Aduial watched Wolfe, her smile never fading. She enjoyed the company of animals far better than that of humans. She thought of the others she'd seen so far at the school. She shivered at the thought of the one with wings. She'd gotten a bad feeling near him. But was he really dangerous, or was she just overreacting to some tribute of his? Shaking the unnerving thoughts from her head, she stood and went back to the window.

 

Wolfe walked up to the window, her wolf eyes gazing through the glass. she stuck one paw up against the glass. I want to be out there.. she thought to herself. I wanna be free. not stuck in this damn place.

 

Aduial picked up a few words from Wolfe's thoughts and pieced in the rest. "You're not the only one. But remember, positive thoughts bring better fortune that negative ones. Let's just grin and bear it... and not cause any trouble while we're here." She looked down at Wolfe with a smile.

 

Another rumble of laughter cam from the white wolf's chest. Wolfe shook her head, her ears flat to her skull. that is gonna be hard. wolfe looked up at aduial. werewolf + temper isn't good.

 

"You'll get the hang of it eventually," Aduial replied encouragingly. "I'm always here to help if you ever need it."

 

Wolfe looked up at aduial, the nuzzled her hand. wow... I have support.. she thought to herself. A weird feeling shook her insides.

 

Aduial had promised herself before she'd entered the doors of the school that she wouldn't frown, but how could she not? She wasn't in an ideal situation. She wasn't happy, so why should she smile? Despite her thoughts, she smiled. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere."

 

Wolfe walked towards the door of the small room, motioning her head for aduial to follow. she continued down the coridor. I know a way we could go outside for a while... unless you are tired.

 

Aduial kept pace with Wolfe. "I don't tire easily. Besides, I don't think it's against the rules to go outside; we won't get in trouble."

 

where we're going it is. wolfe's thoughts had the tint of happiness in them, whisch was unusual. come on! she began to run, down through the cold coridors and hallways, eventually hitting a dead-end. she looked up at the vent above them.

 

Aduial glided up to the vent, her wings beating like a humming bird's. Curiously, she inspected the vent. "How is this supposed to get us outside? You're far too big right now to fit through it."

 

Wolfe let out a husky sigh and rolled her yellow eyes. go up there and follow. I'll meet you at the other side. wolfe jumped, pouncing through an open window.

 

Aduial removed the vent cover, slipped inside, and put the cover back on. It was small and cold, but Aduial was able to move through it by folding her delicate wings. She came to the end of the vent after a few minutes and removed that cover. She pushed herself out of the vent and, floating on her humming-bird fast wings, replaced the cover. She dusted off her small, forest-green outfit and then checked her gold-pearl necklace. "Still intact. I hope I never have to do that again." She lowered herself to the ground, her wings still the moment her feet touched the grass.

 

Wolfe was already there, sitting in the grass. she'd got into the habits of licking her paws by now, and wash in the middle of a grooming session. she looked up, her eyes focussing on making out the small figure in the shadows. she advanced forward, meeting aduial with a wolfy smile.

 

"Creative," Aduial complimented. "We better not get caught."

 

Wolf emoved again, further into the forest, down a narrow pathway. a small sound of trickling water could be heard getting louder and louder.

 

Aduial followed Wolfe, her leaf-like shoes making soft sounds on the ground. She blew a strand of her short hair out of her face. "Water?"

 

Wolfe stopped, looking into a nearby cave. she looked at aduial, whining slightly. you wanna go in?"

 

Aduial nodded and stepped into the cave, her wings letting off a glow in the darkness.

 

Wolfe followed, looking around the cave inquizitively. she let out a small growl, running forward and into a small pool of water at the end.
The cave was lit up by a small blue glow, set off by the moonlight bouncing off the water, let in my an opening in the stone ceiling. wolfe resurfaced. what do you think?
