Sola got up an left the others without a word.
This is why I shouldn't trust people!
She thought she had a real chance to make some friends, or at least to not be hated, but in the end it was always the same.

 

"Oh, I'm sure they'll kill at least half of them; they are mostly part of the royal army."

 

I Followed Sola out of the room..."Hey, where are you going?"

 

I noticed Sola had dissapeared. "Hey Lex, where's she go?"

 

Lex was gone too. "Umm.....what happened to my buddies?"

 

She stopped.
"I don't know, somewhere dark." she mumbled the last part and walked away.

 

"What do you mean, somewhere dark? Whats wrong?" I Asked Sola

 

"Seriously, I'm going to find a nice dark corner to sulk in."
She was upset and felt a little weak from the pure white light.

 

"Hey, now theres no reason to do that. Something's bugging you. Come on, whats wrong?" I was sourly tempted to just read her mind, but i restrained myself.

 

I sighed "Well Akua, now that I have been thouroghly abandoned by my new friends, I suggest we hide some where my fan boys wont find us. Every time I order them to 'save me', they suddenly think they're my night's in shining armour."

 

She sighed. I thought they would have figured it out by now.
"Ok, here it is. I Have power over darkness. so, the bright white light in there, yeah, it kinda hurt."

 

"You can't have expected them to figure it out. And so what if you command darkness over light? Sure, it may have hurt, but I'm a demon of darkness! Come on Sola, Okay, maybe the light hurts, but at the end of the day, controling darkness is who you are!" I Said encouragingly.

 

"Fine. I'll go back." She said apologizing. She felt a little ashamed of herself.

 

"Hey it's okay" I Put my arm around her..."Theres no need to feel ashamed. Was it your first confrontation with the light? Like, being that close?"

 

I giggled. Yes, I GIGGLED. My silly, girlish, 5-year-old giggle of which I have not used since I was 5. "Heeee. The worst of them are the ones with the yellow badges; they're the most persistent."

 

"Well like that, yeah. I have no problem with sunlight or artificial lights. It's just that kind of white light." She said staring at the arm around her shoulder.

 

I removed my arm simultaniously.."Sorry. And I understand the feeling. I couldn't go near pure white light for weeks when I first got turned into a vampire" I said.

 

I giggled again. "Silly, but then who could I boss around? 'Number forty-two, can you get me a cup of tea?' 'Number 87, can you please got get my mom for me?'"

 

Sola couldn't think of anything else to say. After a short minuet the made it back to the room.

 

I looked up..."I Could get her to the basement levels in five seconds" I read everyones mind, realizing we had to hide gabby for some reason.
