L's Academy: Change the WorLd

"Ohhhhhh...'' She said looking out the window. Koian was thinking deeply to herself.

 

Just pressed his ear against the wall. He could faintly hear Diary talking. Ok, the shinigami is still in her room...

Just wrote another note. Diary has a shinigami following her, so she also has a death note. I don't know if she also aspires to be a Kira-like figure or if she just wants to expose me. But it's because of this shinigami that I sent Ryuk away to the room on the floor beneath this one, across the hall and three door to the left. If the other shinigami saw Ryuk in here he would have enough evidence to prove to Diary that I am responsible for the recent Kira actions, and she would continue to try and expose me. Hold onto this note until you have the chance to burn it.

He handed the note to Koi calmly, without saying anything.

 

Koian toke it quietly and read it. She put it away into her pocket and nodded. "I guess i should be going. Its gettign late." She said standing up and going to the door. Koian walked out and went to her dorm. After changing into better clothing she went to bed and fell asleep.

 

"Alright, good night." said Just as Koi left.

Just made sure the door was locked. He took out his laptop and inserted the disc. There was a large text document called "S.txt" and it was fairly big. He opened it and found a large amount of information. Well let's see... only a first name. Figures, L probably keeps the last names of the students somewhere more well hidden than his PC... But I could still have use for this... Marcus. He continued to look through the file and found out a lot of information about Snake's history and home. He also learned how the original Kira had killed Snake's father. Well that would certainly cause him to hold a grudge against me. I should keep that little detail in the back of my head.

After reading it over, Just decided to go to bed. He got to sleep quickly since reading the huge text document exhausted him.

Meanwhile, Ryuk sat in the unoccupied dorm room, bored out of his mind. Jeez. This kid better get me some damn good apples for this. All the while he read over Just's note once more. But then he noticed something. There's something on the back... He read the rest of the note.

Below, I'll specify a location outside the school where I will leave you instructions if necessary. Check there once a day at midnight for a note.

Ryuk read the directions to the location. Hehe, not bad Just. Not bad.

 

Koian woke up the next morning. She yawned and streched to wake herself up more. She got dressed and brushed her teeth, fixed her hair. When done she walke dout her dorm, locking it. Koian walked down to the cafe. Where she sat down waitign for Just.

 

Just woke up and got ready to head down to the cafeteria. Once there, he met Koi and sat down to talk.

"Hey, the music you downloaded for me was great. It was more than I expected. So now I think we can start our project."

 

"Ok cool." Koian said to Just as she toke out her note pad. She wrote down a few words. Track Tryouts Today! After class. Koian put the pad and pen into her bag with the note.

 

"Alright, so I'll see you after class and we'll discuss it." he said as he left for orchestra. And the Perfect World begins to form...

 

Koian got up and left for band. Through out the day just like before all the classes were normal. Nothign much really happened. After her last class, Calculus, Koian headed to her dorm and changed into her gym outfit. She grabed a sweat towel and walked down to the track for tryouts. When she got there, a few girls were sittign on a bench. Koian sat down and waited for name to be called to run and see what time she gets to make the team. Finally the coach called her name and she got in her postion for her 100M run. When she heard "Go!". Her instincts toke over and she ran like the wind to the finish line. She ran though it and stoped. She stoped to breath for a second then the coach shouted out her time, "9.250!" Koian was overjoyed to know she made the team. Koian wiped the sweat off with her towel. When she got to her dorm, she changed clothing and put dioterent on. Then she headed out the door for Just's dorm. When she got there she knocked on the door and waited.

9.250 on the 100M? Wow, she's fast. xD

IC:

Just finished the school day with nothing exciting happening. After class he headed to his dorm and wrote a few names while pretending to do calculus work while waiting for Koi.

 

Koian waited at his door. She knocked again and waited.

 

"As boring as it may seem, at the moment there's really nothing to do aside from keep an eye on the suspect." she spoke. "Although, I'd be grateful if you could look around for that other Shinigami... Would you be willing to do that?"

 

OoC:

Let's just say that Just, Koi. and Destiny are all still on the same day, because it's getting confusing now. xD

IC:

Just got the note and the pages from the notebook he had prepared and got the door. "Hey." he said as he handed Koi the note.

The blank piece of paper that I handed you with this note is a few pieces of the notebook. They should last for a few weeks. I'm going to take care of criminals in Western Hemisphere while you take care of criminals in the Eastern Hemisphere. Check the local news media obviously, including the news stations, newspapers and the internet, daily and make sure that they all have a somewhat different death. Only use heart attack as a cause of death occasionally. Do the same with this note as you did with the others.

