    No, I disagree. If you consider the things that make the MG franchise so amazing, I hardly doubt the 'voice of David Hayter' is a major selling point. I'm sorry but I hardly see anything amazing about Hayter as a voice actor. He's not terrible, but he's not breathtaking and blow people away in any sense when it comes how much he's been glorified by not only the fanbase, but himself as well. Too often have I seen interviews of this guy where he just self-deprecates himself beyond the point of amusement.

    He's just along for the ride; doesn't really give him the right to pretend he, cause he's really not, lol. There are far better voice actors with far more versatility in their craft than Hayter, and they receive far less recognition. The Metal Gear franchise did well because of its complex lore, not because of a voice actor doesn't stand out any more than any of the other characters.
