L's Academy: Change the WorLd

So, this is...L? Dein thought raising an eyebrow at whom was apparently L, and then taking a step away from the girl beside him as he realised how intensly she was gazing at this man.

 

Flare blinked and looked away from L. She was self conscious, and felt that she didn't have the right to be greeted by him. Before he could greet her, she took a step back.

 

morgan looked at his watch and realised that he was extremly late for the introduction ceremony.
he looked at his watch, then where he had hid the note, then the door, and finally got up and walked out the door and snuck towards the back of the group

 

ooc I'm so very sorry that I haven't been here when I was needed most. Damn grounding. I feel bad...*shoots self*


L looked at the students as they entered and saw how some of them had backing up. Did I forget to brush my teeth? He thought to himself before looking to Light. "I am on the couch because I find it better then the chair. It's more comfortble in my thoughts... Is it really that bad to make myself comforable?" He asked.


So this is L....seems a bit childish. Jensis thought to herself as she looked around the room.


Near had been in a random room with a couch, table and a chair. He had sat on the floor like normal and just put together one of his white puzzles

OoC: Oh don't worry, you've got at least a day until the death that Light/Repliku wrote in his Kh-vids.DeathNote takes effect. Have fun! :D

IC: Light contained a smile. L had that effect on people when they met him.

"You knew that today there were going to be new students here," Light said, "They might have believed that you're the principal a little more if you'd been at the desk."

Then again, probably not. As usual, personal hygiene seemed to have slipped L's mind. Plus, they might not have taken L seriously had they seen the weird way he sits...

The moment Snake saw L he was struck with a feeling of disappointment. If L was such a good detective, couldn't he have traced where the soap had last been? Was a shower and a change of clothes in the 'missing persons' folder? This man looked like someone that they'd pulled off the street.

But why would they try to fool us into believing that this is the real principal? Snake wondered, Unless... unless this is a test! They might be testing us to see if we can figure out that this is a fake. If we were normal, trusting kids we'd probably believe him.

Little did Snake know that Light was thinking similar thoughts. If these kids are smart enough, they should be suspecting that L isn't really the principal. If I'm right, they're suspecting a little test, just to see if they belong here, Light thought. He gave L a little nod. It was indeed a test. The kids would have to deduce that L really was the principal by the time that the meeting was over.

OoC: A little brain teaster for you there. I think the key to writing smart characters is to put a long time into thinking of a solution to a problem and them shortening the time that the character takes to solve that problem.

 

Morgan reached the meeting just in time
he brushed off his sholder and began acting like he had been there the entire time

 

ooc yeah but it's best to look at it from all ways

"I find rather annoying that people have to do their best to impress others. If they do not like me for who I am then that's fine but I am not going to act how they want to see me."

...this couldn't be a test...Well it could. A test to see if we are able to appect him...Or he isn't L. But if he isn't then this would be pointless. A test like this may just be nothing more to see how trustworthy or how much we are able to judge by appearances...I believe it's the ladder one of those. Murders could be little kids so why can't L be...this?

 

"tchh so this guy really is the principal..its sad hes so...so...annoying i guess"
morgan muttered to himself

 

"Sure, that's fine Ryuzaki," Light conceded, "But don't you think you could tone it down just a little? I don't think they'd take you seriously if you dumped everything on them." I hope he doesn't go and eat a whole sweet factory like he usually does.

This Ryuzaki guy may be wierd, Snake thought, but that can't rule him out. If the vice principal's a teenager and they have a chain-smoker and an insane chocolate-fetish guy here, then why can't the principal be as weird as this? Unless they were just a test as well! Grrrhh, this is doing my head in. But if this was a test, then why would they get such a blatantly obvious replacement? He's just too wierd, normal kids would suspect him to be a fake in a second. Red herrings everywhere. This is more confusing than the plot of Metal Gear Solid 4...

 

He shrugged innocently. "I thought I looked very serious." He said and opened the box with strawberries

 

Looked like a crack addict, more like, Light thought. The bags under L's eyes were very disconcerting to an observer. He was probably an insomniac. You would wonder if he ever closed his eyes at all.

"So, Ryuzaki, are you going to tell the new students about our fine establishment?" Light prompted.

So he's going to impress us with knowledge of the school? Snake thought, I'll be quick and ask him a question only the principal could know...

 

"this is so a waste of time" Morgan thought as he turned back towards his room
"i just found a new toy that seems much more worth it" he thought happily

 

"What is there to know really? Everything should of already of been explianed. However, if they have any questions feel free to ask away."

 

Morgan reached his room and reached into some of his luggage and pulled out several year books from previous schools and began to look through them. He left them all open and walked over and grabbed his hidden note and oppened it and began writing numerous names into it, as memories of girls who had left him for "better offers" or had just used him to get to somebody else.
After several minutes morgan sighed and looked at all the names he had written, all those girls and all those guys they had left him for. Morgan began to laugh and laugh as he threw the death note at his door and let it sit there for a few minutes before getting up and throwing it into his luggage along with his year books.

 

"Yeah, I have a question sir." Lana said casually, smiling slightly. Throughly convinced that L was in the the L that they knew. All the peices of the puzzle fitted together, he was just not what society would of deemed acceptable for the 'Greatest Dective in The World'. "Can I have a strawberry?" She asked, grinning cheekily.

"Oi, Near." Mello called as he walked into the room, he'd finally found the irratating, big-headed twit that the world knew as Near.

 

"Sure." He smiled his cat like smile and held out the box for her to take one


He looked up to see Mello. What now...?

 

"Thank-you sir." Lana smiled, nodding graciously as she stepped forwards to take one. Having to push through the thicket of students a little so she could reach.

"You still playing with that puzzle? Ain't you got bored of it yet?" He asked, unable to think of anything else intelligent to have a go at him for. At least it was a starting point. He causually threw himself onto the sofa with his chocolate bar hanging from the corner of his mouth. Snapping it loudly as he broke a piece off with his teeth.

 

He waited for her to get one before putting it on his knee and taking one himself

"It's something to do."

 

"Thanks." Lana repeated before heading back towards the swarm of other students. All of whom were either deep in suspicious thought or looking at her like she was as bigger freak as L himself was percived to be. So what if it seemed a little strange, it had been a perfectly good attempt to make friends.

"You've had it longer then I can remember. Doesn't it get dull?" Mello sneered, gently licking the chocolate bar. Staring maliciously at the younger man with eyes that were as icy and dead as the Titanic wreckage.

 

He bite the strawberry as he obsvered their expressions. "No other questions?"


He put the piece in his hand down. "It always been dull."
