I would say any movie sequels.

They are always neglected, because people think they are just going to make the original look horrible.

I agree. Most sequels aren't bad, they're even pretty good. Like the Lion King 3.

The Black Cauldron scared the shizzz out of me when I was little.

I don't know if Lion King 2 at all was unappreciated, but that was the best sequel to a disney movie everrrr.

And also Emperors new groove. That's the only disney cartoon I saw in theatres.

I never knew The Emperor's New Groove was ever underrated. I thought it was an awesome movie and made me laugh SO much. Though Dinosaur was probably very underrated. No one really talks about it, and some do not even know what I'm talking about when I mention it. I thought the animation was really cool, and the story was very nice too. Much better than the usual crap Disney comes up with.

    Fucking Dinosaur all the way.

I'd say Atlantis or ENG but those both got sequels and a TV show.

I enjoyed the Emperor's New Groove yet most people consider it a underrated movie maybe from the voice actors or the kind of story it centered around. According to critics it just wasn't one of the best unlike Lion King, Aladdin or the Little Mermaid.

I'm totally leaning on Dinosaur with this one. Honestly, when I first saw that movie I was a kid, and I wanted to see them make another movie or two of this one. It was very well done; the storyline was great, the characters were well developed and easily loved, the action was sleek and epic, and the music was pretty good. What did the movie get for it's awesomeness? Jackshit. >.>

Dinosaur or Black Cauldron to me wins this. Both were films that didn't get as much attention as they merited, even if some things in them were kind of lame. There were parts that were awesome. And the Horned King is one of the best Disney villains for scariness factor and he gets no attention.

I agree with Black Cauldron, but Dinosaur not so much, i mean it was good but the whole plot pretty much was The Land Before Time

Tron, TRON TRON TRON its not that its underrated OR unappreciated its just Sad to see this movie being Forgotten, i mean it was also a breakthrough of CGI animation

Emperors New Groove is hilarious and it had snarky humor, and i loved that.

EDIT: and Rescuers Down Under, its a great sequel and probably is one of the only disney movies to surpass the original movie

I would have to say The Black Cauldron. The storyline was great, the characters were amusing, and the animation was fantastic. It's a shame it doesn't get as much publicity as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty do, although you can kind of understand why since the Black Cauldron is quite different from Disney's usual happy-go-lucky movies.

I voted other just because I think The Hunchback of Notre Dame is extremely underrated. Really, I'm plagued by the constant complaints about how dark it is for a Disney movie, but I really like it!

It's probably my favorite Disney movie of all time, actually.

Was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I think it had something to do with the kitten.

Rescuers down under is probably the best Disney sequel.
