L's Academy: Change the WorLd

Koian almost fell asleep in her seat but stayed awake and paid attention. She needed somethign else to read. She looked around then grabed a bag by her, It was Just's bag. She wasnt paying attention because Just's and hers were next to each other. Koian ziped open the bag and grabed the closest book. It was the Death Note she grabed. A cold spiny chilling feeling wen though her. What was that! I never felt anythign like that before! It was nothing.. I bet.. When she saw it was Just's bag she droped the book and ziped teh bag close puttign it back. I hope he didnt see! That would be embarasing! She paid attention back to the teacher for the rest of class.

Just shifted his eyes slightly after hearing a light thump on the floor. He then heard a swift zip. He looked at Koi who looked a bit embarrassed and whispered, "What's up?"

Was she in my bag? God help me if she found the notebook... He waited for her to respond while pretending to pay attention to the lecture.

 

Koian went white of true embarasement. "Nothing. I just got into my bag for a second." She wispered back, pretendign to listen to the teacher.

"Alright." Just responded quietly as he turned back to the teacher in the front. Even if she happened to see anything, the notebook was covered. I doubt that within that time frame she would have been able to open the notebook and see anything. Of course if she did see it then I'm screwed because of all she knows about the Kira Case...

He turned and paid full attention to his teacher.

 

OOC- how about Ryuk sneaks out of ur room and goes to the girls bathroom to be intertained? x3

Koian bit her lip as she raised her hand for the teacher. "May I be exscused?" She said getting up and leaving the room. She heads down the hall torwards the girls bathroom.

Hmmmm... might put suspicion on Just. But I guess so.

IC:

Just glance quickly as Koi left, Wait...On the off chance she touched that notebook and that shinigami decided to explore the school a little... Oh god I have to do something!

Just waited about a minute and raised his hand and asked to go to the bathroom also. He rushed out and low and behold, the shinigami was walking- or floating rather- right near the girl's bathroom.

He whispered to the floating fiend, "RYUK! Get your ass over here!" The monster flew over with a frustrated look on his face, "What the hell are you doing!?" he continued to whisper as he called him over into the boy's bathroom, all the while making sure no one was in there.

"Oh come on, Just! I'm a lonely guy!"

Just stood with a shocked and somewhat sickened look on his face.

"W-w-what the hell did you just say?"

"Come on! I'm lonely and bored! Did you know there's a rule that shinigami are forbidden to have sex!? For the love of god, just cut off my-"

"SHUT UP!" he said slightly louder. "Satisfy your sick sexual fantasies later! When I'm certain that no one around here can see you!"

Ryuk looked at him a bit confused, "Did someone touch the notebook?"

"Maybe. She was rummaging through my bag for some reason. I think she may be suspicious of me. But then again who isn't now?"

Ryuk laughed, "Sloppy. I knew one human who was willing to put his house in danger of burning down just to set up an intricate hiding place for the notebook. You however took five seconds to make a cover and decided that would ward off any and all suspicion. Your not nearly as good as Li- oh, sorry. I shouldn't reveal his name for privacy reasons. That and the fact that he's still alive."

"Does that mean he could see you by the off chance he ever came here?" Just asked.

"Nah, he lost his memories of the notebook a while ago. No worries there. Though it would be very entertaining to watch you squirm because he is very clever." Ryuk said, laughing afterwards.

"Shut up! At least laugh quieter!" Just said. "Alright, here's the deal, Ryuk. Either you stay in the room and I provide you with a few... magazines. Or I stop getting you apples."

"Ahhhhhhh fine! I'll take the damn apples." Ryuk said, "You better get me those freaking magazines." he mumbled.

"Fine." Just said. "Just go back to the room."

 

Koian was nearing the bathroom area. She need to do something. When she saw the foutain in teh middle of the boys and girls bathroom, koian went to the drinking foutain for a drink. When she leaned down to take a sip while pressing the button, she heard a strange loud laugh coming from the boys bathroom. What the heck was that!?!?! It didnt sound normal.. When done drinking she raised her head and walked into the girls bathroom.

 

Just heard footsteps outside the bathroom, Great, who knows what that person could've thought of my whispering? Or if that was Koi... Oh crap...

"Ryuk!" Just continued whispering, "Leave now!"

