If the purpose was to see if anyone would ask who it was, then you cut yourself short by adding 'I won't say who' at the end of the initial statement.

daaaaaaang that was a fast response even now as I type this short post the post just keep on coming...

anyways, no idea about why didn't vote, I guess due to the thought of "oh I can vote tomorrow if anything" though I might as well vote now~ I mean I said I thought Calxiyn is suspicious to me so me voting now is the same thing as me voting tomorrow since its easy to unvote.

    Vote: Calxiyn

As for the discussion on Hyuge the way she called out other to speak has led me to believe that she was trying merely gain more info on others. True it can be a bit suspicious as she could be trying to increase the disguise of being a mafia member, though it might be just paranoia. For now I guess to keep an eye out on her but at present I do not think she is mafia (though there is still some suspicion...).

With 14 players alive, it takes 8 to lynch and 5 to soft-lynch. Deadline is Friday, September 12th, at 5 ᴘ.ᴍ. (EST).

Please don't play recklessly for no reason. You're in this game, that means you made a commitment and it should be a priority. If you or anyone else can no longer play to the best of their ability, they need to let me know, not half-ass it or afk. There are replacements waiting in the wings for just this reason.

I don't know why, but this statement makes me simultaneously reassured and at the same time, frightened. XD Not that this statement contributes. Just saying. XD

Not saying you're wrong. But nice way to slip in that you shouldn't be the focus of investigation.

Makaze, I'm sorry, but this simply isn't true. I myself didn't think the Fuk? was Mafia, and I was the one who spearheaded his lynch, saying the whole time that I didn't think he was but with absolutely nothing else to go on, his having done more suspicious things left him in the hot seat. I tried desperately to get more people to talk so we could at least look for other suspects, but that frustrating day led to me lynching a member I did not believe to be guilty. And I feel bad about it, but it had to be done. If not being sold on his case is a mark against someone's township, I also would be suspicious.

On that note, I don't think hyuge is Mafia. In fact, the only thing that I truly find suspicious about hyuge is that Mish, Calxiyn and Vivi all have listed her as 'probs town,' and even that is biased as I find both Calxiyn and Vivi to be suspicious, and Mish is confirmed. However, I believe that hyuge has posted enough times and with clear enough content that to be counted in a list of 'probs town' is viable. Whether or not it is true remains to be seen, but it is at least viable.

However, this brings me to another thing I find very suspicious.

Mish, Calxiyn and Vivi all listed Cstar as 'probs town.' I get why they'd list me. I get that they could list hyuge. But Cstar? Not to say that Cstar is Mafia, but... exactly why is she town? By her own admission she rarely posts, and her posts are guarded out of fear of screwing something up... So why did all three of these people list her as someone that they feel strongly to be town? They also provided reasons for me, and I think they provided reasons for hyuge, but with Cstar, they all just sort of stuck her in without adding reasons. This really doesn't sit right with me.

However, after typing all this up, I realize that this also makes hyuge more suspicious, as she, in her posts, says that she thought Calxiyn wasn't suspicious until today's events make her "wary" of her, has thought Vivi to be town for quite awhile, and says she doesn't think Cstar is Mafia, more scared townie.

Again, I can understand not being suspicious of Cstar's being a Mafia... But why are they town?

This is one confirmed Mafia and three others of varying suspicions who all agree without reason that Cstar should be trusted, once they eventually post stuff. Someone please, just try and explain this to me. I dare you.

Sidenote: Call me a newb, but what does afk stand for?

Thank you. XD[DOUBLEPOST=1410413335][/DOUBLEPOST]Rgh no one's online. I am so itching to play this game and I'm stuck staring at the "Users Viewing Thread" box waiting for it to list a name other than mine.

Please excuse the gif. I'm just that bored.

As promised, I shall now re-read the entire thread in light of the new evidence presented today. Let's see what I can glean.

