Life at Camp Half-Blood

Astra grinned "You know me too well, I was for a bit but I was actually sparring with Marcus a minute ago. Anything new I should know about?" She asked.

Jen walked into her cabin "Hunh, nobodys been here lately." She started looking through the blueprints, "Nobodys been working on anything good," she sighed. She walked outside and laid down in the middle of the cabins. Got nothing else better to do, she thought as she drifted into sleep.

Appearance: Brown spiky hair, gray eyes (of course :) ), camp half-blood outfit.
Personality: Kind of still confused about the whole half-blood thing (he just joined a few days ago), trying to make new friends, kind of shy.
Weapon: Blue sword (But for now he still doesn't have his weapon yet)

An arrow whizzed out of the Apollo cabin hitting a tree 20 or 30 yards away."Knew I could hit it!" Dan said stepping out of the cabin.

 

Jen woke up and looked over at the Apollo cabin "Just...wanted...sleep," she muttered, then feel asleep again.

 

"Nothing i can tell you..."He looked at Dan."Nice shot!I could do it my sleep but nice shot!At this rate you'll be counselor in a year!"

 

Jen woke up slowly. She stood up and stretched "Hmm..I'm gonna go annoy some wood nymphs" she said as she jogged off toward the forest.

 

Astra nodded then looked over quizzically at Dan, "New camper? I'm guessing, that's not even worth mentioning?" She shook her head at Scott before walking over to Dan, "Hey. Nice shot, but you'll have to do a little better than that to steal my title. Name's Astra, counsellor of Apollo cabin. Welcome to the cabin." She said with a friendly smile. Dan was also taller than her, no suprise there, she could still show him a thing or two though, she didn't get this role for nothing.

 

Jen ran up to Dan. "Oh...hey..by the way, considering that your new, wait you are new right? Your new or I'm getting old. Anyway, back on topic, pretty good archery there, but that coming from me...well, welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" She shouted as she jogged into her cabin.

"Did i do something wrong?"He said looking at Astra .He then grabbed his arrow and aimed.He shot it,sparks started spraying out ,it split Dan's arrow in 2."Most of us can Hit anything in one shot.Although it took me 2 weeks to be able to hit something right in the center ,but you know,practice make perfect!" he said playfully nudging Dan.

 

"No, I'm just suprised when I asked if there was anything new I should know, you felt the new camper wasn't woth a mention." She smirked, "And we're not getting into this are we? How many arrows can we ruin competition? Still not to be outdone." She had her bow out in a flash and an arrow went whizzing out to split Scott's arrow in half. "I'm not counsellor for nothing"

 

"Hey!You killed Tom!Not cool."He frowned."Anyway,why are you counselor?"

OOC: You have to ask the hard questions xD But I should of seen it coming.

BIC: Astra breathed out, "Because I earnt it" She automatically replied as she tried to figure out why they had actually chose her, "I worked hard, I did well both in my archery and my healing skills." Though as she thought about it, this entire cabin was famous for it's archery and she was very talented at healing but she didn't think that was why. She looked down, she had to answer this well to keep their respect. Not a good first impression on the new camper, if she failed this either. "Although, I think it was mainly for my commitment and dedication, the descisions I made and how I led a team." She answered, "And I'm not doing too bad a job, am I?"

"Not at all."He said,putting his hand on her chin pushing it up,making her look up.He smiled."You're the best counselor here!"

 

Ben walked where it seemed that everyone was. So..I'm a 'half-blood'? none of this made any sense to him. He saw the houses, or at least they looked like houses, were shaped in a U form. He saw somebody waiting in the middle, and wondered what he was doing. He seemed to be waiting for someone, but it didn't seem like he was waiting for him. He walked a bit closer, but then hesitated. He knew far too well that he didn't care about him. He looked around, Yep..definitely won't be fitting in anytime soon.

 

Dan walked out taking off the blindfold."Oh it seems someone has split my arrow..." he yawned.He looked around at all the people."Nice to meet you."

 

Astra grinned, "Thanks Scott, means a lot." She said before looking back at Dan, "Nice to meet you too, mind me asking your name?" She asked the newest member of her cabin.

 

OOC: Sorry, I haven't been on in a long time. I'm just gonna start off with them walking back to the cabin.

Annabeth walked back to her cabin, her arrow slung over her arm. "I can't believe you beat me, Alicia! I'll have to make you Junior Counsler." She joked, sending her half sister into a giggle fit.

"I couldn't, you know me. Too much pressure." She said once she calmed down, her silver hair wafting in the wind. Alicia looked around the hill. "And I plan on letting someone else take your role when that time comes."

 

Ben looked at the girls, walking, at the kids talking, and he just stood there, alone, confused. He looked over at the Long Island Sound, it was so beautiful. He just wanted to scream, wake up, but he couldn't, but the view from this 'camp' kind of made it almost worth it. "Now wheres the," he took out a paper with Greek on it, "How am I suppose to know how to read this?" he sighed, he hoped he didn't say it too loud. He would be known as the dumb kid if he couldn't read English perfectly, or read this thing, that he thought was purely the truth. He seemed invisible to everyone, he didn't know which cabin to go to, and he didn't want to go back to Chiron, who frankly, scared Ben. "Life is perfect." he said unenthusiastically under his breath, as everybody continued with their activities, not giving him the slightest look.