"Sheesh! Fine!" Ryuk replied, "Get those magazines-"

"I'll get your freaking magazines! Now leave!"

Just looked outside the boy's bathroom, "Ok, go!" he said. Ryuk floated away towards the boy's dorms rather quickly as to Just's command. Just then left the bathroom.

 

Koian was finishing the final touches on her hair taht she was fixing. She washed her hands and moved teh door open a little. She gasped in horor and fear of what she saw! Koian saw a beast floating in mid-air flying quickly torwards the dorm areas. She moved back inside and shut the door quickly yet quietly. She couldnt belive what she had seen!

 

Just heard quick footsteps Oh my god... could it be?

Just was fairly certain that Koi had seen Ryuk since as far as he could see, she was the only one in the area. Why else would she run to the bathroom when she had just been inside it moments before?

So she did touch the notebook... But she doesn't have to know. No nonfiction book could have information on a god of death. Having information on the death note is a stretch... She doesn't have to know that I have a death note...

He decided to play it natural. He walked to the side of the entrance of the girl's bathroom, "Koi? Are you ok? I heard some soft screaming."

 

Koian heard teh voice of Just then she walked to the door red hot mad. "Pervert!" She screamed kicking his face knocking him back a bit or more. She stomped off when she heard the bell ring. She smiled and knew she had enough time for anything. Ill go see if i could find any books on what i saw.. Koian walked down the hall with her bag. When she got to the Libary she returned her book she was done with and went ahead with checking out Volume 2. Going over to the computer she searched it on teh school computer. When no results were found on 'Beast Spirts' and 'Air Monkeys'. Koian searched up 'Old Japan Legends' , she found a bit on that. She toke the number and walked down to where it would be. Taking the book she sat down and began to read it. She found many interesting storys and folk lore in it. Many were about Dragon, Warriors, and the Koi Fish as spirts of the moon and sun. When she was about done with the book, Koian found a interesting chapter. The Death God? Hmmmmm.... She read on and learned that the Shinigami were the gods or creatures that descide when people die and how. The book fasinated her very much. Gettign tired of beign in the libary, she checked it out and walked to her dorm room.

Just landed flat on his behind, "Ow! What was that for!? I was just-" he looked up and realized that she left.

Considering her irrational behavior, she must have seen Ryuk. Just chuckled to himself, Have I got a plan for her...

Just went through the rest of the day contemplating on the the details of his intricate scheme to turn the situation to his favor. He had it just about nailed.

Later that night, after writing more names in the notebook causing many more to die over the course of the next week, he spoke with Ryuk. "I have a deal that you may want to take up, Ryuk." Ryuk turned to Just and stopped eating his apple, "What?"

Just stood up from his bed, made sure his door was securely closed and locked and turned back to Ryuk. "That girl Koi saw you today." he said, "So I need to take some steps to make sure my righteous deed is done. To ensure that my world is perfected."

Ryuk laughed quietly, "So where do I come in on this?" he asked.

"You are central to this plan." Just said, "I have no doubt that Koi has at least looked up some information on you to try and find out what you are. Whether or not she has discovered that you are a shinigami is not important, because you are going to tell her exactly what you are."

Ryuk looked confused, "What do you want me to do exactly? Have you gone crazy or something? Because that would entertain me more than these magazines you got me." he laughed again at a quiet level.

"You will enter Koi's dorm- she's right down the hall- and tell her that you are a shinigami. You will say that if she discusses your existence with anyone that you will take her soul. You will also say that you will follow her every hour on the hour for 30 minutes."

"Don't you think she'll find that a bit suspicious that I come to follow her right after she touches your notebook? If she's done as much research as you say then she'll catch on."

"I was getting to that. You will say that she has sinned and caused the girl Luna to become depressed and made her cut herself because of her not being a good friend. Gossip is a powerful thing, Ryuk. You will continue to say that she can stop you from following her by doing two things. First thing is telling her to write the name of a sinner on this piece of paper." Just tore a piece of paper from the notebook, making sure both sides were clean and that the tear was perfect. "She'll probably know it's a piece of the death note, and I don't care whether or not anyone dies, just try to convince her that it's supposed to be like a chain letter where the person whose name is written will be followed by you next. Second thing to do is tell her to have you erase her memories. That way she will never see you again, and as far as I know, no one else will know that you exist."