If you think I'm playing recklessly for no reason and or not taking this seriously then kick me out. I have my own priorities in real life and whatnot, and these supersede any sort of forum game. Things can come up without warning with no hint/clue of how long they will last. Also there is no need to make assumptions, someone makes a half ass'd response and all you have to do in ponder why. It seems that most players like to auto lock this to some form of red flag that the person is mafia, and you seem to think its because I don't care / have no reason.

As for the whole best of your ability thing, what if a player happens to suck at this game, do you kick them out? No, so if my posts match their (strictly hypothetical here) quality why does the reasoning matter? It doesn't. I mean sure if someone throws the game that should be taken care of, but nothing I did was strictly speaking "wrong". Makaze and some of the others don't agree with my choice to vote for Ben, but if you didn't want someone to lock in the last vote why let it get that big in the first place? Nobody likes the big picture it seems.

Things appear to be coming very close to getting heated.

Princess, I understand if you're feeling attacked. I don't think anyone is intending to do so. I think what Nova was saying was you're right, this is just a forum game, but it is one that naturally requires a lot of attention. And we understand if you, knowing this is just a forum game, don't feel like you can or even want to try quite as hard as, for example, someone like me who lives a very boring life and ends up shirking my boring responsibilities because I have a game to play. He was not saying that if you don't try harder he will kick you out. He was saying that this is a very time-consuming game, and he was giving you an opt-out option if you felt you couldn't or shouldn't commit to it. Because you are right. This is just a game. If you don't think the game is worth the time it takes, he's got an option for you, that you can take or leave if you wish.

I think that the only reason he brought it up is because whenever you are brought into question, your response is to say that you simply don't care enough to try very hard. Again, I understand why; as this is not important and it is merely a game. But you have said things like this enough times that I think Nova just wanted to remind you that if you don't want to play anymore, you can step down. He's not asking you to step down, but presenting it as an option, just in case.

At least, I think that's what's going on. XD I'm blonde enough I could be missing everything. XD But at the very least, I don't think anyone's intending to make you feel attacked. :)

I do not recall anyone saying they strongly believe I am town, most people say they get a townie vibe from me. You keep asking the question "why are they town" but you also keep saying "I can understand not being suspicious of Cstar's being a mafia" so what are you asking here? Are you trying to say I'm a third party? There aren't any left.

I don't know why people haven't found me suspicious yet. I would have expected more of your reaction from people, but people have put me on their town lists. I have also wanted more of a reason but I wondered if it was odd to go up and poke people saying, "Can you give me more of a reason why you think I'm a townie? Can you give me reason why you think I'm not mafia?"

I think people just want to address my existence really.

This is going tobe my last post until i get back from school. I'm on my phone so apologies.

Why isn't Cstar town? Well, the way I see it if they're not mafia they're town right? Not the BEST way of thinking per say, but it's what makes sense to me. What little Cstar has done I don't think is suspicious unless they're the hanging around in the shadows mafioso that everyone has talked about.

I think that it's the 'if they're not mafia they're town' logic being presented there.

    #Unvote: Hyuge
    #Vote: Moksha

Where do you stand in all this Mok? Am I the suspicious mafia that the current bandwagon is suggesting? Do you think there's someone more suspicious than me? In fact, can you give a list of people you consider suspect?

Well it looks like it's good game well played for me. The wagon is rolling so I may as well do what I can for the town before it goes down. I have no defence but my previous day actions and I'd like to cite something Maru said. It was something along the lines of "People who post a lot are bound to say something suspicious at some point". This is that situation there. You're lynching on one screw up with no backing history as far as I can tell and I have explained adequately why each has happened. I don't believe it's in the town's best interest to kill me of all people. Interestingly, two of today's suspects just voted for me. I don't know what everyone makes of that, but I'm willing to bet my life that either Hyuge or TwilightBlader are mafia, but I think it's got to be Twilight. I've defended Hyuge in the past, and gone back on them a couple, of times but because of the reasons I defended them, I'm inclined to have a little more faith.

