MGS isn't all fictional

I've been doing research on a weapon called a rail gun from the MGS series and i cam across this;

It mightn't be an exact replica to the ones in MGS but it does use the same tech as the ones in MGS.
What people don't realise is that there are some things in MGS that are far from fictional.The Stealth Camo that they mention in thoses games, the military have been experimenting with that since 2002.The Conspiritory organisation known as the patriots aren't real but the Illuminaty are real.The scenario of PMC's and a War economy could happen if the stock market collapses and with the way oil is going thats a possibility.People think that MGS is all fictional well think again.

 

Sweet. Never new MGS had that many connections to the real world. Then again, I made a thread saying Ocelot looks like Hulk Hogan...

 

Yeah I knew about this for years, lol. I did a report back in like 2002-03 in highschool about "Influences on military technology in video games" basing it around stuff in MGS that are slowly becoming real.

 

MGS looks pretty cool ;) Also, I didn't know that MGS was about things that could possibly happen, and I wonder if what you said, Daxma, will happen.

 

Ya, i mentioned MGS4 in school in relation to the war economy and how if the stock markets collapse then the War economy could form.

Well if the oil prices keep going up then eventually collapse and the normal person will have no power.Governments will have to privatise everything in the country which means banks would literally own the country along with the military.

DSK about the stealth camo, i think if any of you have seen MGS3 where the fear was using it and it drained his stamina, i think that they might have something like that.Stuff like these are Black Projects so we don't get info.They give you vague details like they're working on Stealth Camo and thats it.

I know that but i'm just saying that just because MGS is a game doesn't mean that it's completely fictional.

 

This is interesting. However, with the way the oil prices are going, I believe more people will focus on buying cars that run on fuels such as Ethanol, Hydrogen Fuel Cells, Electricity, etc. Most of the people in Brazil have already switched to the "Alternative Fuels", instead of using Oil.

Some other games, besides MGS, aren't completely fictional either.

It would be horrible for all the countries in the world to be Totalitarian states. Freedom would be crushed.

 

If that happens, I'm seriously going to blame Bush for us using up all the oil. After all, he's the one who allows so much of the oil to be obtained (for a lack of a better word to use).

 

Some truths people hate to hear and the PMC thing is one i don't want but the chances are that it will happen with the way we're going.It'll happen so slowly people won't even realise until it's too late.

It is interesting to point it out though and yes, rail guns have been around for some time as have some other things in MGS. That's one of the reasons the game is so popular. It does take things from the real world that are unique or being studied and incorporate the tech etc in the games.

 

Makes me wonder when they'll invent OctoCamo o_O

On a side note, Repliku are you a mod?

 

Repliku is a mod.For all we know, the octocamo has already been invented and is being kept under the radar of the public because if you think about it the octo camo would be the ultimate weapon on the war zone and if an enemy discovered that it was invented they would get there hands on it and it would just be an invisible battle.
Please put this back repliku because otherwise people won't actually talk about the subject and say stupid stuff unrelated to the subject, so please put it back.

 

I heard about this a while back, and for the record MGS is a sci-fi based on reality of cource it's got things about the real world in it, I'm just being picky to the people who said that they never new MGS had connections to the real world F***ing H*ll
