L's Academy: Change the WorLd

OoC: Right, Morgan left the RP and gave the Death Note backm to Ryuk. Ryuk dropped it in a bathroom where Just found it. Ryuk them tempted him to write a name down, and after that Just basically turned into episode 2 Light - killing people in the name of justice, but not yet a ******bag. Meanwhile, Snake decided to go look for the notebook where he first found it in the middle of the night (lol). Returning to his room, he hears Ryuk speak and peeks inside Just's room and flees, but not before Just notices someone there. The next day Snake goes to breakfast with Just and tries to catch him off-guard with a direct question about the notebook, the way L did with admitted to being L. So far, this smells of Just/Light vs Snake/L.

 

OoC:

Sorry guys, I couldn't get on yesterday I was out the entire day. Anyway, I'm back so let's continue with Just and Snake's convesation. ^_^

IC:

H-how does he know about the notebook!?

He recalled Ryuk's answer to his question of who in the academy touched the notebook. None of your business... does this mean that this guy touched it? At the very least he knows about it. Time to play dumb...

Just looked at him with a somewhat confused expression. "No, I haven't. Why, is it one of those novelty notebooks with some band name on it?"

 

OOC: <_> -skips to next day-

IC: Diary got her food and looked for a place to sit. As she was walking to her seat, she passed by two other students, one she recognized as Just, talking about a notebook. She heard he words, "Death Note".
'Is that the name of the notebook Mello was talking about?' she thought, 'I didn't hear their entire conversation... I could just pick a seat closer to them and listen...'
She'd had her hood up on her sweater the entire time, so it wouldn't be completly noticable. She also sat in a normal way to blend in, and listened.

OOC: I have a few ideas for Diary's place in this... MSN anyone?

OOC- YAY i wasnt in any of the recap! joy to the world! xD

 

OoC: Mental picture of when L tells Light that he's L. I bet when Just was having that inner monologue his eyes and hair turned red while Snake's turned blue XD

IC: Snake watched Just's face carefully. When the words 'Death Note' passed through his mind, Snake could have sworn he saw a red glint in his eyes. Snake couldn't quite place the feeling, but he was almost sure that Just had the notebook. There was an awkward instant of silence before Just replied in a confused tone.

By sure it's probably only 10 percent chance or something, Snake thought, But if he really does have it, then why hide it? What could he possibly gain from hiding an ordianry notebook?

Snake had another idea. It was even more of a stretch than his last gambit. In fact, it was a straight-out lie.

"That's funny," Snake continued innocently, "Because I saw it in your room."

I just hope he doesn't call my bluff... Snake thought desperately.

OoC: Is Snake being too suspicious? Am I making to L-ish?

I actually kind of imagine the eye color change thing when I write some of this stuff. xDD

IC:

Just was surprised by this statement, but kept his composure. He realized that his heart rate skyrocketed when Snake said the words death note, and he probably made some kind of smirk in response last time. He had to keep calm this time. When was he in my room, or anywhere near- wait was he the one I heard running last night? He obviously knows that the death note is no ordinary notebook. Otherwise he would have never brought it up even if he did see it. I better keep my eye on this one...

"Did you? You know it was probably my insane roommate. I think his alias is Keg, but I'm not sure. He's always going out to parties and getting drunk, god know what- or who for that matter- the guy brings back. Anyway, is it your notebook? I could ask him about it."

Haha well you didn't do a lot of mainstream plot stuff. Team up with Snake to try and catch me, that's plot related! >D

 

OOC: Paladin, do you have MSN, Aim, Yahoo or Skype? o.o

I have so many ideas that would have to be explained throughout the story xD it's insane.

Also, Paladin, In How to Read, they say L lies when he makes the percentages. He actually only makes percentages when he is at least 90% sure a suspect is guilty. I know it has little to do with that, because L and Snake are two different people, but still. xP

 

OOC- can anyone give me ideas.. I have 0 ideas right now what to do next. You guys are eating and im in the hall walking slowly to class.

IC-

Koian turned around and walked back to the Cafe to read more. She walked in and was about to sit down near Just and Snake. Suddenly since she was wearing high heels she tripped and fell! Koian landed all over Just. She may have landed in a bad way. Koian blushed and didnt move for a second or so. She stood up quickly off Just and said quickly and quietly, "Oh! Im so sorry!"

 

OoC:

IC:

Just looked down at the blushing girl who had fallen on him. "Hehe, it's fine." he said as he helped her pick up her books. He handed the remaining books back to her. He looked at her shoes, "Heels aren't the best choice of footwear for a busy place like this. Are you alright? Name's Just by the way."

 

Koian put her books into her bag again. Just had her Kira Cases book in his hand still. "I know, i just like them and i thought i would wear them now because later today they are having the Track and Feild Team try-outs." She said puts a pen into her bag. "By the way, my names Koi." She puts into her sentence.

 

OOC: They heard each other's aliases in the office, didn't they?

IC: Diary looked up suddenly, it sounded as if someone fell; it turned out to be that Koian... err, Koi (Diary found it to be such an odd alias) girl who'd given out her full name in L's office. Whoops.

Diary never wore heels, she couldn't stand them. She didn't see the point in wearing something so annoying. She always thought comfort over fashion, to avoid any clothes that might cause a disraction or be an irritant.

OOC: Just notices Diary plz? that'd be interesting.

IC:

"Oh you run track? I used to run a little at my old school." he said, looking at the Kira Cases book. "This must be interesting..." he said looking intently at the book. I didn't know that they had information on the Kira Case available to the general public like this... He handed the book back to Koi and sat back down, "Care to join us?" he asked. Let's get off the subject of the note book... He made sure he didn't make any obvious facial expressions that would indicate his evasion of the topic of the note book.

Just then, Diary began to come over. She's the one who's most dangerous to me. If she is the one who touched the death note and she also aspires to be a Kira-esque figure, she may find a way to get rid of me if she needs to since she knows my real name...gotta play it natural.

"Hey," he called over to Diary, "it's Diary, right? What's up?"

 

OoC: Truly you are ^_^. BTW, Carbuncle, I only have Skype, and I'm not sure about that, so... you know. Oh, and about the percentages, that's exactly what I was thinking at the time. XD

IC: Snake was jarred out of his private world as Koian tripped and fell across Just. Her books spilled over him and they both spent a few moments apologising and gathering the things. Snake noticed Diary arrive and Just greeted her.

Hmm, I bet Just's glad for this distraction, Snake thought suspiciously. He somewhat doubted that this 'Keg' guy existed. Once again, he thought of the creature that only he had been able to see.

"Hey, I'm Snake," Snake introduced himself.