I don't suspect you because you're inactive anymore Twilight, but I think so because you've decided to vote for me which while is not by itself bad, you've dodged giving any ideas other than the two candidates presented here today. You're either doing bare minimum or killing off a Town member and scraping under everyone else's radar whilst you're doing it. Disprove my point please Twilight and quickly- we're running out of day. If I wasn't trying to push Moksha then I'd vote for you, and I may actually change it if you don't answer me here.

Oh and Maru, why haven't you voted for me? You had ample opportunity and I find it odd that you didn’t vote for me, considering you were the one who raised my suspicion? Am I not the person we should be voting? Do you consider me to be not suspect enough to lynch? Are there others you’d rather see lynched? And what do you think about two of the two suspects of the day out of three (myself) voting against me? Does that rub you the wrong way like it does for me, or so that just a suspicion only I hold?

Let me put this in perspective for you. You lynch me today then Mafia lose Mish 1/5 mafia to the vig. However, if you lynch either Moksha or Twilight, then you have a chance of making that 2/5 and by lynching me, the Town is crippled as they've lost an active poster in lieu of one of a few inactive, not as helpful to the town players. The information you'll get,out of me is minimal, because everything I have is on the table right now. At this juncture, why lose a reliable player when you could lose a liability?Ive explained why I've turned on Twilight and I've put the vote on Mok because we need to coax him out a little. This current path will only cripple us. I happen to rather like this game and I don't really want to die, but beyond that, the reasons to keep me alive are far greater thane the reasons to kill me. Weigh that up. My way has a reasonable chance of netting you 40% of the mafia. Bear the points I've made in mind. My vote will change to Twilight later today if Moksha fails to post, and I'd hope to have you guys behind me. Look at the people who've voted. Don't waste our lynch.

Golly 40 pages is a lot to go through. And likewise, 40 pages worth of thought is hard to remember. I tried to make notes as I went, and I actually intend to use the multi-quote thing, so that's new. But I will still try to keep things concise because it's three in the morning, my eyes are tired, and since I've been shirking responsibilities all week, I have some major catch-up to do with stuff in the morning. However, I want to start off by talking about Vivi.

You all know how I feel; Vivi seems very suspicious and I could never quite put my finger on why. Well, here's a part of it:
Talking about default. I began questioning his loyalty to the town, saying that he didn't seem to feel like lynching a Mafia was something to be celebrated. Then Vivi says that he would only feel that way if he were the reporter. Later, we find out that he is, but that's not my point here. default could feel that a dead mafiosa was NOT cause for a celebration if he was the reporter, or mafia. But Vivi clearly says here that he would be the reporter if he felt so. Not the Mafia. Suggesting that Vivi knew he was not Mafia.

Vivi has also repeatedly insisted that we start killing off the quiet ones. In fact, in all but maybe nine or ten of his posts, he has said that the quiet ones are the most suspicious, he believes Mafiosa are hiding in the quiet group, we should focus more on investigating the quiet ones. More specifically, he mentions Bite the Dust over and over, as well as Cat and Hayabusa. And while I'm unsure of Cat, I am more likely to believe that Bite the Dust and Hayabusa are town.

On top of this, Vivi is correct in saying that they've wanted Princess dead since day one. Over and over, I have seen Vivi try to come up with more reasons why Princess is suspicious for this reason, Princess is suspicious for that reason. I think that Vivi knows Princess to be town, and on top of that, town with great potential, and is trying to get us to lynch him. The following quote from Vivi is in response to Makaze's questions regarding why Vivi still insists Princess is scum:

First off, I'd like to point out that Princess is the one who first reasoned that Beau's quitting was indicative of townlike behavior, and cautioned that to wait and not lynch him would not only keep us from a likely mislynch, but could provide us with more information later. And he was absolutely right. We have gained more through sparing Beau than we ever could have thought at the time. And everyone else was ready to policy lynch the empty spot. You say here that if he were Mafia, it would mean killing two townies, except Beau was replaced so it was only one? What!? (I added the exclamation point to differentiate between name and interjection. I am not calling What?. XD)

Princess's reasoning saved a townie spot. If he were Mafia, he would have let him die. Your trying to use this to paint him as Mafia serves only to hurt your own case.