Ryuk laughed, "Not a bad idea, but how do you plan on getting me to do it?"

"I thought of that also." Just said, "Not only will I give you double the amount of apples per day, but I will also show you something better than those magazines." he whispered something in Ryuk's ear.

"What the hell is Rule 34?" Ryuk asked, genuinely confused, "You'll see..." Just said.

Ryuk thought it over. "Ok, sure. This sounds fun." Ryuk said, grinning.

"Good. Go now." Just said.

"Already? Ryuk asked, "Fine he said, floating out.

As Ryuk entered Koi's room, just thought of one problem in his plan. Even if she does lose her memories of seeing Ryuk and touching the notebook, she'll still feel the same way about me. Meaning that if she wanted to stop me from cleansing the world, she still will. Not to mention that she'll still have all of her suspicion from before she touched the notebook...

Ryuk traveled down the hall to the door Just had told him to go to. He saw a girl on her bed, This must be it... he thought. He floated in and interrupted Koi's reading with a deep, dark "Hello."

 

Koi felt a slight chill as she looked up and saw what she saw before. A shinigami? ..... It must be! Koian glared at it then stood up leaving her book on her bed. "What do you want?" She said in a bad mood tone. She looked at it angry.

 

Hmmm, not the reaction I expected.

Ryuk extended his long pointed finger, "You have sinned. Your actions towards Lana and Just were not justified and now I will burden you with my presence until you complete my task."

Hehe... I hope she buys it. I need those apples.

 

Koian started to laugh. "You think you can trick me?" She said knowing she never sinned for anything. Koian smiled and wispered to Ryuk, "You just go run along back to Just and tell him, I know." She said turning back to her bed. "Oh and by the way! Tell him not to worry, i wont tell." She said almost in a cute but naughty way. Koian giggled and toke a random fruit from a bowl she had. She tossed it behind her to Ryuk, it was a Apple. "Go on." She said sitting back on her bed.

 

Ryuk was genuinely shocked. Just was right, this crazy chick did do her homework.

Ryuk devoured his apple and laughed, "Well you certainly know a thing or two now don't you? Well fine, I'll tell Just you know. I like to watch him squirm. That alone is better than any amount of apples."

He took a few more apples and headed out. Hehehe... Well Just, you're in for s surprise.

Ryuk returned to Just's room, "How'd it go?"

Ryuk laughed, "Not as you would expect."

Just looked up at him, "What did you do?" he demanded.

"She knows." those two words sent chills down Just's spine. Just had to use all of his self-control to ensure that he didn't yell, "Damn it! You gave up that easily? You didn't even try to trick her?"

Ryuk looked down, "She tempted me with apples... so many apples!"

Just glared at him intensely for a while.

Ryuk laughed, "It's fine. She promised that she wouldn't tell. Plus if she gets too dangerous you know her real name, right?"

"Well that's true. I should talk to her tomorrow about it. Hell she could even be useful if I plan it correctly."

Just got into his bead and looked up at the ceiling, "She will assist me in my conquest for a perfect world. Why else wouldn't she tell anyone?"

Just sat up, "If not, and I find her to be a threat, then she'll perish."

 

Koian smiled and saw a peice of paper the Shinigami droped. Whats this? She picked it up and shrugged. Putting it in her book that has the shinigami in it, she laid down and fell asleep on her bed.

The next morning she got up and got dressed. Grabing her bag she headed out the door to the cafeteria. She wondered around for a moment then went and bought a nice breakfest from a Cafe. Sitting down in a seat she started to eat a bit.

 

Just went to sleep fairly quickly that night, confident he had gained ally, or overcame an obstacle. The following morning, he quickly turned to the news and read over the newspaper and had more criminals die. At this point, a few criminals would die a day. He got dressed and headed down to the cafeteria.

Once he arrived, he saw Koi quickly and walked over to where she was. "Hey," he said, "we have to talk."

 

Koian looks up at Just and replys, "Where? If you havent noticed there are alot of students around here." There were a bit more students in the Cafeteria than yesterday.

 

"Yea, I know." Just replied, looking around, there were quite a few more people in the cafeteria than usual. "We obviously can't talk here. Meet me at my room after classes are over. We'll discuss it there."
