"no thankyou..." she whispered. "by the way....I'm sorry."

 

I looked at them both Curiously, still sat on my bed.

 

She looked at lexi, her already fast heart-rate going faster. "oh...h-hi..."

 

I looked over at Wolfe..."Hey kiddo, whats up? Why's your beating heart going faster?"

 

"n-nothing much..." she swallowed. "just an a-after effect I think..."

 

I looked at Wolfe.
"You're forgiven."

 

I smiled at her, then stood up. "I gotta go feed. See ya's in about an hour..." I squeezed through the open window.

 

she swallowed, attempting to ignore the dry ache in the back of her throat. she sat on the floor, her knees upto her chin. she was so afraid. a single tear rolled down her left cheek.

 

I ran through the field of the school, long passing the boundaries. I ran through the nearby town, then past that. In three minutes I was over a hundred miles away from the school. "Now...What to do?"

 

she sighed, looking at the floor. her thoughts were toying with the idea of following Lexi.... perhaps if she tried to change.... she shook her head. no of course not..

 

I moved another few hundred miles south of the school, eventually finding a village with nice scents.

 

I started to hum to myself, while still playing my DS.
"Dum dum di do, dum dum di do di dum."

 

she stood up, walking towards the window faster than her usual humanly pace.

 

I pulled a clip from my hair, snapping it and inserting one end into a door lock. I pushed the other half in ontop of it, twisting it until I heard the tumblers click into place.

 

she sighed, crouching on the window ledge.

 

Aduial stood off and dusted off her small, grass-green dress. She knew she could have done a better job, but at least she'd done something. An animal suffering, even a half-animal, was a sight she never wanted to see. Smiling to herself, she turned around to find her way back to the administrator's office, but stopped when she saw Angel. Her wings folded back, a nervous habit. She walked on, hoping to avoid a conversation.

 

Aduial sighed softly to herself as she continued down the corridor; she never was good with people. A strand of her dark green hair fell into her face. She blew the strand away and then lowered her eyes to her feet as she let her thoughts reflect on Angel.
He seemed very interested in what I was doing, She recalled. Yet he didn't say a word to me. It's probably a good thing. I'd never be able to keep my wits about me with someone so much taller than myself looming over me. At least he didn't make any jerkish comments about my height. For that matter, no one did. They must have been pretty distracted. Strange... it's like they've never seen a fairy handle a werewolf before.

 

Wolfe strolled down the corridor; although tired, she was restless. she couldn't get to sleep with out a leaking into her peaceful nights sleep.
she could still feel herself changing inside; she felt like she was getting stronger, although her appearence had changed little. Except for her hair; it was white. not black anymore. she still wasn't happy about that.
She looked down the corridor, seeing the back of Aduial. she smiled, then attempted to catch up with her.
She ran faster than she expected; rushing straight past the poor Fairy. she came to a halt, then turned back, smiling naturally for the first time since she got to this hell-hole.
