Everyone seems to think that Master Xeahnort is Evil. I don't think he is.He's said stuff like "Those who use darkness are not fit to weild a keyblade" or "Don't make my mistake" as in he gave in once but then got back.We don't even know why the apprentices are after him.People think he's evil because of what happened to ven where he drops him down the cliff but we don't even know whether the apprentices cause is justified by anything.People keep saying that master xeahnorts heart must've been infused with terra's and stuff like that and that is why he uses darkness, why he goes after kingdom hearts, etc. but Master Xeahnort hates Darkness so it couldn't be his heart at the cause of what is happening. It's Terra himself.
I don't think he's evil,i think that his appretice is the evil one. And that Terra is just "the Riku of the game". I mean,he just uses darkness to gain power, but he can control it.
True, he might have done it for some reason. But Terra might not be evil also. Terra might've been clueless about it. Think about it. MX took Ven's heart without even knowing why. Don't you think he would get angry at him?
But why are the apprentices going after him in the first place. They went after him in the secret ending he didn't attack them.I think that Master Xeahnort,Terra and riku are the same in early life except terra get's permanantly taken by the darkness.I think this is the reason that Nomura said that this would be a sadder, darker game.
I doubt that MX is completely evil as well but he is after the minds of princesses right? If not, I think he just has questionable methods is all which could be mistaken for being evil. Besides, as the series goes on kingdom hearts strays further and further away from the notion of "good vs. evil." In kh2 the nobodies weren't evil, they had a goal in which other people would be harmed is all. Cept for Xemnas...I think he might have been evil a little.
It is hard to say. I think he is light, but at the same time, he might be some what bad. I remember seeing a scene where he asks Ven to save his apprentice (the dude with the helmet). I think he might be going after the princesses and all of that because of what happend to him. I think they might be chasing him for a different reason though. I dunno if anyones considered this, but do u think that they might by chance be chasing after him becuz of his apprentice? It mentions Xehonorts apprentice in the hidden video, right? What if the main focus actually has to do with him........ and what if Terra is becoming exsactly what Xehonorts apprentice has become? Is a theory in the works, but I think it might have something to do with the main theme of it.
I've considered that myself.I think the main prantagonist is the Apprentice and Master Xeahnort is being used to throw the enphisis of the apprentice.
Do you think that the roles may have switched, in some crazy plot twist thrown in at the end, and that MX is actually the "protagonist" and the apprentices are the "antagonists"? It does say that Terra has darkness in his heart, and you have stated yourself that MX isn't necessarily considered "evil". Then again, you can't base a good theory on those facts.
i think it was alittle of everyones fault, MX is more or less a guy who is powerful and i think he is the main "villian" but he doesnt weild the darkness, and thats fine because ive had a feeling that SE would put a Villian with the power of light in there to show that darkness and light are just energy forcese and its the people that use them that make it either good or bad as for Terra being "bad" i think we really dont know much about his motives to judge him just yet...thats why ive kept an open mid towards the characters of this game....however i really wish i knew more about the Masked Solider
well, I think he is one of those characters that are the protagonist & antogonist because of what daxma said which is kinda true, but then there is the fact that we have'nt seen him use a keyblade and he said "those who use darkness are not fit to use a keyblade" er, something like that.
Its hard to tell. We need more backround info on master xehonort himself. We see so much on everyone else, but him specificly, we need to learn more. Or better yet, we need to get a better idea of just how these things work exsactly. ya know
That may very well explain Terra's symbol on his belt, it looks like the Heartless symbol... So I'm going to guess that Terra fel to the darkness and Xehanort said that anyone who yields to the darkness is not suited to use the keyblade...Idk maybe :P
his is obvious, but he did get too close to the darkness at one point. He is evil, just not filled with darkness.
I don't agree.I feel that this guy is an actual human unlike all the other characters in KH.He isn't a denizen of darkness or a warrior of light but a researcher and master of the keyblade.
i think Xehanort is going to fullfill the role of the game's "antagonist" but he wont necesarilly be evil. he's a man who made a mistake and doesn't want to Ven Terra and Aqua (mostly Terra) to make the same mistake he did and end up like his other apprentice. in other words he will be a tragic villain
I perfectly agree. I think at the same time though that he also wants them to be able to save his apprentice who has already fallen into darkness
yes, he does state that he wants to save his apprentice. and says that those with darkness cannot wield the keyblade, because of his apprentice, in a way he might be trying to rid darkness by using princesses of pure heart to open the door to KH and destroying all darkness. but he might not realize that darkness is also needed on the world, for balance or something. i don't know just a theory.
