Most disturbing scene in anime

I guess Alfons had a justified reason to try and help them. Germany, or should I say, the Weimar Republic (If you do not know what this is, chances are you will get a better answer from TCO than me), was in a slightly depressed state, with the recent loss of WWI and Europe's depression. Many Germans at the time saw Hitler's policies as the only way that Germany would get it's place back as one of the major countries.

I think he was coughing blood because he had Tuberculosis.

That's correct. It's just that Ed tries to dissuade him, and he coughs up some blood, and there's this look of horror/shock on both of their faces. The only reason he was helping them was because he thought that if he made the rockets and all that shiz, he'd become famous and all that. He figured, 'to hell with it, I'm gonna die'. And then he saw how evil they were and was all, "lolnvrmind."

 

He was at least smart enough to realize what would happen to the world when Third Reich existed. That is probably why he wanted to get a high position of power fast.

What would be even more silly was that Ed and Al stopped the Third Reich from even existing. Of course, the creators are smart enough to not do this by using common sense.

 

Seeing Higurashi a thousand times, it did leave me freaked out. Especially when Keiichi is in the hospital, and Mion sneaks in and "nails" him. Then, the next episode, Keiichi is burned and stuffed into a bag.

07th Expansion is a freaky company, for sure.

when Lucy rips Nana's limbs off was more disturbing because the were her real arms... in Episode 13, yeah Mariko strips her but it when her limbs come off they are fake so it's not as bad... in my opinion. xD

 

When Mikami's face(Death Note) starts to get thick, and then he starts nodding his head like he's mental, and he looks like a chimpanzee.

If you watched the show you'd know how possible it is

 

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni was actually a great show behind all that gore and blood. The second season moreso, but that season was much more linear and not too scary except for some stuff in the middle.

....

But speaking of, the [/SPOILER] Nail-ripping scene in episode 17 was pretty disturbing, even though I ended up skipping through it I still kinda lost my appetite. That and where Rika stabs herself in the head/neck. Over. And over. And over....[/SPOILER]

Really they probably weren't the most gruesome scenes though, just off the top of my head...

I cannot believe I'm saying this but in terms of Higurashi, episode 4 was pretty tame (IMO...But 'tame' in Higurashi is not 'tame' in a lot of other shows) DX .The crunching noises STILL disturb me though.

 

Elfen Lied. The entire thing.

Though it was a sweet effin' anime.

 

Hmmm... it would either have to be from school days or Higurashi for me.

School Days: When Kotonoha hacks away at Sekai's womb with a knife to see if there's a baby inside

Higurashi: When Shion pinned Satoko to that cross and stabbed her to death. There were plenty of other scenes just as disturbing though X_x

 

For me, the scene in Vampire Knight when Zero licks Yuki's neck right after he fully turns. That was a little messed up.