So now solely moving on to Princess. I don't think he's Mafia. In fact, I am now certain that he is town. He might not be the kind of town as me or Makaze or on the other end of the spectrum, Bite the Dust or TwilightBlader. But I believe he's town. And furthermore, I believe that Princess has helped townies in his own way. He's certainly done more helping than some, maybe even more helping than most. And I think those that come against him are revealing themselves unwittingly.

Now I want to address the whole thing about Cstar I said earlier. This was my mistake, and I realized it pretty early during my read-through. I did not realize that Cstar was Kahl-duram. Or however you spell it. Knowing this, everything made much more sense. In fact, I've felt that Cstar was town for almost the whole game, I just didn't know it was Cstar I was thinking about. XD I also admit that I made another mistake; and that was saying that Calxiyn listed Cstar as town. This is not the case, in fact, Calxiyn said quite a few times during this day-phase that she finds Cstar suspicious.

@cstar , in regards to your question posed to me about what I meant by the whole 'not mafia/why town' deal, what I was trying to say was you were not giving off Mafia vibes, but you likewise weren't coming across as town, and were kind of just there. Which, I know now to be wrong. The reason most people don't suspect you is because you genuinely seem to be town. So far you have been level-headed, you have contributed logically, and you have been puzzling over things in an effort to figure stuff out. On top of this, you have not been overly aggressive or defensive, when something doesn't seem right to you, you ask questions, but you don't attack, and you don't seem given to tunnel vision or bias. As for feeling like you cost us the last game, you were not to blame there. Due to the circumstances of the time, with three votes leading to a hard-lynch and two live Mafiosa, especially Mafiosa who presented some pretty compelling arguments, no one could have blamed you for voting. That was some pretty good trickery on their part, not any sort of reflection on your own sleuthing ability, which I feel has been shown so far in this thread.

It's now four o'clock. I had also intended to go into hyuge a bit, so let's see if I can...

I had at first thought hyuge to be town, but upon further reflection, think they could possibly be very smart Mafiosa. This is not to say they are, but they could be. I don't want to tl;dr, so I'll cite one of their most stand-outish things for now and then move on. After I brought up the fact that default had hinted to his status as a reporter and I wished he had made more of a defense for himself; bolded the item in question:
The bolded statement is just not true. In fact, hyuge was voter number seven, voting in this post directly before default's hinting statement. If hyuge knew that he was the reporter, it's one thing to not be able to fight the lynch. It's another to help secure it. And it's still another thing to lie about it later. This is just one more thing among the many others that have been presented already that makes hyuge read as a possible Mafiosa.

On to Calxiyn. Calxiyn, you ask me why I haven't voted. The answer to that is as follows:
    • I was not absolutely certain you are Mafia
    • The deadline is not until Friday
    • Whether you are town or Mafia, waiting before we lynch would give me plenty of time to let you react to the pressure, gauge the reactions of those around you, and further investigate the people who defend you and the people who join the attack
    • Based on the above, I could utilize the gathered info to determine then whether or not you are Mafia.
I must say, I am finding myself rather confused by your reaction. On the one hand, you are acting from a place of fear, and it seems to be genuine fear. You do not want to die, and you seem to be doing anything you can to keep from being killed. You are trying to prove to Makaze how far you will go for the town, and so vote hyuge, but shift to vote Moksha within several hours to try and get him to talk, while promising to shift to vote TB later on. You provide a genuine concern regarding TB, only to interrupt yourself with an appeal to me to let you live, providing only as any real defense a stating of statistics that, really, can not yet be proven and must just be accepted under the assumption that you're telling the truth as town.

This all could very well read as you being a frightened townie facing death.

    But then again...

