Its not that her grammar isn't perfect or her spelling for that matter. Its the fact that it is bad, but she does nothing about it. She doesn't even want to try at it, and that is scary to think about because it will screw her over down the line. If anything I do this out of concern for the fact that she doesn't even care. If that is how this generation is going to act, then WTF. Is it going to be a bunch of incompetent people, who are more interested video games and the internet then basic level spelling. I am really not trying to be mean here but I take care of first graders who spell better, and that is not ok.

 

hell Spitty I know a 9 year old who can spell better than me, he's scary smart.

 

I know plenty of people who are smarter than me, who are younger. But its the fact kids these days don't care about things like this that make a huge difference in the way people look at you later on. That is sad to see, I bug her cause I hope that she will take the hint and try harder. But honestly its her lose in the end.

 

Either way. Even if screws her life, its none of your business. And if you actually do care, and you really want to help her, take it over PMs or a different thread. Don't change topics of her threads all because of that.

 

I can see both sides here, it is all very well to encourage someone, but guys sometimes your "encouraging" can be very ****ing offensive.

So give advice and help sure, but please just you know, don't be so damn rude.​

For goodness sake guys. Why do you all continue to pester her? You have told her she is a bad speller, no need to drag it out. Can you all not just drop it? Show some maturity here.

 

Thats understandable it really is. But that is not somethingthat is good it really really really isn't. And if you keep it up, it will hold you back later on. So all I can say is good luck with that cause you are going to need alot of luck to be able to get by with spelling like that.

I can say that because every time it is brought up. You just say leave me alone I don't care. Thats it, I have nothing else to say on this it just not worth it.
