sighed.

"I know it'll be tough, but I had to do the same when I was pregnant with you, Maya."

 

"I know, but who would do something like this?" Maya sighed as Kyo and Miko walked up.

"I felt a presence similar to the god Kuro within the castle and suddenly leaving."

 

"Why did he do it though?"

 

Kyo sighed, "Probably to cause pain and destruction."

 

Ghaleon clenched his fist.

 

"He certainly did that." Miko looked at all the people weeping over those they lost.

 

Ghaleon shed a few tears.

 

Aerith appeared as a silhouette and began to perform a sending. Miko, expressionless, watched her.

 

Ghaleon kept his gaze toward the ground.

 

Aerith sent the spirits of those who died up to Cyrus. Maya watched her, Lana looked out and stared at Aerith in awe.

 

Cyrus guided the spirits to their resting place.

 

Aerith finished the sending and looked at Maya, tears running down her face.

 

Ghaleon looked up and sighed.