This is why I am baffled, this is why I haven't voted for you yet. I have not voted because I do not want to commit Othello's Error. You could be a Mafiosa caught in a lie and desperately trying to escape death, or you could be a townie caught in a simple misunderstanding and desperately trying to escape death.

If we decide to leave Mish to the Vigilante, then tonight I would want to vote for either Vivi or hyuge, for the reasons presented by myself and others. But your reaction neither alleviates my suspicions nor confirms them, and for now I must wait and see if anyone else has anything to say, and what other evidence might come to light.

Be careful not to jump the gun, Calxiyn. You have three votes and some rather heavy questioning, and I'm sorry about that, but the wagon is not quite rolling yet. If you keep your head, you may yet get out of it.

For now, it will be five o'clock in around ten minutes. I have spent all night playing this game. XD I shall try my hardest to keep away in the morning until I get done some very important things, so I shan't be available for further questioning until at least the afternoon if not later. Good luck everyone, and at the risk of sounding vain, please try to avoid any hard lynches until I return. XD

I don't really have time to talk, so I will post more this afternoon when I am between shifts, but I just really wanted to reply to this before any more speculation could be made off of that post. What I meant when I said, "I hadn't been back to the thread until after he was lynched," was simply that; not a lie. I hadn't been back on the thread after I posted, until Ben had said something along the lines of "I guess that's it for me," or something in one of the chats. I went to check the thread, saw that he had been hammered, and that Nova had already posted his role and ended the day. I didn't know Ben was going to post immediately after me giving hint to his role. I had already closed out of the thread at that point in time and gone back to work.

That's it. I just wanted to clear that up before there was further confusion. As for everything else that has been said so far, I will elaborate at a later time, as stated in the beginning of my post.[DOUBLEPOST=1410438464][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I did have a strong feeling he might have been the Reporter. For me, it was between him and Makaze for the reporter position. When we learned that he was the Reporter, I was certain Mak had a different role, just hadn't quite figured out it if it was a town aligned role or if he was mafia.

Hyuge, I expressed some concerns about TwilightBlader, and I'd like to know what you think of them? Actually, that call goes out to everyone? What do we all make of TwilightBlader?

Maru you have an interesting theory about Vivi. When you put it down it does look rather odd, especially the seeming single mindedness of the lynching that you're observing here. I would suggest that there is nothing inherently bad about suggesting killng quiet players, but there may be a case with the rest in combination with that. Also, thanks for finding the extra stuff about princess. KHV's search function wasn't being great for me and I didn't have the time (That big post of mine already took the better part of an hour) so I couldn't manually trawl through the thread, but that stuff with Princess does make me more inclined to believe that finalising on the lynch was a mistake more than suspicious activity.

"I also admit that I made another mistake; and that was saying that Calxiyn listed Cstar as town. This is not the case, in fact, Calxiyn said quite a few times during this day-phase that she finds Cstar suspicious."

Also please Maru try to be careful my position is tenuous enough as it is, and I don't need to be hammered for a misquote.

"providing only as any real defense a stating of statistics that, really, can not yet be proven and must just be accepted under the assumption that you're telling the truth as town."

If I have something else to defend myself with please tell me, because I have no idea what that is. I've put all my cards on the table and to explain what I'm doing...

I'm working off the assumption that I die today, that my defense goes unheard and I get lynched (I expect with a push along from the Mafia). So, I figure I may as well die as I mean to go on in the thread should I survive- Being proactive in getting thoughts and theories out there, and trying to force information out of people. At this juncture, I can only play to win because I'm pretty much on the back foot here. If I live through today, I could be lynched tomorrow. If I get the wrong person lynched, or people still think I'm shady then I'm probably done for unless someone pulls magical evidence out of their hats. With all that in mind, I've got to do all I can in the irl days available to me and if that means being a little inconsistent and moving quickly, then so be it because time is short and my window for posting limited.

I'm on my phone so I can't really make in-depth posts right now, just so that it's clear I'm reading.

