Naruto Shippuden: The Neo Akatsuki (Spoilers! Some dead characters are revealed!)

Kinen giggled. "Nah, It's wind. Maybe my second element is earth?"


Nai looked at Kimirasu. "You're really going for it...? I-i.... I'm scared."

 

"Wind can't create a garden like you can..there's always a chance of it."

Having trained hard,Kaori was heading through Konoha again with her father's blade around the back of her waist for easy access.Along the way, she spotted Nai, as well as her brother.Curious as to what Nai looked so fearful for, she blinked for a moment and took the time to examine her right and left hands, which were slightly charred after practicing her Chidori techniques.Her lips were dry from practicing her Fire Releases.And while she still had gas in the tank, she knew she needed to rest and save the rest of her chakra for emergencies or surprise attacks.

Still looking up toward Kimi and Nai, she didn't bother hiding her presence.If they noticed, they noticed.And she didn't even care about that little mark on Kimi earlier.

Kinen grabbed the finished plates of everyone else on the table, placed them in the sink, and walked over to the door. "Takashi? You coming? You're the one who wanted to train."

 

..She goes by things quickly. Takashi nodded and followed her, waving goodbye to Naruto and Sakura.

 

Kinen walked outside, humming lightly. "Well, at least now we can train on a full tummy. ^^"

 

"...I won't be able to hit you in the stomach then..I'll just hit everywhere else." Takashi wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek gently.

 

Kinen smiled and blushed. "Sure, but that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you." Kinen giggled.

 

"Neither will I.." he kissed her neck and brought her to a stop.He wondered to himself where Kaori was, and how she was doing after that loss.

 

"It's strange. It feels like only a week ago that I was hating your guts because you teased me to bits." Kinen smirked, and held onto Takashi's hand. "You shall be punished for that in training.
Kinen dropped his hand, and ran onto the training grounds.

 

Pulled away from his thoughts of the last team member, Takashi watched her run off and thought to himself more. Kinen was his girlfriend, but Kaori was family.And since Kaori didn't like her for that loss, how would they be a team?

He'd think more later.For now he just ran after her, making handsigns along the way.

 

Kinen smashed a hand into the ground, "life" chakra vineing along the ground. She jumped onto the large thorns, made a few handsigns, and ordered about 12 clones to head out after Takashi. Kinen giggled, and sat next to a large blood rose.

 

Encountering the shadow clones, Takashi ran right past them and headed for the real Kinen.He leaped up in the air, preparing to strike her chest.

 

Kinen grinned, and hopped away, a thorn shooting up i her place. She practically danced around the thorns, throwing sebon behind her, disappearing into her crowd of clones.

 

Not seeing the thorn coming, Takashi was suddenly impaled by it.Greatly shocked and wounded, he could not stop the senbon as they pierced his body, bringing him to near death.

 

Kinen popped her "real" self out of the clone crowd, and ran over to Takashi. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" She ran over and began gently taking out the sebon. Thank god she hadn't posioned them. She began to panic, and used some life chakra to begin healing his moore fatal wounds.

 

"..I'm perfectly fine." The real Takashi thrusted his palm into her back, knocking out most of her chakra points for a while.The Takashi Kinen was dealing with was in fact a clone he produced earlier as he ran.(Remember? xD) "Expect the unexpected." he said, patting her back as he leaned forward, looking into her eyes.

 

Kinen stopped dead in her tracks. She turned to look at Takashi. Her eyes were brimming with tears. "T-that's not v-very nice... I was r-really worried!" Kinen sniffed, and crossed her arms.

She turned from Takashi, purely disappointed.

 

He thought she's praise him for such a brilliant strategy, but Kinen was no Kaori.She was genuinely upset that he had gotten so wounded.Frowning and deactivating his Byakugan, Takashi put a hand on her shoulder and nudged her."I'm sorry Kinen..I only did what I thought was necessary to beat you.I didn't mean to make you so upset..don't cry."

 

Kinen pouted, and huffed lightly. "How do I know you won't do that again? I was genuinly scared for you! That is not okay." Kinen rubbed her eyes, and sat down on her knees, some droplets of tears falling.

 

"Because now I know how much it hurts..it would kill me inside to see something like that happen to you.." Takashi was upset to see her like this.He wasn't the affectionate type like some were in Konoha, and he rarely showed it.but this time, he had to..for her sake.He kneeled down and brought his arms around her from behind, bringing her close to him and feeling her chest heave."Kinen..please forgive me."
