    What RPG might that be? I'm curious.

    Video editting skills doesn't decide if you are a noob or not, it's the way you post and act in a forum. I've been a good video editor for over a year and a half, but when i first started video editting I was a noob, even though I was good at it.

    Not meaning to sound harsh, and i've seen your AMV's and they are far from great. though decent at best.

    Oh a Role Play. Again having a popular RP doesn't automatically make you not a noob. It may be popular but it could be rather noobish, and lack depth. Not saying it is, i'm yet to see any of it, so I can't comment about that.

    no, we're not. but our non-n00bish status doesn't mean the rp itself or anyone else on it is non-n00b.
    (not claming anyone a n00b, mind you)

    I never said it was noobish, though I remember Twi once making a comment about the RP a while ago saying some parts of it can be a tad noobish and the odd God-modding.

    Again like I said, I can't comment or critise it since i've never set a foot in it. And besides this is about helping make the forum a better place.

    I think the name of the thread intimates people, the word noob is being used as an insult these days, and not many like to admit they are one.

    That's why I want to be on the team. I'm more of a non-n00b than a n00b, and you don't know me very well so how do you know if I'm a n00b or not

    i'm not taking sides with either you(Fate) or DA. i was just stating the fact that one person's non-n00bish status doesn't entail that another person(or a thread) is non-n00bish. make a little more sense?

    Your post history.

    You can be surprised how much it can tell you about a person.

    Though I am not trying to judge you. ^_^

    Fate, I'm going have to side with Darkandroid on this one. Just making Videos, or creating Threads doesn't make you a non-n00b.

    It's not exactly obssesed with them... But...

    Well, back on the old forum, and for a month or two on this one, everyone was very serious, and were non-n00bs. All of a sudden, we got this flood of n00bs. Of ourse, since n00bs are annoying and irritating, it drove us insane. We put up with it for a while, but I, personally, was almost driven to leaving. Twilightsown posted a topic about it, and I thought "Someone should try to return it to the way it was." So I opened this theard in an attempt to cleanse the Board of n00b-ness.

    Yes due to this change with noobs, discussion is a low and people lose the reason to post in the first place because there is nothing to comment about because there are no good discussions. This can ulimately kill a forum, and make it look bad.

    We're calling everyone n00bs because pretty much everyone here is one. If people would just change their ways a bit, people would have more respect for them.

    Sigh...looks like I missed a lot in a day >.>
    Fate, I didn't even know you had changed your name from vincent >.>
    And I have to agree with everyone that you are half and half in terms of n00b status. You aren't as bad as some, but you do things that are quite n00bish at times.
    And please do not sight Ed it Out as a reason for you to not be a n00b ^^;; that rp is so freaking n00bed out that it made the people you listed stop posting. Rena posted to finish her story, and if you noticed, I don't post to anyone but Sora and Riku anymore. Plus at least 1000 of those posts were conversations and not role playing. Sight a better source for you not being a n00b =_=;;

    So...anymore questions?

    Oh by the way, that n00bish message I gave an example of before, I don't know if that level of n00bosity could exist, but it is an extremely far-fetched and exagerated example.

    The following is aimed at guests who are yet to join, or haven't posted much yet.

    Anyway, those who haven't really made much of an impression yet of their posting style and personality on the forum, your first impression left is vital, as that is how people would look at you around the forum. Speaking of first impressions, make sure you post your introduction in the "introduce yourself" forum. And don't make it a one liner like.

    I've seen posts like that so much, it's just plain n00bish...
    Try something explaining what you like and introducing yourself.
    Anyway I know I said I would fix up Rp n00bs, but I will also try doing other specific areas of the forums, so that as well as knowing the general information about n00biness as the others are supplying, I will give information to specific areas as well.

    Alright guys. Let's stop explaining WHAT a n00b is and start helping those n00bs NOT be n00bs.

    @___@ dear god help us.

    We're starting to branch off from the very reason this thread was made...