Maru sorry if I wasn't clear, bit sleep drunk last night, what I meant with beau was that it would have benefited mafia if he was mod killed because he left, as mafia would know he was town anyway, so they would try to push a vote for someone else that day as it would mean if beau was mod killed and not replaced then by lynching someone else that day, they get rid of two spots. There was discussion of that happening that's why I mentioned it. As for default that really was just a lucky guess on his role, the only way I'd know who he was is if I was the tracker and I followed him on the first night, (correct me if that's wrong please, I can't really check the role on my phone with out losing my post) town or mafia there's no way I could know he was the reporter otherwise. It really was just a passing comment I made that turned out to be a good guess

And do I mention btd, cat and hayabusa over and over like you claim? If I do I don't believe it's been with accusations attached, just mentioning the fact they are here really, and when I'm prompted to discuss them, like I said, on my phone. But you really Must give some evidence please whilst saying things line that otherwise it looks like wild accusations to me.[DOUBLEPOST=1410464872][/DOUBLEPOST]And whilst tensions are high I'd rather not have the wrong idea formed about me for false reasons

Your reaction is bizarrely scared. I have managed to come back from a three vote wagon and a soft lynch without much trouble or shoddy self-defense antics.

That's not theorizing. It's scrambling for a scapegoat.

We have reason to believe BtD is town due to Mish's reads.

You are on Moksha only because they have no opinions. They already said they had no opinions. I asked them pointed questions already. They have an alibi for this: they are replacing someone else who had no opinions before them.

Your reasons for suspecting TwilightBlader are the same reasons we suspect you. Only following what others say? Not having opinions of your own? Sounds familiar.

Let me put this in perspective. If we kill anyone who isn't confirmed town, we have a chance of killing a second mafia. If we kill you and we are wrong, we get info from the kill. If we kill Moksha and we are wrong, we get no info from the kill. If killing mafia is worth two points and getting info from a mislynch is worth one point, then let's do the math:

We kill you: Mafia (2) or Mislynch (1) - Minimum 1 point no matter what, plus tangible reason to suspect them
We kill Moksha: Mafia (2) or Mislynch (0) - Minimum 0 points, plus no actual reason to suspect them

You tell me what is the better gamble.

You claim to be getting your theories out there before you die but in actuality all you've done is say that you are more valuable to town than inactive people. You've done exactly what I accused hyuge of doing earlier. The difference is that in your case your ideas are borrowed. You're agreeing with Marushi's ideas about Vivi. My ideas about hyuge. You're saying what I said before about mafia hiding within inactives. You're grasping for any argument that takes the spotlight off of you.

You're currently an active sheep but nothing more. Prove me wrong.[DOUBLEPOST=1410473960][/DOUBLEPOST]p.s. don't invite me in again

    I'm out.

Personally Makaze, I don't think I am able to prove you wrong, because you don't want to be wrong.

You were wrong about the first people you convinced people into lynching, and this is going to end up the same way.

I can't argue your points with you Makaze, because you are never going to agree with me so it's just wasting my breath.

My analysis' were my own thoughts, and I came to the same conclusion as some of the others. I do my own thinking but I can't help but agree with someone when I see there reason, like for example what Marsuhi said about Hyuge, I'm willing to back her up on that because she raises very good points to the table. There isn't a lot of room for new ideas when everyone else gets them out so fast, and in such a large abundance/large posts. I'm trying to build on what others have said in order to come to my own conclusions.

I'm looking for town, looking for people who are confused, changing there votes, and who has logical arguments. The reasons why I change my votes so much is because we have many people that bring up very good points, and combined with my own way of thinking it adds up.

But I'm trusting what I've observed here, and am changing my vote to Twilight until I see anything that stops me from doing so otherwise.

    UnVote: MoK
    Vote: Twilight

(Also, this post is a bit mismatched so sorry about that. Cold Medication seems to be doing that to me lately xD )
