Naruto Shippuden: The Neo Akatsuki (Spoilers! Some dead characters are revealed!)

Kinen walked over to the training grounds, to see Takashi. She had half a mind to turn back. Sometimes, he was just SO MEAN.

 

Takashi normally would've refused instantly, but perhaps she was right, he wasn't a god..he could probably use a break soon."..We can get something to eat.." he shut his eyes and looked away from her, taking a deep breath and looking up toward the morning sky."..I'm not picky..what do you have a taste for?" he asked, opening his eyes to find Kinen nearby.He looked toward the girl he actually respected instead, trying to ignore the Hokage's spoiled brat of a daughter.

 

He decided to head back to the training grounds, when he saw Kinen. He hid behind a nearby tree and sent his shadow after her.

 

Her eyes wandered to Kinen and gave a small smile at her, as they passed by. "How about some Ramen, or something." she said briefly. As she walked out of the training ground, she giggled. "She wanted to see you, Takashi." she said and gave him a smile. She gave another giggle and stopped. "Ignoring her won't help her not see you." she said and turned to him.

 

"Don't go there.." Takashi muttered to Masami as he kept going, despite her turning around.For now, all he wanted to do was eat and get back to training, as he'd be the strongest ninja in the entire village, Hokage aside.Ramen sounded good about now..anything to get away from the brat.

 

She held her head, and rubbed her temples and sighed. She tried to talk to him about it, but, of course, his feelings for Hokage's little girl was a bit esoteric. She walked after him, and turned right in front of him, so he would stop. "Don't be a curmundgeonist, please." she said in her soft voice, and walked backwards. "She seems a bit..ubiquitous, does she?" she asked him. All the time she have been in the training grounds with Takashi, she is always there. She turned around and smirked to herself.

 

This time, Takashi stopped and knew she wouldn't leave it until she got an answer.This was growing annoying..but girls would be girls."..ill-tempered?..it's not my fault I attract the worst kind of person there is..the spoiled kind." he replied, brushing past Masami and heading toward a Ramen Stand he regularly visited when he needed to eat something good.Good old Ichiraku."The usual." he told the owner as he put his hands together and rested his chin on his knuckles.Masami did have a point..the little girl was usually everywhere he was..and he hated that.

 

Masumi sat in the seat next to him. "You always used to say you should never assume things in combat." she started."Always analyze the situation, then react on it." she said as her long silver hair blew in the wind. "So.." she said and turned forward, getting ready to order. "Why can't you use that in real life then." she said, and didn't say anymore, knowing he got the point.

 

"Thank you." Takashi nodded to the stand owner and broke his chopsticks.He examined his bowl of ramen for just a moment, watching the steam rise from it.He tore his eyes from the bowl to Masami."Because my life isn't on the line when dealing with a talentless little girl..leave it at that or we're going to have some problems." he told her silently, a hint of anger added into it.He looked back toward his bowl and pulled a few noodles from it, quickly slurping them up and chewing accordingly.

 

"Really?" she asked in a impatient tone. Then she groaned and dropped her head down. "Alright." she said and held her head up. She wasn't going to try, because she knew that he was going to tone her out, or just yell at her. She sighed. "Can I have a glass of water." she asked politely, and gave a brief sigh. "There isn't any missions today, are there?"

 

Hearing her question, Takashi swallowed and looked toward her, glad she finally dropped the entire thing."I can't say for sure..my uncle is a busy man.He's likely on a mission as we speak." he looked toward his bowl again and quickly finished the rest.It was a small bowl, but it filled him up without it going to make him sick training.He pulled out money from his pocket and placed it down before getting up."I'm going for a run around the forest area..your welcome to join me." he told her before turning and heading for the village gate.

And asking him to train with you was not a common thing.He reserved it for people he held respect for.But with Masami, that might just change soon, depending on her act.

 

She gave her head a scratch. "Sure." she said and grabbed her glass and gulped it down. She walked after him, her head down. She sighed a bit and looked up, as they entered the forest area. She turned to him. "Are you ready?"

 

Without even saying 'Go', Takashi leaped up into the trees and began racing through the forest, kicking off from Tree limb after tree limb, making sure to keep going steady to his left as he ran around Konoha."..I don't want to talk about her anymore, all right?..I despise her enough as it is." he told Masami, assuming she was keeping up with him.

 

She was right behind him, jumping from tree to tree, following his movements." I understand." she said in a understanding tone. She still didn't really understand his hatred for the girl, but he wasn't going to talk to her about it, so she might as well not bring it up.

 

He ran, ran for fifteen minutes and arrived back at the training grounds, having been gone for about a total of twenty minutes.Takashi stopped at the same log he was beating earlier and looked back at his partner."You don't have to stay with me..I could hit this thing all day, you know that.." he told her, letting her know that unless she did some training around here, she'd be bored."Unless you've got something else in mind..?"

 

"Well.." she said and thought. "I never really had a spar with you." she said and paced around him. "I wanna fight you." she said "Can we?" she said.

 

Kinen saw Takashi leave the training grounds...looking at her for a moment, irritated. She felt tears well up in her eyes, but didn't bother to look back at him. She instead, walked deeper into the training grounds, to practice her rasengan. Everyone thought she was a brat. Everyone Everyone Everyone! ' They think I'm spoiled. I train just as hard as everyone else. ' She rotated her chakra, and hit a tree, making the tree cut in half. She stored chakra in her fist, and punched the ground, shaking trees and the like. No one understands.

 

Takashi watched her walk around him for a moment, and her idea sounded fun.It had been a while since they fought..a few years, in fact, so he had no idea what she had learned over the years.He was either at home training, or she was always busy with other things, and this was a rare time when both were free."..All right..tell me your terms..I'll see if I agree on them." he walked away from her and stopped, getting some distance between him and her to be fair.

 

He withdrew his shadow and went over to her. "What's wrong Kinen?" he asked. "I've never seen you so upset."

 

Kinen punched tree upon tree, letting out her anger. She turned to leave, but saw Takashi and one of the towns girls preparing to spar. She sat down on a newly made log, (hehe^^ wonder how that happened...) and watched them. I'm glad he isn't being hissy at everyone... Kinen mused to herself. She took out her obento, opened it and began to eat. "Ikidaimasu!" Kinen whispered, and began to eat while watching them spar.