 

Koian nodded and put it in her pocket and put the paper into her journal. She sat down in a chair and smiled and asked, "So.. What know?"

 

Just sat and smiled, "Maybe we could talk a little. Did you see the Dark Knight?" I hope she goes along with this. After all, it would appear strange for some girl to just pop in my room, take a note and leave without saying more than two sentences...

 

OOC: Hey, I couldn't say this earlier, I was at my friend's place. Sorry I couldn't get on last night, the phone and DSL lines were down from around five yesterday to nine A.M. today.

Still waiting for Paladin xP. Not that I can really say anything.

 

OoC: Sorry about that. I was going to reply earlier but I had to go to school beforehand. BTW, Snake's plot was inspired by Just's paranoia! XD

IC: Siddoh nodded, accepting Diary's request. Seizing his chocolaty treats from Diary's hand, he left to search the school.

Meanwhile, another was conducting his own search. It had been a day since Snake last saw Just, but that didn't mean he had been idle. Snake had noticed how close Koi and Just had been getting, a friendship that had seemingly sprung up overnight. Snake also noticed that the two met in Just's room a lot. Snake was determined to find out what they were doing.

Snake had been spending his free time in his room with his PSP. However, games didn't even cross his mind during that time. He had been working on his little black gadget for quite some time. Snake partially dismantled the DS that had been in his bag, removing the microphone system and implanting it into his PSP. With a lot of work, Snake found that he could record sound using the microphones and store them on the PSP's hard drive. When Snake was sure that Just wasn't in his room, he had hidden the PSP under Just's bed and set it to record.

Snake noticed that Koi had entered Just's room again. He was itching to know what they were talking about.

Siddoh phased through the door of Diary's room, entering the corridor. Instantly, he spotted Snake standing outside.

Hmmmmm, Siddoh thought, reading the name, Marcus McKeller? I wonder what he's up to. Is he the one with the other notebook? Maybe I should check with Diary, just to be safe.

Siddoh stuck his head through Diary's door, "Diary, there's a boy in the corridor looking suspicious. Should I check it out?"

 

"You mean right outside? Let me deal with it." she said.

She opened the door of her dorm and stepped outside to see the person she knew as "Snake" standing in the hallway.
"Oh, hello Snake." she said somewhat quietly. She quickly wrote a note on a Ninendo DS that she seemed to have been keeping in her sweatshirt pocket using the Pictochat program, and passed it to him.

There's something I wanted to tell you about Just, would you mind coming in for a few?, it read.

OOC: lulz, taking your DS to school is fun.

 

OoC: So you take your DS to school? I hope you don't play games that use the microphone, lolz :p

IC:Snake jumped as Diary opened her door and spoke to him. How had she know that he was outside. Was she psychic or something? Diary approached him and passed him her DS. Curious, Snake looked at the DS screen.

There's something I wanted to tell you about Just, would you mind coming in for a few?, it read.

Is she suspicious of Just as well? Snake wondered. He gave an obvious nod and the two entered Diary's room.

Siddoh eyed Snake curiously. He wasn't sure just whose side he was on.

Meanwhile, a fair distance across the school, Light Yagami stared at the TV with dread. Over fifty wanted criminals had died of heart attacks in the past few days.

No... Kira back? It can't be...

OoC: Heh, now that I suggested Snake dying, I can't get the thought out of my head :P. I think that with Snake and Diary working together to catch Just, then I get the feeling that Snake will eventually reveal his name to Diary.

 

OOC: Then she'd know four and a half names =D
lol, Light, Koian, Jacob, Marcus, and she only knows Mello's first name, Mihael.

About the DS, in The World Ends with You, which is the game I bring the most, there are some moves that I use where you have to yell into the mic, but blowing into the mic works fine. xP The teacher never notices, and the majority of the other students won't tell if they notice.

IC: After both Diary and Snake were in the room, Diary made sure the door was closed securely without locking it.
"I happened to notice you liked video games. If you have your DS on you, we could use that and there wouldn't be any worry about Just overhearing us," she spoke, again quietly. "If you don't have your DS, then it'd probably be okay to talk at this level; he might be able to hear us speaking, but chances are he won't be able to make out what we're saying." As she said this she was thinking of other backup plans, and the solution to every "what if" she could. The last thing that they needed was for the suspected Kira to know about this.
